If it this is so ( the statement i have highlighted in your post.. Then likewise the idea that after you are saved that you are still a sinner must also be an issue.... But as you have confessed you are still a sinner just like everyone else that has been saved... So how can you select one particular sin and declare people who sin that sin
un-Christian while you sin sins but your sins do not disqualify you from being a Christian..

Either sin disqualify s a person from the atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ or it doesn't..You cannot say this sin disqualifies and another sin does not. Beyond what Jesus already declared when He revealed blasphemy of the Holy Spirit..

YES INDEED i believe it... Any sin will end in that sinner being cast into the eternal lake of fire because our God is Perfect.... And all who seek eatery into eternal life with Him must likewise be Perfect... The only Way for us to be deemed Perfect is to be perfectly covered by the Atoning Blood of the LORD Jesus Christ for all ones sins from stealing a cookie to the most terrible sins imaginable.. Each and every sin needs the Atonement of the LORD. and each and every sin will be covered by the Blood of Jesus if the sinner believes Jesus and trusts 100% in the effectiveness of His Atonement for their sins.

That's the Gospel and it ain't no joke..
People tend to think God thinks like THEM..as a human and RATE sins..

I saw no research that reported causation regarding homosexuality
Fair comment, UnderGrace. To fully prove the connection may not be possible. However the fetal developing tissues, nerves, etc, saturated in higher-than-normal stress hormones clearly stifles normal development. This is established statistically, as the links indicate.
Higher estrogen levels in the stressed mother may result in altered gender-certainty in the male fetus, neurologically. Yes, you're right, it is speculation. I have not met a homosexual male who feels they 'had a choice' to be that. Is that self-justification or genuine mis-wiring of their central nervous system?

Are you saved CS1 ???
Are you still sinning??? Yes..
So therefore you are saved while still being a sinner correct?
You have declared that you still sin CS1 so you yourself are being saved while still being in your sin..
again human reasoning does not change the word of God. When christian defend sinning like homosexuality it is from abias not from the bible. So we make excuses for the very sin we do because we have not seen victory in it. So the everyone sins and because I am saved all my sin is not even seen by GOd so keep sining. That is what you are saying . the diea that God would not lead one to have complete victory over the sin they struggle with is a lie. Do people practice gluttony ? what is gluttony ? it is lack of self-control which is a fruit of the Spirit is it not? So normalize sin in the believer because one has not had victory in an aera of thier life. LOL white lies not even found inthe Word of God. I love to see those jusify sin by using other sin to do so.

Heres an example..maybe easier for you to wrap your head around..a gay guy comes into the church..non belieber but "searching" ..in the process becomes saved..still "learning" how to walk as a christian...becomes aware that his gay lifestyle is wrong but still struggles in the temptation and hasnt recoeved "full victory" over his sin..are YOU gonna judge n say hes not saved? How DARE YOU!

Stop being so absolute and narrow minded in your thinking!

There are MANY sins that even christian believers struggle with..and maybe the rest of thier lives..God doesnt love them ANY LESS amd withdraw salvation...a sin is a sin in Gods eyes...

Go ahead..PICK up that "stone"...

That is the false narrative you are suggesting, none is casting stones. In addition, no is judging them. Yourself righteousness is very telling. The point of saved and resisting sin over still walking in sin. Just saying a little prayer without surrendering so one can still do what they want. I’m not talking about a Christian who is saved and is struggling with sin as you do and I and everyone. And you are very rude so don’t speak to me about open minded. I find it funny you claim one is judging yet you judge yourself that is a hypocrite would you not agree. Stop teaching it's ok to sin just because you like what you do and lack self-control don't place your weakness and unwillingness to be free onothers Read Luke 4:18-19 .

The living God is merciful not to condemn, but calls all who are willing to come to him, turn from their sin and be healed, giving each one the unique power to do so (call Grace)...but many deny the power thereof for a form of godliness, being deceived into believing sin is too strong to overcome in our mortal bodies even with that power.

And so there's no real faith in the grace that is given to save the believer from the sin.

{"salvation by grace through faith".}

That's the lie: that sin is mightier than The Almighty God's very own gift of grace sent to defeat it.

I tend to agree but even seasoned christians fall to temptation and sometimes its a REPEATED temptation..and faith sometimes is weak n small..usually the faith of a baby christian is not like that os a seasoned one but BOTH are still saved..

Even the deciples lacked faith at times (thank you Thomas) and they literally WALKED with Jesus..was HIS faith not real or his salvation secure?

And satan will ABSOLUTELY mess with a believers head telling them that Gods grace isnt enough...

Well you've said it. Thomas lacked faith. A lack of faith is not the existence of real faith. One doesn't need faith in something (or someone) they can see. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the EVIDENCE of things NOT SEEN". Thomas saw Christ, and placed his hands in His hands and side, before which he wouldn't believe. So no, He wasn't faithful. But yes Christ was still merciful to Thomas' weakness if that's what you mean.

John 20:29
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

"Stumbling in sin" and "not believing sin can be overcome with Yah's power of grace" are two completely different things.

So I say blessed are those who, when they stumble in sin, stand up in faith believing that they'll overcome it next time with God's grace.

Your last paragraph i totally believe..stumble..ask forgiveness..perservere..THATS the "walk"

I TOTALLY believe that Jesus picked the desciples too for OUR relatability today as well..who has never doubted Gods will or direction for thier life? Who has never lead a lifestyle or done things in thier life that God doesnt aprove of like Matthew? Who has not put thier foot in thier mouth like peter? Etc..

Hey CS1. I think what you said here (in bold) is the crux of the matter. Emphasis on lead, because it is a process. You know how fruit takes time to bear in real life on a tree? We too as believers take time to bear fruit, some faster than others. It isn't normalizing sin to say that sanctification is progressive, and over time the Lord works on our character. This, of course, is no excuse for sin but we must keep in mind the sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice for our sin. If we do sin (as it says in 1 John 2) we have an Advocate with the Father (Hebrews 7:25 - Jesus our High Priest interceding on our behalf forever, able to save us completely).

God will sanctify us (and has set us apart); we are His workmanship and He will finish the good work He has started.

I agree with you and you are not submitting a false narrative in context to the Thread title. There is a false teaching that you can be gay and it's Ok because everyone sins. That is not true. We should have victory over the sin AS Christ did should we not? So does the fruit of the Spirit show up in one’s life without the person demonstrating the fruit in their life? Is you who has self-control or not given tom you by the Holy Spirit? Is you who is to be a witness or not? Is it you who is obeying or not? Or do we just float through life never having victory over homosexuality or whatever it is the sin we continue to do? Never attaining.

2Ti 3:7 “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Then they teach other to sin is ok read Isiah

Isa 28:15 You boast, “We have struck a bargain to cheat death
and have made a deal to dodge the grave.[fn]
The coming destruction can never touch us,
for we have built a strong refuge made of lies and deception.”

they know what we mean they are just trying to make other feel better about sining. a watered down gospel message because they have loved ones who are gay or know people who cannot overcome it. Instead of asking how can they overcome or why they cannot overcome? They make false teachings to deal with emotional expression over speaking truth in love.

1. They say you are judging yet they judge you
2. They use other sins as example to justify homosexuality or their own sin

3. play with sin because they love what they do as Rom 1 says.

No you're right..what you say is completely right. Those examples would definitely apply to me too.

I usually chime in because while what you say is completely true for our walk, I just strive to encourage believers to also know that there's a final destination to all the walking; an entrance into the promised land. We're not walking for the sake of walking. We're trying to get somewhere.

While the Master will definitely keep our sandals from wearing down during this walk (amen, amen), that doesn't mean we have to walk in circles in the same wilderness until we die ("wilderness" here being a metaphor for a particular vice or difficult personal sin). And I'm not implying you're saying that Jewel, nor arguing with your point or with a point you haven't made. I'm just sharing my intentions for adding my two cents to this thread.

Be blessed.
