For a Christian that would be murder. And yes it does take great skill to shoot without killing, and that is really what cops should be doing.
Ignorance alert^^^^^^^^^^^^^Ignorance alert^^^^^^^^^^^^Ignorance Alert ^^^^^^^^^^^^^!!!!

there is a time to KILL and the word is different

In 1930 the US white-tailed deer population was down to about 300,000. Today, estimates of how many there are range as high as about 30 million. That’s a 1,000-fold increase in less than 100 years.

What would an ideal number of white-tailed deer be in the US? Scientists estimate the average carrying capacity is about 8 deer per kilometer. The current average? Up to 100 deer per kilometer.

The shift in the white-tailed deer population can be attributed to many factors. In the 1920s the species was actually nearing extinction due to overhunting before government protection programs and national parks sought to save it. You could say that they succeeded. Unfortunately, a number of factors are now leading the deer population to spiral out of control. These include:

  • No predators. Wolves, cougars, and grizzlies, which all once preyed on old, sick, and newborn deer, are now extinct in most states, and much of their former habitat is gone. However, the increase in human population will not stop the deer because…
  • Deforestation actually helps the deer. The white-tailed deer is a species that flourishes in “edge” habitats: that is, habitats along the edges of forests and roadways, as well as newly-planted lawns. This is why they have been so explosively successful in the suburbs. Which also means…
  • Hunting rates are going down. On average, about 6 million deer are killed each year by hunters, though this number is decreasing. By contrast, the deer population will double every other year under ideal conditions; the latest estimate suggests that 12 million fawns were born after the last hunting season. And this number will keep increasing because…
  • Due to the fact that they preferentially graze on disturbed or edge habitats, white-tailed deer populations naturally fluctuate. As such, they have evolved few methods of self-regulation (such as birthing fewer fawns in crowded conditions).

Deer in the US eat 15 million tons of vegetation each year, which costs about $248 million in damage to crops and landscaping in the Northeast alone. About 150 people per year are actually killed due to car collisions with deer. Furthermore, deer carry deer ticks, which can transmit lyme disease to humans.

But the impacts are not limited to us. Native ecosystems are bearing the brunt of the damage. A study on one forest in Pennsylvania found that over half of all plant species diversity had vanished thanks to hungry deer. Other studies suggest that deer prefer eating native to exotic plant species, which facilitates the spread of invasive plants.

I have some friends who are very fine Christian people.
They are the salt of the earth.
They are people like those mentioned in Hebrews 11:38, "of whom the world is not worthy."
I feel thankful and humbled just to share the same planet with them.

And yet, sometimes if I ask these people to consider something NEW, something they haven't considered before ( perhaps a different way to think of a verse or a topic) they can't even consider it for analysis... they just have a sort of "reaction" to it, and dismiss it out of hand.

It's a very strange phenomena, but very common.
Why do you assume that they have never thought about the issue you are putting forward to them?

Why do you think they have never before spent hours, days, weeks or years even, analyzing the many different POVs related to the issue?

Do you assume they are inferior morons that do not have the mental capacity to think about your POV?

Maybe they have thought about the issue extensively and the reason why they dismiss it so quickly is because they have already been there and thought about that.. So they are not dismissing it ""out of hand"" but are simply dismissing it quickly because they have already contemplated it and debated within themselves that POV..

The best gun i ever owned was a Ruger.. Nice scope on it too.. Stainless steel M77 with a composite stock.. Man i must have ended a thousand roos and 10 thousand rabbits with that rifle..

I found the gun on Utube.. In this video.. the very same type.. Skip to the 32 second mark to see it.. I did not watch the entire video so i can only vouch for the first 2 minutes of the video..

Glass Houses

In your country you don't even have the freedom to view the video, or read the shooter's manifesto, without getting a 10 year prison sentence. You have no idea what the shooter was actually thinking... because you go to prison if you try to read his words and find out.

The rest of the world knows more about your country than you do, because your own news is so heavily censored.
YOU actually go to PRISON if you try to read anything you're not supposed to read.

Perhaps, since your own news is censored so heavily that you don't even know what's going on IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY... maybe you should rethink how much you really know about a country on the other side of the planet.

Just a thought.

All countries have problems; if you live in a glass house, please don't come on here throwing bricks...

no one likes being hit with a brick, and your own house is going to end up shattered.

.
Why would anyone want to watch a video of someone shooting a lot of people.
Would you show that to your children? What, so they cluld learn its cool to shoot lots of people?

Think about it. I dont live in a glass house and Im not throwing any bricks. I am just telling you the truth.

If that makes you uncomfortable so be it.

You are DEAD wrong about people not being allowed to do things and then being thrown into prison. Its about the safety and welfare of everyone.

If you want to learn how to sin, and glorify it thats YOUR problem, why try to influence other people who just arent interested in your sinning.

God protects us I had a lady in my bible study say she lived through the Blitz. Maybe people dont know what the blitz was, well it was in England during world war 2 and the axis countires were bombing the place from the sky. Did the civilians defend themselves with bombs and guns well actually NO.

She said all the churches prayed psalm 91 together and not one was killed. GOd had supernaturally protected them.

Another example..Jesus said to his disciples that the temple was going to be destroyed, so they all had to flee when the wrath was coming. He didnt say that they had to stick around and defend the temple.

JEsus own temple was sacrificed meaning his body but was raised on the third day.

Amazing.

Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, whoever loses his life will save it.

We dont go round wearing bullet proof vests but we do have our shield of faith, and we have weapon that isnt carnal its the sword of the Word of God.
