If satan can put thoughts in your mind, he must be able to read your mind. Read ICor.13:1, Romans8:26,27, Luke10:19,20 and Joh.20:21, Matt.18:18,Php.4:6,7 and Acts 5:3 also 1Ch. 28:9,Eph6:11 Hope this might help
I'm calling you on this Lindasue. You have just posted a bunch of Bible verses which have nothing to do with Satan being able to read our minds.

"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." 1 Cor. 13:1

"[SUP]26 [/SUP]Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. [SUP]27 [/SUP]And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God." Romans 8:26-27

"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:19-20

"Jesus said to them again,
“Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” John 20:21

"Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Matt. 18:18

"do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. [SUP]7 [/SUP]And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:6-7

“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever." 1 Chron. 28:9

"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." Eph. 6:11

NOT ONE of those verses has anything to do with Satan reading our thoughts!!!!! They are either about the power of God which we have been given in Christ Jesus, or about the defensive armour God has given us to resist temptation, along with the offense weapon of the Word of God.

As for Acts 5:3 - this is about Satan tempting Ananias, rather than reading Satan reading his thoughts

"But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?"

Isdaniel, you might want to actually look up the verses before you like a post! Too much giving credit to the devil where none is found.

The devil is a fallen angel and God is in control.

"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7

Notice James says "Submit yourselves therefore to God" first. That is the part that is most important. We resist the devil by being in submission to God, because God is in control.

Unless people are having conversation with invisible beings that I do not know about, Satan can read our minds. He cannot read our hearts.
Bible verse for this, Drett, needed. (No Qur'an, please!)

What about Joseph ?
I'm not saying the weakness can't be overcome. But in general, men are weak when it comes to women. If a crime syndicate can't destroy or corrupt the man, who do they target? They threaten his wife, or his family. A man will often care more for the lives of his wife and children, than for his own life.

It doesn't really take mind reading for Satan to have used this knowledge against Adam, as it has been used by evil men without the ability to read minds throughout history.

I'm not sure, so I'd say no. There isn't any evidence in the bible of angels reading minds, is there? Same as the devil, I think.

How do demons communicate with each other if they have no bodies? We communicate thru speech and writings but is this also how demons communicate? Of course not. They communicate thought to thought.

I personally believe demons can't read all of our thoughts but if the demons live under your skin, they will know each and every thought you think.

the bible gives no evidence that demons or the devil can read our thoughts.
pretty sure God is the only one who is able to do that
and, just because the devil is able to 'put' thoughts into our minds, doesn't mean that he can read our minds, he just knows the thought that he tried to put in there.

also, Samson desired Delilah so much that one could call it lust. the devil would have known this by his words and actions. I have yet to meet a man (or woman, for that matter) who passionately desires another, yet it able to keep it a complete and utter secret from everyone

I'm pretty sure the burden of proof lies on those that claim Satan can NOT read thoughts. Is there any Scripture that limits Satan to not hearing thoughts?
I see that Scripture gives him the ability to project thought; would the inverse not be assumed? yes.

As an angel, Satan is both spiritual and physical, as angels were created as messengers, to go between the physical and spiritual. If Satan is spiritual, then he communicates in spirit. As a person can overhear a conversation, cannot a spirit overhear a thought?
As a Christian, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit, and Satan has no power over us. But for the unsaved... where does the Bible say he is not able to manipulate their thoughts?

What Scripture denies Satan this power?

How do prayers reach to God ?
Interesting question. As New Testament believers, we have the Holy Spirit living within us. So our prayers reach God as soon as they are prayed, although God knows our needs before we even pray for them.

I don't think there is anything in the Old Testament saying angels carried prayers to God, though (i.e. the angels ascending and descending Jacob's ladder weren't said to have been carrying prayers).

I think the burden of proof lies on those who claim that Satan can read thoughts because that basically means he is able to do something that the bible reserves specifically for God. Satan only has the power that God gives to him.

It's explained right there in Revelation itself.

"And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand" (Rev. 8.3,4).

"Behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it" (Gen. 28.12) taking prayers up to heaven. and reporting to God

Was Helen Keller ever tempted by Satan? And if so, when?
And what means would he have used to do so?
There was no medium of interaction with the outside world except for touch, until she learned to talk.

our prayers don't float up to heaven. God can read our thoughts and search our hearts. He constantly knows what you are thinking/praying.

Job 33
14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

Do the angels of God put the instruction that God give them for us there ?
