If satan can put thoughts in your mind, he must be able to read your mind. Read ICor.13:1, Romans8:26,27, Luke10:19,20 and Joh.20:21, Matt.18:18,Php.4:6,7 and Acts 5:3 also 1Ch. 28:9,Eph6:11 Hope this might help
"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." 1 Cor. 13:1
"[SUP]26 [/SUP]Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. [SUP]27 [/SUP]And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God." Romans 8:26-27
"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:19-20
"Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” John 20:21
"Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Matt. 18:18
"do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. [SUP]7 [/SUP]And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:6-7
“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever." 1 Chron. 28:9
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." Eph. 6:11
NOT ONE of those verses has anything to do with Satan reading our thoughts!!!!! They are either about the power of God which we have been given in Christ Jesus, or about the defensive armour God has given us to resist temptation, along with the offense weapon of the Word of God.
As for Acts 5:3 - this is about Satan tempting Ananias, rather than reading Satan reading his thoughts
"But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?"
Isdaniel, you might want to actually look up the verses before you like a post! Too much giving credit to the devil where none is found.
The devil is a fallen angel and God is in control.
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7
Notice James says "Submit yourselves therefore to God" first. That is the part that is most important. We resist the devil by being in submission to God, because God is in control.
