New converts were encouraged to learn the law of Moses little by little. Impossible to learn in a here a there and a little there.

Act 15:19 "So I've decided that we shouldn't trouble non-Jewish people who are turning to God.
Act 15:20 Instead, we should write a letter telling them to keep away from things polluted by false gods, from sexual sins, from eating the meat of strangled animals, and from eating bloody meat.
Act 15:21 After all, Moses' words have been spread to every city for generations. His teachings are read in synagogues on every day of worship."
After which Paul told the Corinthians to (essentially), what that letter was truly about. It was not a return to the Law, but a matter of loving others by not offending them.
He told them that the food restrictions are not so important but the sexual issues were.

1 Cor. 6:12-13 (ESV)
12 “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything. 13 “Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

op: use microwave on sabbath?
Since sabbath observance is not required, Under GraceToday (Col 2:16),
then this is moot, Correct?

Amen.

If you search online a lot of people say it is prohibited, however I also read it okay to warm up foods in the microwave.... I'm curious if we can use the microwave or not... What do you guys do and eat on the sabbath??? Any input?🤔
I'm not personally under the law. If I know how to operate a microwave oven, then I can use it on any day of the week.

I suppose, in a pinch, "Blowtorches for Dummies " will suffice.

IF we take this just as you asked.. I will just post what I read
"The Orthodox Union Torah website said the Torah doesn't allow cooking on the Sabbath and there are restrictions around reheating food, such as not using microwaves. Some Jewish people follow these practices and there are household appliances already primed for meeting these religious accommodations."

I ate New Castle burgers just once at one of their restaurants. I was with one of my sons. We both regretted eating them before the night was over. Never again.
White Castle, not New Castles. Very big chain in Detroit where I grew up. No White Castle resturants where I live in NE Tennessee. Frozen is not quite the same as fresh.

That was included in what they were discussing about the matter (Acts 15:19-21) but in continuing to read the entire chapter in Acts 15:24 their final decision they sent in their letter to the gentiles was that they were (not required to be circumcised and keep the law).

I'm rather ol is very disarming. Many an argument might never come to be if more posts were begun this way, in my opinion.
