Actually Hebrews 1:3 reads better in the KJV.

Hebrews 1:3 KJV
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Boils down to this as YOU OPPOSE GOD and HIS WORD..PERIOD!

I believe Christ suppressed his divine attribute of Omniscience so as to be like a man. <---you

God--->That word suppressed contradicts what the bible teaches about what he actually did in Philippians 2:6-7 as the word is kenoo in the Greek and is passive and means (to make EMPTY) and means that the Lord remained himself, but CHANGED HIS MODE of BEING so as to lay aside the DIVINE to take the FORM of a SERVANT......He emptied himself of the GLORY which he had with the Father, laid aside the divine NATURE, changed his MODE of BEING and TOOK on himself the form of a SERVANT so as to be TEMPTED IN LIKE MANNER as we are TEMPTED.....

Calm down, show some decency,

I understood what you were trying to say, but rather it be premeditated and hiding it, is beyond the fact, sin is sin. I actually liked the scripture you gave, I've explained this on some other thread, this is why we have 1st degree 2nd degree murder, manslaughter, and so fourth, there's different levels of sin, but sin is still just that sin, no external stuff.
Improve your reading comprehension skills. I didn't say that looking at objects is a sin.

Eyeing treasures isn't a sin, but they can be a stepping stone to sin.

Another example of an external temptation is peer pressure. You attend a friend's party and find your buddies to be performing an orgy. They invite you to join them, directing you toward a seductive woman in the corner.

This is when your friends become a source of external temptation, and that proceeds into internal temptation, where you must maintain your divine dignity by resisting both your ungodly desires and the source of those desires.

1 Corinthians 10:13 --> God won't allow you to be tempted beyond your ability. A path of escape is always open to you.

And all those other verses, which advise its readers to flee from sin, never give the devil an opportunity, etc.

By leaving the party as soon as possible, you rid yourself of the external temptation, which is the source of your internal temptation.

We must resist sin via both mental and physical capabilities, because sin comes from both internal and external sources.

I agree.....doesn't do any good to cast the word out for him to trample it under his feet....If he will reject he language of Philippians 2:6-7, Hebrews chapters 2 and 4, Matthew 4 and the corresponding chapters in Mark and Luke there is nothing more to be said. He has consistently ignored the truth and trampled it underfoot for sure which undermines Jesus and what he actually accomplished by his TEMPTATION.....!

Yeah and exactly how do you suppose that the disciples were able to do GREATER WORKS than Christ which is what he said they would DO...You still deny the truth in favor of a tainted view of Jesus...good luck with or pride and refusal to acknowledge truth.
The verse you allude to talks about the many public miracles Jesus did were the works of the Father done in Him (Which is in John 14). However, this is not an all inclusive statement for every single thing Jesus did (Which were not seen by large crowds). For you cannot ignore the truth of the rest of Scripture where Jesus says He has power to raise the dead just as the Father can. You can't ignore Scripture that says that He can raise this Temple (his body) three days later. You can't ignore Jesus saying to those believers around him that when 2 or more are gathered in His name He is among them. You can't ignore Scripture that says that Jesus was upholding all things by the word of His power when he had (by himself) purged us of our sins. Jesus had power during His Earthly ministry.

In other words, I would like for you to quote each verse that suggest Jesus has power (From my previous post that lists these verses) and I would like for you to expound or explain what you think they are saying, my friend.

Jesus has the Power!

~
For During Christ's Ministry: ~

1.
Jesus has the Power over the Grave.

Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days." (John 2:19).

"For Just as the Father raises the dead and gives life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it" (John 5:21).

2. The Spirit of Christ (Jesus) has the Power of being Omnipresent.

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them" (Matthew 18:20).

3. Jesus upheld all things by the Word of His Power.

"Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high." (Hebrews 1:3).

4. Jesus's Power Paid the Price for all of Mankind's Sins
(So that they can receive the Free Gift).

"Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;" (Hebrews 1:3).

"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." (John 1:29).

5. Jesus has the Power to Forgive Sins and Provide Eternal Life.

"Why does this fellow talk like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" (Mark 2:7).

"But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John 4:14).

"The thief comes only to steal and kill, and destroy: I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10).

hmm, i wonder here - what did the Holy Spirit do during Jesus' time on earth? - Some people actually don't believe in the Holy Spirit, they give mental assent but that's it -their actions deny their belief

Indwelling Jesus - who walked perfectly by the Spirit

Isaiah 42:5-8
Thus says God, the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out,
who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it
and spirit to those who walk in it:
6 “I am the Lord; I have called you[b] in righteousness;
I will take you by the hand and keep you;
I will give you as a covenant for the people,
a light for the nations,
7 to open the eyes that are blind,
to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon,
from the prison those who sit in darkness.
8 I am the Lord; that is my name;
my glory I give to no other,
nor my praise to carved idols.

Who was empowered by the Spirit to bear fruit of the spirit and Gifting of the Holy Spirit

That Jesus humbled Himself and made Himself a servant without using His divine nature, Perfectly entrusted Himself in the fear of the Lord, dependence on the Father though the working of the Holy Spirit

That He perfectly played the role as the Second Adam, resisting all temptation perfectly but baring all that temptation so that we can call Him a High Priest that understands temptation, so that He is truly sympathetic - not fake

That living like, acting like, being conformed to Jesus Christ is possible by the Holy Spirit

If Jesus wasn't tempted, then the whole of Christianity is a Joke of platitudes, and striving for the wind

Love the picture here of Jesus and the Father over the New Covenant that Jesus will bring, as the Father promises to uphold Him by the hand

and the promise in the Covenant through Jesus, and to us - if you don't believe in Assurance of salvation, i don't know what will convince you

Psalm 89:26-35

He shall cry to me, ‘You are my Father,
my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’
27 And I will make him the firstborn,
the highest of the kings of the earth.
28 My steadfast love I will keep for him forever,
and my covenant will stand firm[d] for him.
29 I will establish his offspring forever
and his throne as the days of the heavens.
30 If his children forsake my law
and do not walk according to my rules,[e]
31 if they violate my statutes
and do not keep my commandments,
32 then I will punish their transgression with the rod
and their iniquity with stripes,
33 but I will not remove from him my steadfast love
or be false to my faithfulness.
34 I will not violate my covenant
or alter the word that went forth from my lips.
35 Once for all I have sworn by my holiness;
I will not lie to David.

No, my friend. Jesus specifically referred to Himself as having power in raising the dead as the Father could.

For Just as the Father raises the dead and gives life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it" (John 5:21).

In other words, Christ could not make a claim He had power to raise the dead like the Father if He was stripped of all power Himself and merely relied upon the Spirit. Jesus specifically references Himself in having this power like the Father has this power.

Besides, if Christ was completely stripped of all of His divine attributes then He could not have the power to forgive sins and provide eternal life to people. For there is no name under heaven whereby men can be saved but by Jesus.

For He that has the Son has life and He that does not have the Son does not have life (1 John 5:12).

Only God has the divine power to forgive sin; And Jesus can forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteous.

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: (1 John 2:1)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (1 John 1:9).

In other words, if Jesus was just a powerless man with no divine power as God, He would not be able to forgive sin, and provide salvation to people.

I am done with you dude based upon the following...

1. You ignore context, verses and words which contradict your view and prove you are in error
2. You constantly attempt to take the focus off of your errors by changing the subject
3. You attribute things said or implied to those who disagree with which have not been said nor implied, which is lying and being deceptive
4. You use worldly made up examples and then compare them to INSPIRED parables
5. You devalue the temptation of Jesus and what it actually accomplishes
6. You divide temptation erroneously into internal and external with NOT ONE SCRIPTURE that PROVES your stance
7. You refuse to acknowledge truth while trampling the truth under foot like SATAN does
8. You disregard the inspired Greek which over rides the English and which totally contradicts your view of SUPPRESSION
9. You disregard exactly how it is that Jesus does and did the work of the Father by the Holy Spirit dwelling In Him and how that applies unto the disciples
10. You consistently prove your ignorance of the word and denial of the word while standing upon another man's opinion
11. Everyone has seen your fallacy and rejection of the truth...

I am done casting out the word of God before you to only have you reject the obvious truth, render it void by your humanistic understanding as opposed to a spiritual understanding while refusing to humble yourself and your pride to admit error........good luck with the Jesus that you promote..............

No doubt and when the Pharisees were told about the unforgivable sin they were attributing the work of Jesus to the power and workings of the devil.....Jesus was doing all the works as a man by the HOLY SPIRIT of God dwelling in HIM just like the disciples/apostles were able to do....he is blind to this as well........because it contradicts his erroneous view.

For the Scriptures say the FULNESSS of the Godhead dwelled within Him bodily. If the Spirit of Christ was crippled or reduced in some way, then that would mean the fulness of the essence of the Word (second person of the Godhead) would make that Scripture verse out to be a lie. For if Christ was emptied of His divine attributes, He could not be the Fulness of the title of being the Living Word. There would be no fulness of the Word within the Godhead within the body of Christ if the Word was emptied of power.
