For the Scriptures say the FULNESSS of the Godhead dwelled within Him bodily. If the Spirit of Christ was crippled or reduced in some way, then that would mean the fulness of the essence of the Word (second person of the Godhead) would make that Scripture verse out to be a lie. For if Christ was emptied of His divine attributes, He could not be the Fulness of the title of being the Living Word. There would be no fulness of the Word within the Godhead within the body of Christ if the Word was emptied of power.
Fulness--->pleroma--->repletion or completion, what fills, that put in, filled up, complete....

God has dealt to every man a measure of FAITH

FOR GOD GIVETH NOT THE SPIRIT BY MEASURE UNTO HIM...

Jesus is ALL man being 100% completely FILLED with the SPIRIT OF GOD......and is the EXAMPLE OF WHAT MAN CAN BE when 100% LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD......but this too will you reject which is par for the course with YOU! Or you might change the word or add a word not given!

I am done with you dude based upon the following...

1. You ignore context, verses and words which contradict your view and prove you are in error
2. You constantly attempt to take the focus off of your errors by changing the subject
3. You attribute things said or implied to those who disagree with which have not been said nor implied, which is lying and being deceptive
4. You use worldly made up examples and then compare them to INSPIRED parables
5. You devalue the temptation of Jesus and what it actually accomplishes
6. You divide temptation erroneously into internal and external with NOT ONE SCRIPTURE that PROVES your stance
7. You refuse to acknowledge truth while trampling the truth under foot like SATAN does
8. You disregard the inspired Greek which over rides the English and which totally contradicts your view of SUPPRESSION
9. You disregard exactly how it is that Jesus does and did the work of the Father by the Holy Spirit dwelling In Him and how that applies unto the disciples
10. You consistently prove your ignorance of the word and denial of the word while standing upon another man's opinion
11. Everyone has seen your fallacy and rejection of the truth...

I am done casting out the word of God before you to only have you reject the obvious truth, render it void by your humanistic understanding as opposed to a spiritual understanding while refusing to humble yourself and your pride to admit error........good luck with the Jesus that you promote..............

I think the real reason you are bowing out of this debate is because you don't know how to explain the passages I brought up about Jesus having power during His Earthly ministery. Rather than be placed into being confronted with the truth of what the Bible says plainly elswhere and admit that you are wrong, you are taking the easy way out.

Anyways, I say this not to wound you but to show the truth in love.

May God bless you.
And please be well.

No, my friend. Jesus specifically referred to Himself as having power in raising the dead as the Father could.

For Just as the Father raises the dead and gives life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it" (John 5:21).

He does Jason, but He also has the power to do whatever He wanted .. He chose to have a human experience to be more familiar with us. He was divine but was a man/God, He did miracles, but lived in poverty...

The majority of the public miracles was the Father's works. For his disciples asked to see the Father, and Jesus essentially said they already seen him by His presence and that if they did not believe Him, then they were to believe Him based on the works that He did. Jesus was in obedience to the Father. The Father told Him what to say and do. But Jesus also claimed to have power as God. His living in poverty, crying, feeling pain, and dying does not equate with Jesus having a human soul/spirit, carnal nature, and or a capacity to consider in doing evil, or to fail within His mission. Jesus is God. His deity should not be cut away or eliminated by his humanity. For the Scriptures do not teach that Jesus could have failed. Jesus is God. Christ's redemption and success of saving mankind was already a done deal before the world began (Because Christ is God).

Wow... Improve my comprehension skills... While you tell Dc to calm down, respect your elders son...
If Dcontroversal doesn't respect others, then he himself doesn't deserve respect. You agree with what he says, don't be blind to how he says it, like an immature child: Excessive use of capital letters, exclamation marks, constantly condemning others for not agreeing with him: you name it.

I think you should go back and read all my posts...I disagree with his false teaching and have proven it by scripture in context...I suggest post 475 and 477 to see who uses CAPITAL LETTERS EXCESSIVELY and then go read and ask how many people in the this thread how he adds to what we say, twists what we say, accuses us of saying things we didn't say about Christ, accusing us of saying Jesus sinned, had evil, and or an evil nature and I use ! all the time as the words that I state are statements...so...after you mature a bit, and study for twice as long as you have been alive then you can mouth and it actually mean something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Until then I SUGGEST YOU HAVE ALL THE FACTS before you start mouthing! Gecko!

P.S. this isn't AOL or FACE BOOK....a lot of people who are emphatic use caps to be emphatic so the next time you wrongly assume any other thing that being emphatic I suggest you ask....!!!!!!!!!!

You agreed with another that Jesus was not good. You said God creates evil in Isaiah 45:7. You believe Jesus can be tempted but you will not answer my questions as to what is causing that internal temptation within him. From these facts given to me by you, I can safely conclude that you believe that Jesus has the potential to do evil (but He simply chose not to act upon such dark thoughts). In other words, if you quote a passage that says Jesus is not good and agree with another, you are saying Jesus is not good (Which means he is bad). If you say God creates evil directly, then that means Christ can create evil because Christ is God.

If you do not believe Jesus had the potential to do evil, then we are in agreement and we can end this debate right now and hug, my friend. If I have gotten these facts wrong, then please re-clarify and explain it to me (So that I am not led to the wrong conclusion you have said so far).

So you should respect your elders when they are yelling at you wrongfully and not showing any love or respect? Okay.

As for one's betters: We are all nothing. The Scriptures say that if we think we are something when we are nothing, we deceive ourselves. Only God (Christ) deserved all the glory, honor, and power. For the least shall be the greatest. Meaning, those who are humble and serve others and love others are the greatest in the Kingdom of God. Not those who are puffed up and who desire to be right.

No I didn't and still lying...I agreed that JESUS said to the man WHY CALLEST THOU ME GOOD...you are nothing more than one who twists and lies Jason...you constantly attribute things not said and or implied unto those who disagree with you as well as God and the word so keep on denying truth and see where it gets you!

Dear DC:

In addition,, the thread's title says what I feel. I do not believe Jesus could potentially do evil or sin. He did not have the capacity to do evil because He is God and He is good. After several posts in defense of my position of the Thread Title, I was attacked verbally by you with you saying that I was adding to the Word of God in Post #13. This also leads me to the conclusion that you were against what the actual thread Title said - Which was that Jesus could not be tempted to do evil or sin. Do you agree with the thread title that Jesus could not do evil or sin?
