I've heard this phrase bandied about by dispensationalists... is that what you are? Where is that term used, anywhere in the New Testament?
Y'know, I am a Jew in the flesh. Was I chosen before I became Chosen in Christ? Was that some special "chosen ness" that I had that you didn't? Or perhaps you imagine that I have the idea that I get a plot of land over there as some "natural" right by geneology? And if I was "chosen" before Receiving Christ, why did I receive Christ?? Can someone be "chosen" and NOT be in Christ? Like my Jewish family who hates him for instance?
Have you ever stopped to think about this?
I was broke off. You and I've both been grafted in by faith. Anyone who has received Christ is grafted into Israel by faith. There is NO OTHER GOSPEL. No Other Israel. The OLD Israel/Jerusalem is the reality of how we should always be looking at things;
(Gal 4:23)
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
(Gal 4:24)
Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
(Gal 4:25)
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
(Gal 4:26)
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. (CHRISTIANS).
(Gal 4:27)
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
(Gal 4:28)
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
(Gal 4:29)
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
(Gal 4:30)
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son (fleshly Israel): for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
(Gal 4:31)
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
(1Co 15:50)
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Bride you can label me what you will.I already know many Jews don't accept Christ as savior. And they wont until the anti Christ comes and they realize the mistake they made.Jews have been persecuted and forced out of one country and another many times by "Christians" with Jesus name on their lips. They have been labeled Christ killers and have been rounded up and over 6 million of them killed for it.So yes I can see why some would hate Christians.
If you are truly a Jew then yes,you were of a chosen people before you came to Christ.God made a covenant with Israel, the earthly Israel, that He hasnt broken. And yes I have thought about it.
Lastly as to the Jews right to the land I will simply give this link....Israel's Right to the Land
