Israel Government has an obligation to protect her people. After Israel and her citizens sustain 1000's of rounds of rocket fire from Hamas.
Some of the citizens rejoice watching the Israeli military finally go on the offensive to protect Israel. Seems like some very expected behavior to me. America was the same way after 9/11
Israel uses Rockets to protect their people. Hamas uses People to protect its rockets.
indiscriminate crimes against
civilians. a first world military against people trapped in a deplorable strip of land - women; old men and children, not to mention young men who are
not violent activists. are you saying the kids and women deserved it?
do you believe innocent Iraqi civilians deserve to be burned; bombed; tortured; made homeless, etc at the hands of
Americans who rushed to Iraq after 911, based on a lie? DID YOU CHEER AND POST SUCH THINGS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
are you actually claiming against all evidence (documented and admitted by Israelis themselves), that Israeli is
not committing war crimes and genocide? that's really the only question re - this thread.
i find it disturbing the number of ppl contributing who say they love Jesus, yet with what sounds like malice and hatred toward people Jesus would have saved - have no sign whatsoever of shock (at Israeli glee) or sympathy (for innocent civilians).
Journalist
David Sheen reported for Mondoweiss last week about the
“terrifying tweets of pre-army Israeli teens.” After searching on Twitter using the Hebrew word for “Arabs,” Sheen found dozens upon dozens of Israeli youths “proclaiming their desire for all Arabs to die and in some cases be tortured to death.”
- “What an orgasm to see the Israeli Defense Forces bomb buildings in Gaza with children and families at the same time. Boom boom.
- “Gaza, Gaza a graveyard!”
- “Sweet settlers, next time you kidnap an Arab boy, call me and let me torture him!! Why do you get to have all the fun?”
- “Feels like Kristallnacht (a pogrom against Jews throughout Nazi Germany and Austria on 9–10 November 1938, carried out by SA paramilitary forces)” - palestinian student Abu Toameh falsely accused; arrested and interrogated by IDF
Deep-seated racismThis hate speech and incitement is not limited to fringe groups and individuals.
As Electronic Intifada contributor and award-winning author
Max Blumenthal demonstrates in his recent book Goliath: Life and Loathing in Greater Israel, deep-seated racism is pervasive throughout Israeli institutions and society.
Moshe Feiglin, the deputy speaker of Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, called for Israel to cut off all electricity to the Gaza Strip. “The blood of a dialysis patient in Gaza is not redder than the blood of our IDF soldiers who will, God forbid, need to enter [Gaza],” he said
And just one day before the kidnapping and murder of Muhammad Abu Khudair by Israeli youth, lawmaker Ayelet Shaked, a senior figure in the Habeyit Hayehudi (Jewish Home) political party, posted a Facebook “status” calling for genocide against “the entire Palestinian people.”
please just answer from the heart, Trailblazer - do you think this is very expected (reasonable) behavior?
are you worried it makes you sound antisemitic to condemn this?
does it?
