We might as well just drop the subject, because you're not seeking truth here. Just confirmation. Studying the Bible becomes pointless if you're close-minded about your beliefs. You need to accept the truth when it's shown to you, and not try to come up with irrational explanations for the parts you don't like.

The only 2 human beings in the Bible that were created are Adam and Eve. Everyone else was born. So it doesn't make sense to say the king of Tyre was created.

The King of Tyre was never in the Garden of Eden. That garden was closed off after Adam and Eve left it, and no human being was ever allowed to reenter it. The serpent however, was in the Garden of Eden.

The king of Tyre is not a cherub. A cherub has wings. I know this because there are 2 cherubs on the Ark of the Covenant, and they use their wings to cover the mercy seat.

Nay, I have told you the truth. Confirmation comes not from any man, no, not even angels. Confirmation comes from the God alone for the scripture is God-breathed.

"How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying." 1Cor.14:26

Aye indeed. So back in the parallels and comparisons of Absalom and the King of Tyre's stories this is why a goodly parallel to notice is between King David and God and how they dealt with both these characters. Just like God was both strong in prevailing over the King of Tyre, so too was David strong in dealing with Absalom. Likewise just as David did not take any pleasure in the death of Absalom, nor does God take pleasure in the death of the wicked as seen by the fact the prophet was instructed to lament over the King of Tyre, and also clearly stated elsewhere in the book of Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 18:23

[SUP]23 [/SUP]Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

Ezekiel 33:11

[SUP]11 [/SUP]Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Aye indeed, so take my correction. Nevertheless I will not call you stupid nor imply it, but study the Bible and prove all things.

K. What is your correction? You've peaked my interest now. If Satan is an animal, why is he called the god of this world and the prince of the power of the air? Why are there so many warnings in the NT to guard ourselves against his influence?

The verse you draw upon answers those questions pretty well.

2 Corinthians 4:4

[SUP]4 [/SUP]In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Consider how this even proves the more that the title "lucifer", which means lightbringer, is not applicable to the dragon since he is the enemy of the light. By calling the dragon by the title "lightbringer" one is inadvertently praising him. So can you see why I must speak up and not let you all do such a thing? The true lightbringer is Jesus for both in the beginning of things the light was made by him and at the end Jesus shall bring the true dawn, the light shining eternal, and he himself is also the light.

I would think it very obvious the reasons why we should guard ourselves, and also eachother, from the dragon. For by only three subtle lies the dragon deceived the entire world, even all of humanity that rested in the loins of Adam in the Garden of Eden. Yea, all of us were there. In that way mankind sadly handed over his dominion and authority over this current world to that old serpent. Nevertheless, the guile of the enemy is brought to nought by the crucifixion and resurrection of the Christ, Jesus, and the promise of his return.

I'll suffer the insults and slander to give this correction, for I do not want any of the CC folk to be deceived and devoured. Though some will be. Trully the watchman must warn or else he is guilty of blood. Understand nothing of this is even to my credit, and I do not mean it for any credit to myself, or elsewise my correction is to no effect. No man can even trully claim credit for what is written in the Bible since scripture is God-breathed, therefore all the thanks be to God whom gives wisdom and knowledge, salvation and truth.

First of all, it was not my intention to slander or insult you. I apologize if you came to that concusion. I like how you don't "go with the flow". Most people just blindly believe whatever is popular or commonly accepted, instead of studying for themselves.

So Lucifer actually refers to the messiah, and not Satan? Can you explain how that is compatible with lucifer being hurled down to earth for trying to exalt his throne above God's? I don't see how that is compatible with Yeshua.

Why do you pretend Satan has not been called an angel of darkness? Your deceptions are transparent.

Lucifer is just an adjective, not a name. It means lightbringer or dawn bringer or morning star. The use of the term dawnbringer, lightbringer, and morning star is attributed to many figures in the Bible.

Show me in the Bible where it says that clearly and directly.

Show me in the Bible where it says clearly and directly that Satan or the Devil (all the titles he is identified by) is an angel.

The Bible only says clearly and directly that Satan is that old serpent, a dragon (Genesis 3, Revelation 12, Revelation 20).

There is no light in him, that I have all ready said. Therefore you should not call the dragon "lightbringer." Howbeit that you are deceived into slandering me and praising the devil? I forgive you, go and study the Bible and believe what is written therein.

This video is from Restored Church of God, which is an Armstrongite cult.

They teach a lot of bad doctrine including denying the salvation of others outside of their group, and the necessity of keeping the Saturday Sabbath, holy days, and clean/unclean meat laws for salvation. They deny the Trinity doctrine.

They also teach that they are Gods in embryonic form, to be born as full fledged God beings in the resurrection.

It is a cult that originated with the teachings of Herbert Armstrong. The guy who posted this video follows their bad theology.

You can hear every single scripture about Satan from the Packman. I really like this vid, beacause it shows how the book of Job actually takes place before Adam and Eve were created, and how he was made the ruler of Earth before the rebellion.

I want you to know, I'm also big about testing everything, and being skeptical about what's popular. But Satan being an angel/cherub is undeniable.
