The story of the Tower of Babel is part of "our" "primordial history" (Genesis chapters 1-11), it is actually a collection of myths about the origin of the world, humanity and human culture - prior to the long story of the people of Israel, which begins with the forefather Abraham in Genesis 12 (originally Abram of Ur of Caldean (1813-1638 – married 1788))
But Chaldea is not believed to exist before about 1200 BC
Chaldea | Babylonian, Mesopotamian, Sumerian | Britannica
The Tower of Babel (build 1765 BC) is thus included as a motif in a mythical story about how humanity collectively sought to anchor their unity by founding a single city.
(1765 BC, is according to Chabad)

-It is necessary to remember one essential point!
- It was a different time with different people and a different mentality!
- The Hebrew language is basic compared to Ancient Greek which is probably the richest language in the world!
- People usually forget that that's why the majority will never understand the Bible!

Whether there have been one or more Trinitarian gods before cannot change the origin of the Christian version.

- Everywhere in the Bible there is a continuous fight between human tradition and Yah.weh’s word!

- The devil has been at work right at the beginning!

- Yah.weh said, you will die, the devil said you won’t die and guess what they died!

- Through human history it has always been the same!

- Religion usually say, you won’t die, it doesn’t matter what you do!

- But life is not a right, we have to work for it!

- We have to show our faithfulness to Yah.weh!

- No faithfulness to Yah.weh, no future life!

- You can take any biblical book, it is the same, it is a fight between human tradition and Yah.weh’s word!

- Job is telling Yah.weh’s word, the three men tell about the devil’s word!

- Job keeps warning them, they don’t listen!

- With Daniel it’s exactly the same!

- Human’s tradition vs Yah.weh’s word!

- With Samuel it’s exactly the same!

- Yah.weh has left the country!

- Yah.weh is the king of Israel but the Hebrews want a human king!

- Samuel can’t believe it and warns them!

- But Yah.weh says to let them have their human king and they will pay the price!

- They started rejecting Yah.weh from the beginning!

- They have never been his people!

- And religions keep corrupting Yah.weh’s word because they don’t come from him but from the god of this world!

Corruption, I guess, existed long before the OT was written down from oral traditions between 900 and 500 BCE.

There have been and still are countless gods around the world -
However, the very first omnipotent god and therefore written with a capital G, God, was Akhenaten's Athos.
Next was YHWH the oldest known YHWH is from c 860 BC and is seen on the Mesha stele.
The Triune God, the idea behind it is from ca. year 100 AD, but does not become a reality until 325 AD, at the Synod of Nicaea.

- About corruption!

- As I said right at the beginning, the devil, Adam, Eve, you shall not die and they died!

- And religion keeps repeating the same credo!

- Then we get Cain and Abel: One bad and one good! (Genesis chapter 4)

- Corruption evolved like a pandemia!

- Yah.weh warned Cain to change his attitude but he didn’t listen as men usually do!

- In Genesis chapter 4 we are also told about Lamech who married two women ( we may remember Yah.weh said one) and he killed a young man who had wounded him and he made a song of his action!

- Once again corruption but it is everywhere from the beginning!

- Wherever we go, we can see how corrupt men are!

- We can add men away from Yah.weh!

- Faithfulness is something essential!

- But as everything is corrupt, it is also important to get away from corruption if we don’t want to share responsibility!

- Then in Genesis 4:26, we are told about the birth of Enosh and it was when men began to call upon the name of Yah.weh!

- Thus we get corruption all the time and from time to time men start to remember that Yah.weh is there!

- So if we want to understand the Bible we must take corruption as the basis!

- If we want to be accepted by Yah.weh we must take corruption as the basis!

- If we want to be accepted by Yah.weh we must glorify God's only name which is Yah.weh!

- If we don’t do it we can’t be accepted by Yah.weh!

- There is only one way, Yah.weh’s way, not man’s way!

- If we follow man’s way as everybody does it, we can’t be accepted by Yah.weh!

- It is as simple as that!

- In Genesis 5, we are told about men who can live a bit less than 1,000 years!

- Then we are told about Enoch who walked with Yah.weh and he lived 365 years which is quite different from the other men!

- And it is said it was because Yah.weh took him!

- We can imagine it was a kind of protection because the situation was too bad, too much corruption!

- And then we arrive at Noah!

- Then Yah.weh takes a very different decision!

- Or maybe it is not so different in the case of Enoch because in a way he took him from mankind by bringing the flood to the earth and destroying mankind!

- The only difference was a new start for mankind!

- In Genesis chapter 6, we are told about angels who went down the earth and married women!

- They would take as many as they could!

- Their sons were giants who took advantage of their strength!

- Of course, it brought more corruption on earth!

- Yah.weh decided to put an end to human society!

- So he wanted to destroy the majority and saved a minority!

- Here we are told about Noah and his family!

- So few people for such a big mankind!

- It tells about corruption!

- But it was in the past!

- Corruption has kept growing and growing that it stinks corruption everywhere.

- But men are used to it!

- They like it, they need it, it’s their spiritual food!

- Yah.weh goes one way, they go the opposite!

- They can only follow their god, the devil!

Genesis 6:9

Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God.

Genesis 6:11

Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God and full of violence.

Genesis 6:12

And God looked upon the earth and saw that it was corrupt; for all living creatures on the earth had corrupted their ways.

Genesis 6:13

Then God said to Noah, “The end of all living creatures has come before me, because through them the earth is full of violence. Now behold, I will destroy both them and the earth.”

Genesis 6:17

“And behold, I will bring floodwaters upon the earth, to destroy every creature under the heavens that has the breath of life. Everything on the earth will perish.

Genesis 6:22

So Noah did everything precisely as God had commanded him.

- Now the question is: is there a difference between the situation before the flood and nowadays?

- I don’t see any!

- On the contrary, today we have become masters of corruption!

- We can produce corruption of every type!

- What is the conclusion of such a situation?

- Time has come to put an end to this human society which can only demonstrate corruption!

- We eat and drink and breathe corruption!

- Yah.weh must clean the earth again from corruption!

- It is not going to be the last time!

- There will be a period of 1,000 years and corruption will come again to put a definite end to corruption!

- Definitely hard work!

- But that’s the price of free will!

- Do you see the difference with Noah!

- So Noah did everything precisely as God had commanded him!

- Another faithful servant of Yah.weh who shows us the way to Yah.weh!

- Now think about today!

- It smells really bad!

- In Genesis chapter 9, Yah.weh tells Noah that every creature on earth will fear men!

- Yah.weh gives animals as food to eat for men!

- Which means it wasn’t the case before!

- Which means that one day men and animals will leave in peace without fear!

- Let’s have a look at Genesis 9:4

But
אַךְ־ (’aḵ-)
Adverb
Strong's 389: A particle of affirmation, surely

you must not
לֹ֥א (lō)
Adverb - Negative particle
Strong's 3808: Not, no

eat
תֹאכֵֽלוּ׃ (ṯō·ḵê·lū)
Verb - Qal - Imperfect - second person masculine plural
Strong's 398: To eat

meat
בָּשָׂ֕ר (bā·śār)
Noun - masculine singular
Strong's 1320: Flesh, body, person, the pudenda of a, man

with its lifeblood
בְּנַפְשׁ֥וֹ (bə·nap̄·šōw)
Preposition-b | Noun - feminine singular construct | third person masculine singular
Strong's 5315: A soul, living being, life, self, person, desire, passion, appetite, emotion

[still] in it.
דָמ֖וֹ (ḏā·mōw)
Noun - masculine singular construct | third person masculine singular
Strong's 1818: Blood, of man, an animal, the juice of the grape, bloodshed

- Just stop for a minute and think of that!

- Who still follows this commandment from Yah.weh?

- Another proof that all mankind is corrupt without discussion!

- Now think about faithfulness!

- What’s left?

- Man is really good at nothing!

- now listen to religious leaders!

- What for?

- They are corrupt like the rest of mankind!

- In Genesis chapter 11, we are after the flood, Yah.weh told Noah and his family to fill the earth!

- And what do men decide to do?

- Right at the new beginning, they decide to oppose Yah.weh by staying together building a big and high city!

- They are still one people with one language!

- They keep putting their future and the future of their sons in danger!

- Thus men always want to oppose Yah.weh!

- They are ready to pay the consequences and they have always been paying them!

- They will never understand!

- They are stubborn without limits!

- As a consequence, Yah.weh confuses their language to force them to fill the earth!

- Everywhere we can see the same biblical expressions!

- It is not possible to make mistakes except if we want to do them voluntarily!

- Always the same free will!

- That’s a personal choice!

- It’s really tiring!

- So many baby boys!

- In Genesis chapter 12, we are told about Abraham!

- Yah.weh tells him to leave his land and his relatives and he will make a great nation of him!

- So Abraham goes with his family to Canaan!

- And Yah.weh tells him that he will give the land to his descendants!

- Then a famine arises so Abraham must go to Egypt!

- And Yah.weh will protect him and his family!

- There is no one like Abraham in the Bible!

- On the one hand, man’s corruption, on the other hand, Abraham’s faithfulness!

- Such a complete opposition!

- Abraham’s faithfulness shines among the darkness of men!

- it is incredibly violent, totally insane!

- Man’s faithfulness is incredibly rare, thus incredibly precious, thus incredibly unbelievable!

- When you usually listen to men, you hear the same usual unfaithfulness!

- It is everywhere, contaminating everything!

- And men are not ashamed of it!

- They spread it like venom!

- That’s why we get corruption everywhere!
