I am new to all this and would like to give my thoughts without being attacked too harshly.

Many chose to enter this domain with similar desires and intentions. I wish you luck and I pray for you to have the skill to lead the way to accomplishing what you would like...without being...

did the OT saints not know their scriptures? do you think they didn't know God had promised a Redeemer?

every person ever saved has believed that promise.
Not everyone all throughout history who believes Jesus Christ is the redeemer is of the elect.

Put up the plastic sheets to protect against pies that will become projectiles.

Even if you promise beheading you'll still be cleaning the walls.

Sounds creative.

An underground railroad engineer tells all the slaves that he operates a way of escape to freedom if they are interested while the slave master promises certain death if they should attempt to follow him. Conclusion: Neither of these have given them anything near a choice, everybody knows that.

are correct. I should have said possible evidence. You still missed my question. What does it mean to wait upon the Lord?
Waiting on the Lord is like what a waiter does waiting on diners. It's keeping an eye on them so as to serve their needs when those needs are made known.

In the Genesis narrative there are only two seeds. And both of those are spiritual seeds since the devil cannot produce physical offspring. But he has gazillions of spiritual offspring, such as the Pharisees were.

Also, there is no such thing as the "seed of God". In Luke's genealogy it's noteworthy that Christ did not descend from Adam, rather Adam "descended" (was created by) the Son of God. And this is true because the Father created all things through his Son. So the genealogy is telling us that the Last Adam created the First Adam.
Jesus says the word of God is seed, and Peter calls it incorruptible seed. Now whose ignoring the whole counsel of God? Jesus also says satan sows tares. Why do you feel obliged to deny the obvious four seeds in Genesis 2- 4?

Augustine was a good Manachaean gnostic dressed in Christian rhetoric. He considered the physical evil and considered that having the right metaphysical propositions, i.e. the right gnosis, was what saves.
Yes, tis true, unfortunately his teachings are still ubiquitous, this thread being a prime example.

And yet, I see people working hard via books and other platforms dismantling the damage he has caused.

This is correct.

The simplicity of the gospel message that tells people to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, is significantly distorted by the idea that people are called to do something they’re incapable of doing.

These verses Joshua 24:15, Isaiah 1:18–20, Acts 17:30, and others cause a measure of timidity in the hearts of even some committed Calvinists.
After all, it can’t be easy to trust, let alone worship a god who asks people to believe in him when he himself predestined them not to believe.

Yes, and the unbeliever also very simply says, why should I believe what some of you tell me I cannot believe?

Yes, and the unbeliever also very simply says, why should I believe what some of you tell me I cannot believe?
An entire system in contradiction to the words of Christ Jesus.

"I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.

He actually would have had to preface everything He stated with...... "Hear ye Hear ye ....for the Elect Only"

Or Calvinist Jesus should have stated...

"I tell you the truth, unless GOD changes you/pricks your ears/changes your heart and you become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever is humbled by God like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.

The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh
is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot
please God. You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you.
And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you,
your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.

Dismissing the human spirit renders him to a subspecies of human. I'm not comfortable doing that toward one create in the image of God whose breath of life, the ruach (spirit), is within. This may distinct from the spirit of Christ, but no less a spirit, iyam.

But Paul said there was no good thing in his flesh. And Jesus clearly taught that no mere mortal is good -- but only God alone. So, if no human being is intrinsically good, then this can only mean he's evil; for there is no middle ground between Good and Evil.
Note! Paul did not say that there is no good thing is in his soul.
The fallen flesh which influences the soul we inherited from Adam is the problem.

Has God solved the problem?

Yes... for those who listen, perceive, and understand God's word as they walk in the Spirit. .
The solution?
GRACE!

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may
rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

How do we maintain walking in grace after we slip up and enter into some sin causing a short circuit with God?

We reset the circuit breaker by obeying what we read in 1 John 1:9.

If we acknowledge/confess our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

Arrogance and internalized anger cuts us right off...

grace and peace .........

If Jesus died for a few then that would be unfair to the rest of the people!! NO Jesus died for ALL people! ALL people make the choice! To BELIEVE OR NOT to BELIEVE! Remember!!! (Acts 10:34 and Romanas 2:11-16!!)

Nobody is born without hope, and that there is even a suggestion that some might be seems counterintuitive to the gospel message! If I would be allowed to provide only one directive in summary of good advice for life, I would say, "If you do nothing else, make sure you die in Christ!"
