The same way God spoke creation into being: God spoke, Jesus went forth and the Holy Spirit finished the work. I can't understand why so many do not understand the virgin birth. All God has to do, is speak the word(which is Jesus), and the Holy Spirit does the work.
Yea, I can't understand why so many do not understand the virgin birth either!! What people are saying is that God miraculously put "tainted" seed into Mary making Jesus the "imperfect" lamb of God - How can that be???? Jesus was the second Adam - the first Adam made the choice to sin and brought sin and death into the world through his disobedience - the second Adam made the choice to obey and through his obedience he brought righteousness and life to those who believe in him.

Come on now, he is a descendant of David. That's why God chose Mary and not someone from another lineage. Please don't take offence, but some of you are speaking like children. You should understand the virgin birth. He had to come in to that certain people. He is God and God alone. Mary's seed would have made him unholy. Our souls are like filthy rags. He could not have been a part of Mary. It would have made him dirty. She raised him so she was his mother. No other woman could have been his mother. He was sent to Mary.
I don't get offended at opposing views but when you resorted to calling me the devil then that was offensive.

I already posted Bible translations showing Jesus shared our fallen sinful human nature yet He never sinned. If you won't accept the Bible then there is no use having dialogue with you. You are just going to get back into personal attacks because you don't have Scripture to fight for you.

You have no Biblical evidence to support your claim that if Jesus was like us IN EVERY WAY (Heb 2:17) not most ways, that He would not be the perfect sacrifice.
Hebrews 2:17 doesn't say what you think it says. Jesus was not made like us in every way to include a sin nature. Apart from that he was in every way like us.

Whereupon, he owed according to all to be likened to the brethren, that he should become a merciful and trustworthy high priest in the things towards God, so as to atone the sins of the people. Hebrews 2:17

The bible is full of evidence that inheritance came through the father and was given to sons. Wives were considered part of a man's inheritance.
What if the father was poor, he had no sinful nature to pass on? The fact is the sinful nature is in both men and women to pass on to their children. Death has passed to EVERYONE Ro 5:12 includes Jesus since He died.

Luke 1: 34 - 35Mary said to the angel, "How will this happen since I am a virgin?
35; The angel said to Mary, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the most high will cover you. For this reason the baby will be holy and will be called the son of God.
That is why the baby was holy, because he would not be from the seed of man, but of God and God alone. The baby was connect to Mary by the umbilical cord. And the umbilical cord does not sure the same blood. A babies blood type comes from the mother and fathers seed.
But you're making an assumption that GOD planted an embryo in her womb, rather than fertilized one of her eggs.

You have confused, contradictory thoughts going on. Women don't have seed; they have eggs, and soul is not flesh. And the idea that flesh is dirty comes from gnostic dualism.

Not saying that at all. I'm saying Mary was tainted and that is why Jesus could share in our tainted human nature and die on the cross.

If Adam wouldn't have had the sin nature, he couldn't have sin. It had to have been there for him to sin. Jesus had that same sin nature with in him so that he could be tempting on all counts and over come them all, and not sin for the cross to be accomplished.
You're saying that GOD created Adam with a sin nature. Again, the only way that works is if you are equating free will with sin nature.

If Adam did not have a sin nature he would not of been able to sin. Because sin would not have been in him. He would have been like the angels. The angels either serve or not serve. Not to serve is to sin for the angels.
You still don't get it. One third of the angels -- along with Lucifer -- also sinned.

Both men and angels were created as free moral agents -- not with the sin nature but with the capacity to sin. Only the descendants of Adam have a corrupted sin nature, therefore all humans are subject to death.

...and why Jesus was subject to death because He had the corrupted sin nature yet He never sinned.

What I will tell you is, the people who believe Jesus is 50% or 100% Mary are Catholics, they pray to her. They have made her an idol. And Jehovah's witness. They believe that he was just a man. I just ask you to pray and ask God yourself about the virgin birth. God and God alone was made flesh and walked on this earth. He had to have a way to come. And he chose Mary. He had to die to save Mary also, because she was also born in sin. And if any of her seed was mixed in with his, he would have been tainted. I'll let you be.

Define the sinful nature for me. You can't because you don't know what it is. All you can do regurgitate what others say without understanding. Death passed to all men because all men inherit Adam's dead spiritual nature.

No, he willing let men kill him. A man that can raise a 3-day-dead person could have kept keep himself from dying if he so chose.

You know what I meant. Why the diversion?
well that explains it. That's why you believe that Jesus is half Mary. Being half Mary would make him dirty just as we are. And he's not. He is God and God alone, without spot or winkle. He just chose Mary.

That's right. Your thinking earthy. God is spiritual. He don't need a seed. He made Adam from the dust.

The Bible says that Mary conceived in her womb, not that she received Jesus as an embryo.

Do you understand conception?

This conversation is going in circles, and the booster seems to be a few verses in one particular translation. Perhaps the solution is to focus on those verses, comparing them to other translations.

While I am not going to judge any particular translation pre-emptively, I will remind all readers that no translation is perfect, and some are far less perfect than others.

Mary was not "tainted" - she was a virgin - no man had KNOWN her - that is why she was chosen.

Jesus took part of "flesh and blood" . . . that is what he took part of. If he had "tainted" human sinful nature - he could not have been our perfect sacrifice - the Lamb of God.

Why don't you answer my question instead of all of these diversions? Explain why Jesus couldn't be GOD being made from Mary's egg.

Your thoughts about dirty flesh are gnostic in character.
