Jesus was NEVER a hypocrite
so saying that Jesus have a sin nature somehow implies the possible hypocrisy of ...
... in short, Jesus is free from all possible sin nature, therefore a man of perfect morality

consider this, Jesus dying on the cross demonstrates perfect selflessness
even in John 8, the Pharisees tried to trap Jesus, but Jesus was still sinless
The sin nature has nothing to do with morality. It is a non moral condition we are born with as a result if Adam's sin. Sinning makes one a sinner not having the human sin nature.

#1 - the first Adam failed - he was tempted - REALLY tempted - but he gave in to the temptation - sin and death entered
#2 - the second Adam conquered sin and death - he was tempted - REALLY tempted, i.e. after 40 days of fasting Jesus was HUNGRY - the first temptation was to turn stones into bread - VERY TEMPTING - but he did not give in to the temptation - therefore conquering sin in the flesh - and being resurrected - he conquered death.

Is it a sin to be tempted? NO . . . Was there a possibility that Jesus would give in to the temptation just as Adam did? Yes, but he didn't. That is the whole point of "he suffered being tempted so that he is able to succor them that are tempted". If Jesus couldn't have sinned in the first place, he wasn't really tempted and if he wasn't really tempted how can he succor (help or aid)those that are tempted because he never went through it himself yet scripture tells us that he suffered being tempted so that he is able to succor them that are tempted.

It most certainly does mean absolutely "all" humanity since absolutely everyone was in the loins of Adam when he sinned.
The Son of man Jesus is not of the line or generation of Adam but rather the generation of Christ the unseen who do think the kingdom of God comes by observation . The generation of Christ ended the genealogy of the temporal one. The spiritual seed.... Christ . It was typified as beginning with Abraham but the same spiritual seed that represented the gospel with Abel , slew by his brother who did not walk by faith the unseen eternal , never about the flesh of any man .Even Jesus as the Son of man said that which is seen(flesh) it profits for nothing .

We do not wrestle after flesh and blood (the temporal things seen). as in another gospel, another Christ. We are not infallibly informed by flesh and blood. (Daysman) God is not a man as us, a creation.

When called "good master" knowing no man can serve two masters (the flesh sen and the spirit not seen ) even the Son of man gave glory to the father unseen and replied only God (not seen) is good . scripture define what is good by Him not seen

Its the devil that would have seek after signs and wonder before we beleive . the show men and I will beleive as in out of sight out of mind used to destroy the gospel of Christ, as it is written .

Why go above that which is written?

The book of the "generation of Jesus Christ", the son of David, the son of Abraham.Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;Mathew 1:1-2

The generation of Adam....the evil generation (beginning) of natural unconverted man

Luke 11:29And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.

Wrong, Jesus is a descendant of Adam through Mary His mother. It says so right there in the Bible.

I believe salvation is permanent, but I certainly do not believe it's "okay I can sin".
Good for you. OSAS as it is called is what Jesus died to deliver to the world. While his teaching that those who are in Christ do not sin and those who make a habit of sinning have never known God , stands.

Who here do you think believes THAT?
Matthew 13.:sneaky:At this point this blasphemous roller coaster operator is getting a lot of encouragement to take the ride at an even more rapid speed of blasphemy. They're not someone who can understand the scriptures and care not to be taught how because Christ is not in them.

Is it charity to keep inviting such a lost person to keep waving their fist at Heaven and reveal more and more their own damned state? They're entertaining themselves for 53 pages being as vulgar as they can be. Aren't we to lead people to Christ? Not follow the damned to the abyss?

Really? Is that what you think?

I, and apparently you, disagree with him on this topic, but I'm not about to say he's damned.

I called you on this type of behavior a few days ago and you got your panties in a bunch, somehow trying to put the blame on me.

Own your judgmentalism.

Your sexism and hatred are sins. You've no place to judge anyone who is in Christ.

Scripture tells those in Christ that we are to exercise judgment. You just did. And we are to judge not based on appearances but using righteous judgment.
Someone who goes to the lengths the blasphemer who started this thread has to insist God was just a guy, and is escalating in their insults levied at the holy spirit and God ask to be judged. You disagree with them on this point? Their point is blasphemy. The unforgivable sin.
I judge them because for 53 pages they insist it be done. Entertaining that which relishes in insulting the scriptures isn't charity. It's enabling damnation to occupy the saint to defend what is incredibly clear in that the blasphemer has no intention of learning they're wrong. They relish being wrong. They also relish watching people of God try to change their closed mind.

Now, they've got you spewing sexist remarks and venom from the pit at a Christian woman and in defense of an unrepentant proud blasphemer of the holy spirit.

You've likely made their day. What a tragedy you don't choose to use discernment and better judgment than to entertain that which has no respect for the Lord.

I apologize for my "sexist" comment.

I stand behind the rest of what I said.

You are really off the deep end saying I am a blasphemer. The hypostatic union is not blasphemy (100% God and 100% Man). You seem to think Jesus was 0% Man. Now that is heresy.

You're not right.

Jesus did not inherit the sin nature that all the rest of us have. If he had, Jesus himself would need saving.
Your opinion is not the point there. I challenge you to read those pages from the AOG Sys Theo I uploaded and tell me if I am interpreting them correctly or not.

There is nothing I could read outside of the Bible that could convince me Jesus had the sin nature the rest of us have, and the Bible does not say that he did. There is a reason for the virgin birth.

But if I get bored... maybe I'll have a look.

I know. You doubled-down, further attacking him and accusing me.

It's not your place to say many of the things you did about DevotiontoBible. His salvation is between him and God.

Have a great night!
DtB's own words accuse them. Don't play the victim. You're not one.
