Isn't he gorgeous?
Amazing creature certainly, with an amazing look, I agree, for Yah has created an amazing earthly balance.

but for yummies no way.

Lev 11:47, "To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten."

If all things are food, Would you eat one of these? (a lamphrey?)

Luke 11:41King James Version (KJV)

41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

this verse has nothing to do with food
"All" things are all things, including food.
How about bestiality? Is that clean? That is a part of all things.
I should have been more clear.

I was not referring to moral defilement, but to those things specifically categorized
as ceremonially "clean" and "unclean,"
food, persons (sexual intercourse, childbirth, skin diseases, bodily discharges),
garments (destructive mildew), houses (mildew).

All things previously ceremonially "unclean" are now clean to us.

See Ro 1:26-28 regarding sexual perversion.
Hmmm, bestiality is not mentioned in this. This is limited to homosexuality. This is an oblique reference at best.
Here is a more direct reference that you reject...

Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

You and I and many other people know that the word for rest here is Sabbatismos and refers to keeping the Sabbath, yet if this reference is mentioned, you squall like a mashed cat.
So what is the connection between beastiality and the Sabbath?

no personal interpretations of prophetic riddles are certain and authoritative.

Therefore, with no basis for deciding differences on the points, a discussion would be pointless.

Likewise, I don't much engage in uncertain personal interpretation of prophetic riddles
and have little to offer regarding them.
I prefer to stay with certain and authoritative Scriptural teaching.
Your personal twists on the scripture are very interesting and obviously completely accurate. (tongue in cheek)
Have you Biblically demonstrated them to be twists?

These were interesting verses to me in my studies...

Leviticus 15:31, "You must keep the children of Israyl aware of and separate from, things that make them unclean, so they will not die in their uncleanness BY DEFILING MY TABERNACLE which is among them."

Revelation 21:27, "But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life."

Isayah 65
"I am sought by those who did not ask for Me; I am found by those who did not seek Me. I said: Here I am, here I am, to a nation that was not called with My Name. I have spread out My hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way which is not right, after their own thoughts; devices; A people who provoke Me to anger continually to My face; who sacrifice in gardens, and burn incense on altars of brick; Who assemble and spend the night keeping memorials for the dead, who eat swine's flesh, and the broth of abominable things; unclean foods, is in their vessels, (Isayah 66:20, "And they shall bring all your brothers from all the nations as an offering to Yahweh, on horses and in chariots and in litters and on mules and on dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says Yahweh, just as the Israelites bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of Yahweh.") (back to Isayah 65) Who say; Stand by yourself! Do not come near me, for I am holier than you!" "These are a smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all the day. Behold, it is written before Me; I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom--Your iniquities and the iniquities of your fathers together, says Yahweh: who have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed Me upon the hills. Therefore I will measure their former work into their bosom. This is what Yahweh says: As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says; Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it; so will I do for My servants' sake, that I may not destroy them all. And I will bring forth a seed out of Yaaqob, and out of Yahdah an inheritor of My mountains; and My elect will inherit it, and My servants will live there. Sharon will be a fold of flocks, and the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down, for My people who have sought Me. But you are those who forsake Yahweh, who forget My holy mountain, who prepare a table for that troop and who furnish a drink offering for that number. Therefore, I will number you for the sword, and you will all bow down to the slaughter, because when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not listen; but did evil in front of My eyes, and you chose that in which I did not delight. Therefore, this is what Yahweh our Father says: Behold, My servants will eat, but you will be hungry. Behold, My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, My servants will rejoice, but you will be ashamed. Behold, My servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and wail for vexation; grief, of spirit; And the names of your gods will remain as a trap; test, to My chosen; for Yahweh our Father will slay you, but he will give His servants a Name, that will remain forever; That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the power of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the power of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes. They have been adversaries from the beginning; therefore, they are hidden from My eyes. For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former will not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for behold, I create Yerusalem as a rejoicing, and her people a joy. I will rejoice in Yerusalem, and rejoice in My people; the voice of weeping will no longer be heard in her, nor the voice of crying. No longer will there be in it an infant of only a few days, nor an old man who does not fill out his life; for the child will die a hundred years old, but the sinner being one hundred years old will be accursed; burned. They will build houses, and inhabit them; they will plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They will not build, and another inhabit; they will not plant, and another eat; for as the days of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My elect will long enjoy the work of their hands. They will not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; destruction, for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahweh, and their offspring with them. It will come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb will feed together, the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent's food. They will not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain: says Yahweh."

Isayah 66:17, "They who sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens, following after the "priest in the midst" of those who eat swine's flesh, that which is offered to gods and the rodent--will be consumed together: says Yahweh."

During the 1,000 yr reign:

Zecharyah 14:16-21, "Then it will come to pass that everyone who survives of all the nations which came against Yerusalem, will also go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, by keeping the Feasts at The House of Yahweh. And it will be that if any families of the earth will not come up to Yerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, then upon them will be no rain. family of Egypt will not come up and present themselves, they also will have no water; they will receive the same plague with which Yahweh of hosts strikes the heathen who will not come up to keep the Feasts at The House of Yahweh. This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all nations that do not go up to keep the Feasts at The House of Yahweh. In that day there will even be engraved on the bells of the horses: Qodesh La-Yahweh; Holy to Yahweh; and the pots in Yahweh's House will be like the bowls before the altar. Yes, every pot in Yerusalem and Yahdah will be holy to Yahweh of hosts, so that all who sacrifice may come and take of them, and boil the meat of the sacrifices in them. And in that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in The House of Yahweh of hosts."

Yes, uncleanness today is all sin, which is what the OT ceremonial regulations of "clean and unclean" were to figuratively show.

You know there is something to be said about 'be led of the Spirit'. No one human is going to get everything ethched on parchment from Genesis to Revelation by mere mental study.
Did not the Spirit of Grace write His commands on the fleshly parts of the heart at the point of redemption in an individual's life?

Heres my walk with my Creator. If I am about to indulge something that is not pleasing to Him....bam, I get a red light, right from the Lord Himself.
Examples: if I attempt to witness to someone about the gospel and they are not ready, I immediately get the order to shut it down.
If they are ready, and Gods in it, I get the green light along with the anointing and peace of the Holy Spirit....full speed ahead.

Buying a car or house or simply walking into a particular place or location, or a hundred other circumstances, if it's not where He wants me to go, that still small voice never fails to guide me or stop me. Business dealings, people dealings, financial dealings or even entertainment dealings, He is always there to let me know one way or the other, red light or green light.

This comes through learning His voice and leading.

Having said all this, when it comes to what to eat or not eat, that is the question. I never in 40 years had the Holy Spirit speak to me about in particular kind of food to avoid. So you'd think if He can clearly lead me on all other details and aspects of life, and which He clearly does, then He would also stop me before that fork or spoon entered my mouth, if He had a problem with it.
Like tithing. He never told me that today's form of tithing was of Him. But being new to the faith, I succumbed to the constant drum beat of churchianity that I'd better pay the protection money or I'd be cursed. Always gave me a gut ache...or....a red light as it were. And I indeed was cursed....vexed....thrown into bondage, while believing all along that it was Gods command for the ekklesia.
I guess I digress...sorry. Point being this. We live this thing not by 'the law of the letter that killeth 'but by the Spirit of grace' that dwells within our heart. Every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God by His still small voice that abides in us.

So argue on on the finer points of the law. For Christ, (and grace)is the end of the law to them that believe. Rom.10:4

In context, Paul is not speaking of food.

He is speaking of the one temple, the church, the body of Christ, being defiled (corrupted, destroyed)
by factions and quarrels (3:2-4).
what utter nonsense the church has wheat and tares

I really enjoy the majority of this post a lot a lot.

I want to ask, have you ever felt a nudge not to eat "GMOs"

Not a trick question Im curious. I will speak the reply now, so as not to be a trick question.

IMO, that is IMO, the reason I personally try to avoid; GMOs are a corruption of HIS creation and terribly harmful to us and our potential offspring.

Hey Wordswordsman, Paul spoke of those who know the truth..which is contained in Torah.

If you think[SUP]3 [/SUP] Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

translates into..
All moving things, insects, snakes, armadillos, even the filthiest wild hog covered with mud and eating everything it can chew and swallow, was to be eaten. It's still so for all the world of people except by serious Jews who keep the diet God required of Jews, not ever Gentiles, certainly not Christians. Nothing that moves is off limits. That isn't to say some parts of some animals could kill you, like a pufferfish or stonefish. Well, they don't have scales, so Jews are safe.

???????????

...then all I got to say is why not include hemlock, poison ivy, deadly nightshade??? Obviously some things are not considered food, whether plant or animal. Clearly Noah had already been instructed as to clean and unclean, and unclean is not even classified as food for human consumption. God designed many of the unclean animals for the specific purpose of disposing of the earth's garbage.

Going back to the original diet for Adam and Eve….

Genesis 1:29-30 (KJV)
[SUP]29 [/SUP] And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
[SUP]30 [/SUP] And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

Let’s not make up doctrines supposedly taught in the Bible, or go against science knowledge of biology.
Notice man was initially given seed bearing flora for food (except the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil), but no flesh. Animals were allowed any green herb. After sinning God narrowed it down to a curse of having to till the cursed ground and eat the herbs of it.
Next we read of Cain being a farmer, tilling the ground, but Abel is a shepherd of sheep. From that time on people ate sheep as well as produce of the field and wild animals from the wilderness. I don’t know about when or why God began allowing flesh for food, unless it was after he slew animals to make coats of skin for Adam and Eve. IOW, I’d say God started the practice of killing animals for human use. That would have unleashed animals killing and eating animals and men. All of that is blamed on Adam’s sin
.

People survived by using common sense before eating stuff like poison ivy. A good survival training course teaches you to handle one day, and taste the next if there’s no rash. The old advice of choosing on the basis of animals grazing on it is bad. Many edible plants look like poison ivy that are edible for man. If a rash appears the next day, you know not to consume it. Birds eat the poisonous red berries, but men have learned to avoid red berries. Berries are fruit bearing seeds, originally allowed for food, but no more for some.

Hemlock (Conium mac.) was used in ancient times as a sedative and antispasmodic.6-8 leaves can cause death, though. Men learned not to stew a pot of it.

Note that everything God made in Genesis one was very good. Due to sin even nature has been distorted to allow plants and animals to rebel against man and other plants and animals.

Clean and unclean had to do with fitness for sacrifice, not health. The Bible doesn’t teach about any flesh being bad for health. Jesus made it clear there is no food going in the mouth that defiles us, but what comes out can, that is, evil speech. There is no way to take that and say he only meant kosher. It was obvious what he said offended the Pharisees, and Jesus didn’t back down.

Where does it say hogs "are for" eating garbage? I know many schools put leftover lunches in barrels for hog feeding (farmers supply the barrels, lids, and handling). But the fact is wild hogs love to eat up fields of corn, wheat, rice, soybeans, all precious human food. People have multiplied on earth eating pork in every generation. They are eating up a lot of forest plants, robbing deer of forage, etc. What about that diet is garbage?

“Clean” goats approved by the law eat garbage like hogs do. We had one that ate the new asphalt shingles off our root cellar lid. All the kitchen garbage went into a large pan that was always licked clean. We did that after feeding regular feed. Goats stay hungry full time. If we forgot to give out the garbage the goat would climb a tree and eat the bark of small branches.

Nobody, even orthodox Jews, ought to use the Bible to command Gentile Christians to eat only ritually clean animals. There is no Bible teaching that any animal flesh is bad for health. Yes, some has become poisonous after the fall of man. But we know the ancients had knowledge of which was dangerous, described in Plato concerning the death of Socrates, for instance. Many plants and animals, including insects, were long ago found to be good for medicine, though sometimes not edible as food.

Lev 11:47, "To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten."

If all things are food, Would you eat one of these? (a lamphrey?)

Lamprey pie is still made today and used to be considered a delicacy. So not sure why you would pick that as an example.

No, let's not make up doctrines, or state things we have no knowledge of. Your examples of goats and pigs aren't anymore relevant than my cat ate a cucumber out of the garden once.

Facts concerning the anatomy of animal digestive process, and foods they "normally" eat are easily found by any who want to know the truth, and the truth is more evident every day to those who will see.

Man's wildest imaginations can never equal the instructions already given by the Creator. If you crave things our Creator calls "abominations" that's between you and Him. I am in no way trying to force anything on anyone, only in your imagination. I thought we were having a "Bible Discussion".
