Is that a problem for you? My liberty in Christ is not swallow and spitting.. I have chosen to eat as described. If the law is full filled.. then I’m free to discern. Very content indeed.

You can’t have it both ways.. here is something for you to consider: Acts 15.. it advises the People about their diet.. also that the yolk Moses law..not be put around new believers.. Liberty in Christ. So, people are free to choose.
Exactly. Acts 15 does not "advise people about their diet"; it gives minimal requirements for Gentiles who are coming to Christ, making clear they are not under the Law of Moses.

Also, the word is "yoke", the shoulder bar of a plow assembly, not "yolk", the yellow part of an egg.

We are agreed; Christians are free in Christ to eat as they please. It just doesn't make sense to misinterpret the few verses of Scripture that do address diet with any claim they are instructive for health for everyone today.

Brothers and Sisters.. we are at Liberty in Christ and cannot keep the law of Moses! Only the Lord could and overcame it to be Victorious!! Praise the Almighty GOD.

It was all in place to prepare the way for our Lord! We have the New Testament and it does advise certain things from the Old… nothing is going to save you but Faith in the Lord Jesus. Son of GOD sent for our Salvation.

There is no requirement to eat this or that.. nothing can defile you. Acts 15 is advising.. no yolk for us.

The Good Shepherd is our Righteous path to GOD. No, other way to receive the Royal pardon.

In the meantime as we abide.. we are to discern for ourselves. I will now leave this chat. No striving. Enjoy your dinner, whatever you so choose.

I guess the "What a ridiculous question" angle eluded you. ;)[/QUOTE]

Apparently. So, my next question is why is it a ridiculous question?

Your question was, “According to the Spirit is committing murder a sin?”

I consider this a ridiculous question because the Scripture makes clear, both inside out outside of the Mosaic law, that murder is contrary to God’s will.

What about the other nine commandments?
