Is that a problem for you? My liberty in Christ is not swallow and spitting.. I have chosen to eat as described. If the law is full filled.. then I’m free to discern. Very content indeed.

You can’t have it both ways.. here is something for you to consider: Acts 15.. it advises the People about their diet.. also that the yolk Moses law..not be put around new believers.. Liberty in Christ. So, people are free to choose.
Exactly. Acts 15 does not "advise people about their diet"; it gives minimal requirements for Gentiles who are coming to Christ, making clear they are not under the Law of Moses.

Also, the word is "yoke", the shoulder bar of a plow assembly, not "yolk", the yellow part of an egg.

We are agreed; Christians are free in Christ to eat as they please. It just doesn't make sense to misinterpret the few verses of Scripture that do address diet with any claim they are instructive for health for everyone today.

Brothers and Sisters.. we are at Liberty in Christ and cannot keep the law of Moses! Only the Lord could and overcame it to be Victorious!! Praise the Almighty GOD.

It was all in place to prepare the way for our Lord! We have the New Testament and it does advise certain things from the Old… nothing is going to save you but Faith in the Lord Jesus. Son of GOD sent for our Salvation.

There is no requirement to eat this or that.. nothing can defile you. Acts 15 is advising.. no yolk for us.

The Good Shepherd is our Righteous path to GOD. No, other way to receive the Royal pardon.

In the meantime as we abide.. we are to discern for ourselves. I will now leave this chat. No striving. Enjoy your dinner, whatever you so choose.

Apparently. So, my next question is why is it a ridiculous question?

Your question was, “According to the Spirit is committing murder a sin?”

I consider this a ridiculous question because the Scripture makes clear, both inside out outside of the Mosaic law, that murder is contrary to God’s will.

What about the other nine commandments?

Why don’t you ask Him?

Please quote the Scripture that clearly separates the Law into different parts. Until you do, don’t bother complaining about me putting it all in one category.
I have clearly shown 2 laws in the new Testament....

Firstly Paul states ...Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Blotting out this law.... nailing it to the cross.

But another law is not made void and this means it must be another different law.
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Mar 10:19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.....
Jas 2:10-11
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

These verses show that the law is not void. So logic tells me that they are two different laws.

Do you guys keep the dietary laws of Leviticus 11? I believe it is smart to do so, not because we are REQUIRED to, but because God as the creator knows what is most profitable for us to eat when it comes to meats. The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, I know. All im asking you guys is: Do you personally keep the dietary laws? Do you think it is beneficial?`I sure do. Lots of bad things have happened in history including many pandemics due to eating unclean meats.
I'm from the Southeastern U.S., and bacon, country ham, and sausage is what I was raised on. I recall for Sunday dinner after Church at my aunt's house, we'd have fried chicken and roast beef for dinner (lunch), but for supper around 5 P.M. we'd have a breakfast type meal, eggs and homemade biscuits, country ham, sawmill gravy, and coffee for desert.

Thing is about pork though, is that God created the pig, or hog as a scavenger animal to cleanse the earth. It keeps the garbage in its system that it collects from scavenging the earth, and has no sweat glands to release poisons. Even a rattlesnake won't kill a hog. All this is why pork is not on God's clean meats list.

I love crab, lobster, shrimp, clams, etc., i.e., shellfish. They are all scavengers that live on the bottom of the sea designed as cleaners. Same thing for catfish, a bottom scavenger fish. All those are not on God's clean meats list, again because He designed them to cleanse the earth.

What's a buzzard do? It's a scavenger bird, designed to cleanse the earth.

Now what is most often taught in the Church is that by prayer all... meats are suddenly made miraculously clean. That's simply not how Paul meant that (1 Timothy 4:3). What he meant was that by thanksgiving to God, it was to be accepted 'spiritually', but it did NOT mean the unhealthy meat miraculously was made clean by prayer. That scavenger meat is still bad for our flesh body.

Now Apostle Paul also told us to eat whatever is sold in the shambles (market), not complaining. In other words, do eat to live, and if invited to dinner at a nonbeliever's house, eat what is put before you, unless you know it was offered to an idol, then reject it and tell the non-believer why. Otherwise, eat and don't offend them.

This is about our Liberty in Christ Jesus to eat outside God's health list. Doesn't mean our flesh body will be healthy by eating outside God's list though. Unhealthy food is not... suddenly made clean by prayer. It is made as spiritually acceptable.

God told Peter not to call anything He has made “unclean.” At the same time showing him all kinds of animals both “clean” and “unclean” according to Jewish law. Acts 10.

God told Peter not to call anything He has made “unclean.” At the same time showing him all kinds of animals both “clean” and “unclean” according to Jewish law. Acts 10.
Peter revealed that he understood the vision of the blanket of unclean animals that God had used to point to Gentiles, and to not call any man common or unclean...

Acts 10:28
28 And he said unto them, 'Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation;
but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.'
KJV

So God's healthy meat list did not change. Unclean meats are still not good for our flesh body.

We have been given advice about what is healthy and what isn't

Your choice. You can listen to God our follow your flesh.

Some will claim ALL requirements are removed, but this is not so.

Can we drink Alcohol and not have side effects. Can we eat excess sugar and not have side effects?
Why do people think that God takes away the side effects of the unclean and cursed foods listed in Lev.

Pigs are still full of toxins when they are eaten today.

1Co 6:19-20
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

No matter how you think about it, pigs are rather dirty animals. They’re considered the garbage and waste eliminators of the farm, often eating literally anything they can find. This includes not only bugs, insects and whatever leftover scraps they find laying around, but also their own feces, as well as the dead carcasses of sick animals, including their own young.

During the digestive process, animals (including humans) get rid of excess toxins as well as other components of the food eaten that could be dangerous to health. Since the pig’s digestive system operates rather basically, many of these toxins remain in its system to be stored in its more than adequate fatty tissues ready for our consumption.

Another issue with the pig is that it has very few functional sweat glands and can barely sweat at all. This leaves more toxins in the pig’s body.

When you consume pork meat, you too get all these toxins that weren’t eliminated from the pig. For instance, there have been examples of pigs and pork products being contaminated with:

Ochratoxin, Salmonella, Metals Mycotoxins, Other toxin-related outbreaks

According to the World Health Organization, processed meat like ham, bacon and sausage can cause cancer. Researchers found that consuming 50 grams of processed meat each day raises your risk of colorectal cancer by 18 percent.

Processed meat is considered to be food items like ham, bacon, sausage, hot dogs and some deli meats. Noticing a theme there? Those are mainly pork-derived food products.

While no one particularly wants to consume worms, trichinosis is a serious illness that you should do virtually anything to avoid. Pigs carry this deadly worm too.

It’s actually been theorized that trichinellosis is the exact cause of Mozart’s rather sudden death at age 35.
Look it up..

Pigs carry many viruses and parasites with them. Whether by coming in direct contact with them through farms or by eating their meat, we put ourselves at higher risk of getting one of these painful, often debilitating diseases (not to mention put our bodies on toxic overload).

Pigs are primary carriers of:

Taenia solium, tapeworm, Hepatitis E virus (HEV), Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome, aka blue-ear pig disease, Nipah virus, Menangle virus, Viruses in the family Paramyxoviridae.

Each of these parasites and viruses can lead to serious health problems that can last for years to come

God knew all this and more, God said not to eat pork.
God is wise.

God created all things. There are clean meats and unclean meats. Basically the unclean meats are the ones that are scavengers that clean up the filth and decay from off the earth. When you eat scavengers, you partake of the filth they have eaten which is stored in their fat. Not a sin unto death but definitely one against your health.

Despite your claims, nothing in Scripture indicates that the dietary laws are “advice about what is healthy”.
