Actually i have proven you wholly wrong, you just copy and paste in an effort to confuse, hoping they wont see through your ineptitude. You claim a heresy, that christ appeared TWICE to Mary! You cannot discern basic truth! You most certainly do have a purgedconscience!
You apparently don't even know what a purged conscience is either. You really should just log off and go and spend some time before the Lord getting straightened out.

The Angel of the Lord who OPENED the tomb commanded them to go tell the disciples about the ressurection (matthews account)

John states they found the tomb and left without ever having spoke to an angel- in fear of him having been stolen.

How can you not see the blatant hole there????

I have a question for the rest of you:

Is this the same nonsense that he was spouting on those other threads under the other username?

If so, then I'm glad that I missed it.

The guy doesn't know what he's talking about and he apparently has some serious problems with reading comprehension. Hopefully, the rest of you know what I actually said and understand the same.

As has already been documented for you, Mary appeared at the empty tomb TWICE.

At her first appearance there, she believed that Jesus' body had been stolen and she went and told Peter and John the same. When they ran to the tomb to see for themselves, Mary accompanied them back to the empty tomb for a second time. Seriously, learn how to read.

You should heed your own advice son.
You're not my father, pal. In fact, you're spouting the lies of the father of lies, Satan. Your alleged contradictions have been shown to be nothing more and nothing less than your inability to read a text and comprehend it. Case closed.

Huh?

Here we see Mary is INSTRUCTED BY THE ANGELS TO GO SPEAK TO THE DISCIPLES and to tell them the good news that Jesus was ressurected. They leave to go to tell them IN GREAT JOY, knowing full well Jesus had NOT BEEN stolen, but had been resurrected.

Let us reason together brothers and sisters: Mary only went to the tomb for the FIRST TIME, early in the morning....once. She only came upon an empty tomb one time. These events recorded in both gospels most certainly speak of her approaching and finding an empty tomb, there is no doubt about that. BUT, we do see a different account of what happened after finding an empty tomb. One of panic, thinking the Lords body had been stolen, and one of elation, having been counseled by angels that he was risen, instilling happiness, contradicting the worry in the other account.
In one account they have no idea where he is, in another, they know he has been ressurected to life.
^^^ THIS IS THE FIRST CONTRADICTION.
You don't know what the Bible says, you don't know what I've actually said and you cannot even remember what you've said.

Seriously, just log off before you make even a bigger fool of yourself. The Bible isn't wrong. You are. Now go and repent.

Actually- your whole theory of "Jesus appeared to mary twice that morning" does not hold water with any of us. The fact that you try to shove john 20 in between Matthew 28:1 and 2 is heretical.

Your twisting my words. My whole basis there^ is that Mary only came upon an empty tomb, for the first time, once. We all know that it is stated she returned with Peter and John, mr intelligent, but what you fail to see is that the accounts in John and Mattjew are the INITAIL finding- the happenig of her actually going there and finding the body gone. She didnt "discover" an empty tomb twice, moron. She only "discovers" it once. SMH

Lets see what it actually says...if you really want to test the scriptures...Im your guy :)

Mt 28:5 But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
6 "He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 "And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you."
8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.
9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.
10 Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me."

Joh 20:11 ¶ But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb.
12 And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 Then they said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him."

Now where exactly is your conflict?

My conflict is with the sequence of events in the resurrection story.

If you are willing to discuss it openly without twisting words to make someone appear foolish, when actually wanting answers....then please help.

Well first you may not understand the purpose of each gospel is not to make a event log...its to show the four prophetic faces of Jesus Christ...do you understand that biblical concept...if not you need to stop trying to teach others and listen to a true bible teacher.

Refer back to my OP. I came here to be taught, but found mockers and lovers of self, devoid of what appears to be basic comprehension skills....

I will listen- thats the funny part- as long as it is reciprocal. Agreed that the gospels are the four prophetic faces? Sure thing. Does that mean that the texts are infallible? NO.

Ok that's fair...no ..the text are not infallible as any one copy of a text would stand alone...but we have copies from all over the known biblical world ...reserved and recorded ...and in view of the overall truth of all the text and in their agreement we can say they are clearly the intended truth of Gods very Word.

Do you have faith in the blood of Jesus shed on the cross (Ro 3:25) to cleanse you from sin and save you from God's wrath (Ro 5:9) at the final judgment?

If you believe in any other religion, you are not a Christian.
