That would be agreeable if respect towards others apply. I really don't care if any member is God! I know God doesn't treat people like that.

Isn't Jesus just like God? Did Jesus ever say to anyone (as an example) "man are you a dumass!" or anything unnecessary. If he had, on a regular basis, I would NEVER follow Him for I wouldn't care one bit if He was totally right!!! If you love someone, you wouldn't treat them as such!

Very frustrated right now. I feel this place is like a den of thieves for very good reasons. If you are Christian or Christ like, then act as such!!
I like Jesus chasing the fools out of the temple with a stick myself. I can see him getting frustrated with the disciples around him. Are you so Dull! When Jesus comes back he is going to be kicking some bottoms not singing kumbaya. :)

are you suggesting God has outstanding promises to people who STILL hold to this (even if you could prove some actual blood line - which is absurd)?
This simply supports Ezekiels prophecy and warning, along with Gods following through of punishment that the Jews would be without a home or land of thier own until the 2520 years of punishment of exile were up from the Babylonian enslavement. This came to an end in the 1930s and now true to Gods word, Israel is re-instated as a nation for the Jews.

The fact that a group of people can survive with its indentity intact for 2500 years living under constant persecution spread around the world, without a leader or nation of its own, is a miracle in itself and simply again shows that God still has plans for the Jews, which of course he does, as the formation of Israel and its continual survival and flourishing in a sea of enemies demonstrates.

Why is it absured to think that people can prove they have a Jewish ancestry? That is a ridiculous and insulting comment to make.

WHy is there so much hatred for Israel and Jews today? Askt yourself, why does Zone hate them with so much venom that she has to post all this nonsense about Jews? We know Drett is a pro-active Mulsim who supports Palestinians, so that agenda is clear, no doubt Zone also sits in this camp.

A final point. There was a man who has now passed on, called Phill Hunter, in the 1980s he ran a coach tour company , One day while in Israel, he had an audiable message from God telling him he was to take the Jews out of Russia and return them to Israel. His wife also received the same message, both sat on it for days without saying it to the other, but they got continual messages, events happening prodding them along, as God does.

They ended up telling each other what God had said, then realised that it was definitely from God. But they thought this was insane, as Russia was still closed as it was height of cold war, then within a few years all that came to an end and as a result of preparing for the event they were able to go straight into Russia and begin the task God assigned them, which they did.

You can argue theology all day long, but actions speak louder than words and when you have testimonies like that, With messages which have been properly tested and confirmed by other believers, which is then backed up by coming to fruition with Gods blessing, then its very difficult if not impossible to challenge.

UMM Correct me if I am wrong but didn't you say that the 2520 years ended in 1948 and now you are saying it was in the 1930's? This is what you said earlier in this thread.

FACT: Jews have never really been a nation of believers and have always rebelled against God.
FACT : Babylon enslavement extended to 2520 years.
FACT: 1948 is the end of the 2520 years and Jews are allowed to rule their own lands again.

FACT : Prophecy is fufilled and the continuation of Gods Genesis covenant for the Jews continues.
It is a bit confusing if one at first says that 1948 was the end and now the same person is stating that the end was the 1930's,so could you clarify which it is. They both can not be true.

I wish people would stop muddying the water with these sorts of comments. The venom is directed at crimes against humanity that go unpunished. Muslims are not the only people being persecuted ? Christians are leaving in droves. I guess the Zionists would be waving them goodbye.

NPN Email Alert

It is interesting what one Palestinian Christian minister said "Christianity was made in Palestine".

Going back to the topic of the thread. I think we have well and truly established Jews do not have a divine right to the country.

1. The scriptures supporting Jews divine right have been misinterpreted. The calculation of the years in exile are all wrong.

2. There is the absence of regret and repentance in their sin of the rejection of Jesus teachings. We can see that in the disgusting references to Jesus in the Talmud.

My opinion is any future discussion on this would need to address these points directly.

Yes, it was just way I worded things and partly because of the interesting little number play I still had in my head, which I will mention in couple of paragraphs down.

This calculation 2520 years coming to an end is dependant on what sources for dates you take on. Then there is the issue with calendars changing, conversion between Hebrew and Julian Gregorian etc not forgetting the number of days in a Hebrew year, leap years and so on. Then 360 v 365 days thing, which makes pinpointing an exact year a bit hit and miss.

So although it is a little vague to pinpoint a year after all these thousands of years have passed us by, it is still easy to get within a decade or two of this 2520 years ending. That averages out for 1930s, according to my calculations, which is when things swing into motion so to speak.

Here is an interesting little play with numbers, it takes average length of Hebrew year to be 360 days, I wont go into all that debate, but just for now take this number as read, then subtract that from 1948 and you get 537 BC! Explained in detail with walk through below using external link to a Hebrew Date calculator

if you take the average number of days for each Hebrew year as 360, mutliply that by 2520, you get 907200 days, Now go to the calculator, Abdicate - Jewish Calendar, Gergorian Calendar, and Julian Calendar Converter enter in the date in which Israel became a nation, which was 5 Lyar 5708,. Hit the button next to date you entered, labelled Jewish, that will convert the date into our calendar, and should show May 1948 at top of page, you need to do this before performing the next task.

Now in the box “Add to or Subtract from the SDN” enter –907200, the period of the punishment in days and click the button next to it, SDN ADD. Now, look at top of page and what dates do you get? 537 BC date of the Persian conquest and release of Jews, the time when they should have repented!

So many geniuses, so little faith. Reading this thread magnifies the teaching and advice, "do not destroy yourself with what is falsely called knowledge."

All prophecy will be perfectly understood when its time has past. Until then, those with faith will continue waiting on the Lord, amen.

this is such bad theology, i'll have to take it a piece at a time.

cough cough.

not even jews use this bogus math.

you guys have done some slick reverse-engineering to make 1948 or 1967 or the Dome of the Rock or whatever be PROPHECY!

here's from wiki - Judaism portal (go to ANY jewish historian or theologian and not ONE will tell you their Babylonian captivity was 2520 years long)

The Babylonian captivity (or Babylonian exile) was the period in Jewish history during which the Jews of the ancient Kingdom of Judah were captives in Babylonia.

According to the Hebrew Bible, there were three deportations of Jews to Babylon: the exile of King Jeconiah, his court and many others in Nebuchadnezzar's eighth year; Jeconiah's successor Zedekiah and the rest of the people in Nebuchadnezzar's eighteenth year; and a later deportation in Nebuchadnezzar's twenty-third year. These are attributed to c. 597 BCE, c. 587 BCE, and c. 582 BCE, respectively.

The forced exile ended in 538 BCE after the fall of Babylon to the Persian king Cyrus the Great, who gave the Jews permission to return to Yehud province and to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem.

The captivity and subsequent return to Judea, and the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem are considered significant events in Jewish history and culture, which had a far-reaching impact on the development of Judaism.

Agricola, i truly hope one day you realize that the dispensational system you are teaching is ANTICHRIST. literally.
in so many ways, it's mind-numbing.

but, carrying on, let's see how long until you just fizzle off into calling me an-antisemitic-skinhead-wazzizever because that's your only explanation for this apparently perplexing refusal on my part to make Genesis 12:3 say God plans to curse everybody who doesn't send money, guns, and plutonium to Dimona.

and i still haven't figured out why Christian sites proudly stamp themselves with the Egyptian cum Asiatic Khazarian (Gog) HEXAGRAM, a magic symbol:confused: and then freak out when other christians refuse.

“The story of the Khazar Empire, as it slowly emerges from the past, begins to look like the cruelest hoax which history has ever perpetrated.” - Arthur Koestler

Engravings resembling the Jewish Star of David were unearthed at two Khazar sites, one along the Donets River in eastern Ukraine and the other along the Don River in southern Russia. This one is a circular metal disc, interpreted by Professor Bozena Werbart of Umea University as Jewish but seen by others as shamanistic or pagan. The circular nature of the disc may represent the sun, and the 6 points may represent rays of the sun. Scholars lean towards assigning the disc to Tengri shamanism due to the fact that there are also known examples of Khazarian sun discs with 5 or 7 points, rather than consistently 6. Some of the Jewish-Turkic graves at Chelarevo in what used to be Hungary contain engravings of the Star of David and are believed by some to belong to Khazar Kabar migrants. However, the claim that the Star of David first became a symbol of Jewish nationalism in Khazaria is by no means certain.

but, course it goes back much further.

Amos 5:26

You have lifted up the shrine of your king, the pedestal of your idols, the star of your god -- which you made for yourselves.

Acts 7:43
You have taken up the tabernacle of Molek and the star of your god Rephan, the idols you made to worship. Therefore I will send you into exile' beyond Babylon.

"But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Mo,.... The god of the Ammonites; See Gill on Amos 1:13; and See Gill on Jeremiah 7:31; called theirs, because they also worshipped it, and caused their seed to pass through the fire to it; and which was carried by them in a shrine, or portable tent or chapel.......as by the Septuagint here, and in Acts 7:43;

the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves; or the star "your god" (q); meaning the same with Chiun or Saturn; perhaps the same with the star that fell from the air or sky, mentioned by Sanchoniatho (r); which Astarte, the wife of Chronus or Saturn, is said to take and consecrate in Tyre; this they made for themselves, and worshipped as a deity. The Targum is,

"ye have borne the tabernacle of your priests, Chiun your image, the star your God, which ye have made to yourselves.''
John Gill

......

now, i have no problem just saying right out that any peoples who reject Jesus Christ are ultimately idolators.
we all were also once among them, before Grace.

but why we wanna pretend unbelieving jews aren't idolators?
or even that they are Israelites?

Found: Ancient Capital of 'Jewish' Khazar Kingdom
The capital of the legendary "Jewish kingdom" has been found, says a team of Russian archeologists. If verified, the find is a major breakthrough.

"This is a hugely important discovery."
A team of archaeologists claims to have discovered remnants of the legendary Khazar kingdom in southern Russia, according to a recent report. If the excavation site proves to be indeed the long-lost capital of the ancient 'Jewish Kingdom', the discovery would represent a major breakthrough for archaeologists and historians.

Map of the Khazar kingdom and surrounding regions, including Israel
"This is a hugely important discovery," said the leader of the Russian expedition, Dmitry Vasilyev, in a report by the French agency AFP. Vasilyev, from Astrakhan State University, made the comments after returning from the excavation site, located near the Russian village of Samosdelka just north of the Caspian Sea. The location of the site corresponds roughly to the area in which historians believe the empire may have existed.

"We can now shed light on one of the most intriguing mysteries of that period - how the Khazars actually lived,” he added. “We know very little about the Khazars - about their traditions, their funerary rites, their culture.”

The Jewish University in Moscow and the Russian Jewish Congress helped finance the excavations, which took place during the summer in various locations throughout the region in which the discovery was made. The project, overseen by a number of university professors, included some 50 students who assisted in the digs.

The Khazars were known to be a semi-nomadic Turkic people who dominated the Pontic steppe and the North Caucasus regions from the 7th-10th centuries CE. The origin of the Khazars and their apparent conversion to Judaism is the subject of major dispute among modern historians.

In the 7th century CE, the Khazars founded an independent khaganate, or kingdom, in the Northern Caucasus along the Caspian Sea. It is believed that during the 8th or 9th century, around the height of their kingdom, the state religion became Judaism at the order of the king. At this point, the Khazar khaganate and its tributaries controlled much of what is today southern Russia, western Kazakhstan, eastern Ukraine, Azerbaijan, large portions of the Caucasus (including Circassia, Dagestan, Chechnya, and parts of Georgia), and the Crimea.

The first Jewish Khazar king was named Bulan, which means "elk", though some sources give him the Hebrew name Sabriel. A later king, Obadiah, strengthened Judaism, inviting rabbis into the kingdom and building synagogues....."

I like Jesus chasing the fools out of the temple with a stick myself.
Oh so you do believe in Jesus.

Do you accept Him as your Lord and Savior? Do you believe He is the only begotten Son of God?
If not then may I ask what is your purpose of being here?…are you searching for the truth or do you have some other agenda?

Or are you here to push Rev13’s leopard bear lion beasts (islams) agenda of placing another geographic area under sharia law and forcing it to submit to islam?

We are to love all people, and let Yahweh be the judge of who does or does not have rights. As non-Jews we were brought as the other flock together with the Jews by the Great and Good Shepherd, Yeshua.

There is no sin in loving the Jews and desiring them to remain in the flock where it pertains, or to be brought back to the flock where it pertains. The quote below merits meditation.

Rom 11:15

For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
Rom 11:16

For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
Rom 11:17

And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Rom 11:18

Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Rom 11:19

Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
Rom 11:20

Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21

For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Rom 11:22

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Rom 11:23
And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.

I think Roman says a lot concerning Israel:

Rom 11:23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
Rom 11:25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "THE DELIVERER WILL COME OUT OF ZION, AND HE WILL TURN AWAY UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB;
Rom 11:27 FOR THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."
Rom 11:28 Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers.

the forum question says it all......the promised land.......who was it promised to?
The people that are doing Gods will of course. Rejecting Jesus in the Talmud does not fall under that category. At the moment humanity is doing its own thing and no one deserves the promised land. So corruption has returned to Israel while God waits for people to return to God.

I believe in the teachings of Jesus.

Pushing a leopard bear lion thingo would be against chat forum rules wouldn't it ?

I believe in the teachings of Jesus.

Then you believe in the Son of God…afterall didn’t Jesus teach this?
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Or this?
Joh 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Or how about this?
Mat 10:32
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

I confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.
I believe in the only begotten Son.
I confess Christ crucified resurrected and now sits on the right hand of power.

Will you make confession before men with me also Drett?
Will you accept Him as your Lord and Savior so He will confess your name Drett before the Father?

Didn’t Jesus teach,
Mat 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Why are you delaying this Drett? Didn’t Jesus teach this???
