And its quite strange that people keep talking about this, That minister wants money, this one is rich and is preaching the gospel of prosperity, etc etc.
Get your life together, Abide in the Lord, stop pointing fingers.!!. When He shows you a false church, bash it not, if it is evil, does not GOD want us to be good? rebuke its evil yes, but scorning or of the sort is not of GOD..

can range to pride, thinking they can exist without a gathering, hurt hearts, that belief that WHAT ALL PASTORS WANT IS MONEY(This has sent MANY to hell, and is increasing more and more to it). and a lotttt more reasons... but all in all i would is rooted in deceit, it was a direct commandment from Christ, to gather. We see in the word of God, that the apostles when they spread out to preach the gospel started a church to the believers there. They did not tell them, GOD will teach you personally so you do not need to gather.
Alone A Christian can easily fall, with many, A Christian can easily STAND.. Apostles started out 500 or so in ACTS 1 and 2 and in unity of the Holy Spirit 5000 got saved in one day..
There is absolute strength in numbers.. People do not want to see that, why? the devil is slowly separating them and draining them.

Most christians believe that those who are not christian are not saved. So that by their wisdom, they see gain and respect over another.
Paul also thought this way when he was of the Jews religion of his day. But what he counted as a gain, he discarded as dung in order to gain Christ.

Well brother, maybe you should ask the Lord to give you manna from heaven, and have you beat a rock so you may drink of its water so that you may not associate yourself with money(no offence), Because if Money is evil to you and you still use it, is that not Hypocrisy? (get away from them, be ye separate) .
ask the Lord for more clarification on that, but i do not see a more clear verse

I see... well I do not serve God with my mind lol. But I have to wonder the part where Jesus is asked about paying taxes and he says give to ceasor what is ceasors. Jesus also took a coin out of a fishes mouth. I use money, and when I am able I plan on using to live. but I will never be evil because money is only paper and coins, it's what you do with money not the money itself. put money on a table by itself, and it can do nothing and cannot be evil on its own
One more time. I NEVER said money was evil. It is only paper. I'm just trying to get people to understand that it is only paper as well.

I cannot make a more clearer point! You believe that by simply being christian, you've somehow gained an advantage over one who is not. This is a product of money and respect of persons.
But the truth is that a christian looks like any other person dead and in the grave.
But the irony is that christians admit to still being sinners! But somehow we believe that christian sinners have a leg up on "other" sinners?

Oh, my goodness! This is basic 101. Christians are only better off than non-Christians because Christ is their Lord and his righteous sacrifice makes them saints in the eyes of God. Christians are work-in-progress sinners (worked on by the Holy Spirit to become more like Christ) but also saints because they're covered by Christ's robes of righteousness. This has nothing to do with money or power.

This is why I rarely call myself a "Christian". That name refers to a religion. What saves me is not a religion, but a relationship with Christ. I am a believer.
We don't go to church to get saved. We go to church to be comforted and encouraged by the company of other believers, and to be a comfort and encouragement.
The same goes for why we seek to do good and not sin: not for our salvation, but our gratitude for being saved.
