Imprecatory prayer? be careful, God knows who is who and will take action accordingly.
Not at all. Just asking God to intercede so as to hinder a false teacher.

Our church today is NOT lead by the Lord, they are led by the gentile fathers of the first century who preached from their idol worshipping families they were converted from, but did not completely get away from.

As proof look at the amount of myology and pagan practices are accepted in our churches. There is a Christmas tree and Santa Claus in our churches. God told us to celebrate His path to our salvation every year and gave us ways to do it and said it was for everyone for all generations, but instead there is only Christianized pagan holidays and none suggested by the Lord. God gave is the attitude toward the Jews that we are to follow and told us why they were blinded to Christ, but it is not taught in the church, instead every Jewish way of honoring God is looked down on because we are told the Holy Spirit replaced the rituals to lead us. God explains His ways in the first five books of scripture, but only the NT is accepted as explanations of God.

If man let God run the church these things would not be so.
Hi Blik, I understand your view. I respect it.

I just try to not swerve left or right in my view of the correct path. Imagine a continuum:

Saturday keeping, etc.. _________________ dwelling n leading of the H.S. _________________ Christiendom paganism.

I try to stay in the middle. And hope you understand that is my God given right. I will have to give account to God for my choice, and I do that middle based on what I understand from the Bible, and not on what someone else understands the Bible says.

Kind regards.

P.S. I see nothing wrong to keep the Sabbath, if your conscience ask you to, but I do not consider it essential for salvation.

LOL, Would it not be better if you prayed:

God, if the person talking all this Biblical stuff (remember I have quoted Scripture and cannot be broken), is sincerely mistaken, let your light and mercy shine on him / them to see the truth that is Jesus Christ.

But if I am the one way out of whack with respect to your revealed truth in Scripture, then let the veil fall off my eyes to see what your true and ultimate reality is, what it means that Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, and what it means that we are the Body and not the Head.

But the way you said you would pray communicates to me an imprecatory intent, which on the long run is not a fruit of the Spirit.

What is very strange to me is that you say to come from a People of the Book tradition, yet you have not quoted anything in the Bible to back up your arguments.

Democracy superior to the lead of the Holy Spirit? so when all the persons were yelling Crucify Jesus to the Roman authorities, were they right?

If you are going to charge someone of false teaching, you should at least show where in the Bible the proposed mistake is. You have not done it.

So persons should conclude that you are the result of an indoctrination by men, that imposed a man made construct not aligned with the Bible.

Have your nice Christmas, which by the way could not be in December, because in that month the pastors tending the sheep would not be out in the field as described in the Bible.

You continue to promote a two tier membership in the local church.
You and others have a "higher gift" and therefore have the right to rule, act as MASTERS over those second class members who you consider to be ignorant, do not have the Holy Spirit, refusing to or to stupid to follow the lead of the Holy Spirit.
When the members, all the members, are not qualified to participate in the decisions of a local church, that is on the leadership. Those leadership have failed in their duty to lead and teach. YOU have failed.

This thinking, teaching, and practice is contrary to what Matthew 23:8-12 teaches. I quoted this Scripture before but you ignored it. It is contrary to your desire to be MASTER over other members.

You always conclude that any one who disagrees with you or points out the error of you belief is ignorant of Scripture and indoctrinated by man.

You are the only one who referenced the teaching of a man, not me.

I wish you no ill will. I pray you will learn the error of your ways. But I will continue to pray that God hinders your false teaching and all false teaching.

At least you have the Christmas thing correct.
