Depends on the definition of 'evolution', evolution can simply mean change and there is a monumental amount of evidence for change, this type of evolution can be observed, tested, repeated and verified or falsified and even made a law like the law of biogenesis which is the principle that living organisms develop only from other living organisms and not from nonliving matter, nothing has refuted this known law. There is no argument here, it is simply a case of two worldviews that differ on the "origin of species". Here is one to think on perhaps?, it is fair to say that the core principle of human engineering is design, so to design something you need a designer, design demands a designer there is no other way I know of, we know that man can use his intelligence and purposeful design mechanisms to create a sophisticated and complex structure, we know by scientific experiments that time and chance alone cannot create highly sophisticated complex structures, we know that man copies design from nature but how does science explain design and purpose in nature?
You're taking the definition of evolution and making it something it's not. As much as you'd like to believe it's true, natural selection and speciation aren't evidence for evolution. They have nothing to do with evolution. One species gives way to a new species, but the animal kind stays the same. Therefore, natural selection and speciation are evidence for a biblical creation.

OP is a troll - if sane sensible people come here seeking genuine answers, we have
no problem explaining why we believe what we believe.

But it is pretty obvious from the tone of the comments, that this person is just trying to
amuse themselves with useless closed comments to goad the community.

Not worth bothering with IMO.

To finish off this thread I wish I had never started, I would just like to ask a short question,
I have been married for nearly 20 years, I have 4 wonderful children, I have never been in trouble with the law, I have never hurt anybody, I have always worked hard for my family, I am loyal and trustworthy, I think a lot about this, here is the question .. why am I not worthy in your eyes?

Well I have been saved and I've sold drugs, fornicated, yelled at my wife and kids, slept with my dads girlfriend, blasphemed God, physically hurt people with my fist, quit jobs, been so hateful even to those closest to me, pushed my girlfriend, and countless other horrible and wicked things, so unlike you I really needed a savior, and praise His name every day that He'd even care about a "wretch like me". That's the difference, you seem to already at least think you're 100% righteous, any real Christian will tell you the exact opposite. Seems you don't need a savior so that's a big reason you don't want one and that this makes no sense to you. I hope you have another perfect day. (really, no sarcasm)

No it teaches believe or burn, or have I got that wrong? as for throwing bombs I will leave that to the people who think they are justified in doing so.
ahh the truth comes out.

Does that upset you? Did you ask why it says you would burn, or does just the message upset you? Have you actually studied it, or are you just going to condemn a thing you have no knowledge of?

it does not matter what you are in my eyes, or anyone elses eyes. What matters is in Gods eyes.

God set the standard, anything that falls short is judged And creator god has the right to judge does he not?

No man has lived up to Gods standard, so your not alone in your plight, in fact, every person you see in your everyday walk is in the same boat you are.

What seperates christianity from other religions, is God made the provision to make you right. by taking your punishment. If you are judged, it is not Because God did not offer you the same gift he offers everyone, It is that you did not recieve that gift.

God sends no one to eternal darkness, they send themselves there

It is hard to hear, for anyone that we are not worthy, it hurts our soul, it pierces our being, But it is true all it takes is one wrong act. You can admit you have done one wrong thang can you not? If you can, you can admit your unworthy. no matter what else you do.

I take responsibility for my own actions, I would not expect any human being to want this 'gift'. now can you please kick me out

You would not expect any human to want to be saved by a loving God "The Gift"

Then I guess you want everyone to be seperated from God for eternity..

And your right, you will take responsibility for your own actions, So stop complaining about the consequences..

Without faith it is impossible to please God. The flesh counts for nothing. We all have become like the unclean, and all our deeds of justice like a menstrual cloth, And we all wither like a leaf, and our iniquities take us away like the wind.

If you do not want the gift of life, you will be removed from existence altogether. Some people care about where we come from, and greatly desire to know the reason, meaning, and purpose of life. It matters to them whether or not there is a God Who created the universe and gave us life. It seems to them that if there is a God it would be prudent to find out. They enter into a process of sincere seeking. God reveals Himself to those in such a state of humility. But He opposes the proud. If you feel you have no need of God, that stems from pride. Self sufficiency is a lie.

What do you mean by worthy? Worthy of what? Your question sounds sincere. Id like to give you a sincere answer. Can you expound on it?

You're taking the definition of evolution and making it something it's not.
I'm taking one definition of evolution (change) and proving it, anyone who says changes do not occur within species is either ignorant of what can be seen or deluded.

As much as you'd like to believe it's true.
It is as true as it can be and can be seen. Here is a very simple but yet complex example of change - egg larvae pupae, seed tree fruit, do you see?, evolution is their word for this type of change not mine. Gene shift or allele frquency happens even mutations occur within species, but all these changes occur only within the species, all species change at some point but all have limitations and boundaries they cannot cross though.

natural selection and speciation aren't evidence for evolution.
Well to be fair I never said anything about natural selection in my previous post you replied to. Maybe we have our wires crossed so to speak?

One species gives way to a new species, but the animal kind stays the same.
Yeah that is variation of a kind, no problem with that and it has been observed by mankind for thousands of years.

natural selection and speciation are evidence for a biblical creation.
Yeah many Christians I know agree with this, that is why I said there is no arguments and that a lot of Christians just differ with Evolutionists/Atheists on the origin of species, you know, where something came from in the first place.

just against the absurd old earth and its lies.
Well there is no other planet quite like planet earth so there can be no comparison made between this earth and another earth because another one has not been found. Planet earth is old there is no doubt about that, there is no known absolute accurate way to determine or date exactly how old planet earth is or even how young it is, older than what? younger than what?. I for one don't adhere to the alleged six thousand year old planet earth as others assume.

here is the question .. why am I not worthy in your eyes?
You're not accountable to any sinners, i'm a deliberate sinner, it is in my nature to sin, that's the way I was born it's in my genetic structure and dna, that's why I am drawn to the Holy Scriptures because these writings from ancient days tell me the same thing, it tells me what I am and informs me of my condition.

Look to Jesus Christ. He is the image of the unseen God. Examine your beliefs about Who He is, the origin of what you think, and why you think it. Keeping a journal may even be a good idea so you can better track any progressions or transformations of belief. Explore your ideas of spirituality. What is it to you? What things in life have affected you the most profoundly? As a mother and wife, no doubt it has been issues concerning giving birth, raising children, and love. Life is a miracle. Considering the human condition, love is a miracle. Do you agree? God loves you so much He sent His Son to take your place for the punishment we deserve as sinners. You seem to think you are a good person. How good do you think Jesus Christ was or is? (Christians know Him as being alive, the source of life, within Who we have our being etc, while non-believers generally tend to think of Him as deceased.) Have you ever wondered why He had to die? How much do you know about Him?

Looks to me like, even were the person a "troll" (which I do not believe he is), many of you have successfully steered him from any interest in accepting God's grace with your dismissive accusations, firebrand nonsense and collective willful ignorance. Great job. Chalk one up for the bad guys.
