Every point here is wrong!

Anaesthetic agents do NOT harm the organs!
How else could surgeons implant these organs into organ recipients who are being anaesthetised??!!!?????
Also, getting back to the reason a brain dead organ donor does not receive an anaesthetic - simple, they are brain dead and do not feel a thing.
Muscle relaxants may be used because muscles will contract due to local spinal reflexes which have nothing to do with the brain.
Here is another fact to ponder: many organ donors are LIVING donors, principally kidneys. How do surgeons get the kidneys of those donors?
Without using an anaesthetic?
Give me a break!!!??!!!!

The reason the definition of death was changed was a realisation that brain death was just that - death!
It had NOTHING to do with organ donation.

If you want to argue this then you need to quote reputable peer-reviewed medical journals rather than the tabloid press...

And, just in case you are wondering, I am an Intensive Care doctor who has used those drugs referred to, has looked after patients that turned out to be organ donors, as well as transplant patients. I have also been involved in the decisions to diagnose brain death.

Your post is at best ignorant and at worst malicious

hooray facts! thanks

the heart generally stops before brain activity stops, too, right?

I think God is OK with it. The Jehovah's Witnesses don't agree.
They have a different way at looking at faith similar to the Catholic ,therefore not applying the unseen spiritual understanding.

Making it all about the literal blood and not what it represents.

Not with brain death - if we put the patient on life support.
It is not unusual for these patients to be kept on life support - although they are brain dead, or suspected to be brain dead - for up to 72 hours.
The reasons may be that multiple assessments to diagnose brain death are required by different clinicians (this is a good thing), it often takes time to assemble family members to participate in a decision as to whether a loved one is to be a donor.
No jurisdiction in which I have worked will accept someone as a donor unless there is a unanimous decision by all the stakeholders (read family members but sometimes the situation can be that others have power of attorney in this situation)

The heart will be beating when the harvest of organs starts...
This may be distressing to you, but the patient is brain dead and would have officially been declared dead after all the relevant tests and investigations are completed, this is usually several hours before the harvest begins.

The French have done some research, that is promising, where they harvest organs (with permission of course) from recently deceased patients, rather than just get organs in the situation described above, in an attempt to provide more organs for their transplantation services...

Ewwww this whole topic gets me squeeemish. But it brings to mind how important it is to KNOW for a fact that nothing can separate us from the love of God IN CHRIST. Even if we don't have the answer to these or other blood/organ/ type questions and are asking other questions that life brings up as we go along in it. Rom.8:35-

[SUP]
35 [/SUP]Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?

[SUP]
36 [/SUP]Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter.

[SUP]
37 [/SUP]Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors
[SUP][a][/SUP]and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.
[SUP]
38 [/SUP]For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things
[SUP][b][/SUP]impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers,
[SUP]
39 [/SUP]Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The question of the OP is one thousands of inquiring minds have asked over the years and still will ask until they learn the answer. I remember asking it years ago in my 20s.

Even if we don't have all the answers to such things , it's knowing the truth of WHO the foundation is... Not our knowing and doing all there is to know (and we can't know it all) but first and foremost knowing Jesus is the ONLY WAY - TRUTH and LIFE.

Having this question settled in our minds is the most important and all other truths are built on this One.. Jesus., the Rock of our salvation. The foundation of all truth.

JWs are like the rest of religions on the planet.. man depending on what man does and not what Jesus has done. Many JWs as it was shared here have allowed themselves to die., or their loved ones to die because they thought it pleased God. They and other religious people were and still are "sincere" but sincerely wrong.

Does God accept organ donor and blood transfusion?

Well, I guess God would accept a donated organ...
but I really don't think he needs it for anything.
Have a little heart.

I have always wonder if God accept giving blood tranfusion and organ donor to someone in need?

YES!!! The Scripture the life is in the blood is referring to redemption; which Y-shua's redeemed us. It is Holy and Righteous to save a life. GIVE BLOOD, DONATE ORGANS!!!!

People that have already moved home to heaven with glorified bodies do not need their earthly organs anyway!!!!! They are just more food for the bugs and that is nasty!!!!!!
