For that reason we should know all knowledge of our heavens and God and all knowledge of evil. I don't think they can be separated, as this could be a weakness where the enemy can overcome us. If we don't know the wicked ways of evil then evil has an advantage over us all.
Sorry to do this to you, but the Truth and reality of the Law are backward to what you're teaching. Check this out . . . this is EXTREMELY important to understanding the backbone behind not only the Law of Moses but also the point of the entire Bible:

Romans 7:7-8 NLT - "Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, "You must not covet." But sin used this command to arouse all kinds of covetous desires within me! If there were no law, sin would not have that power."

Are you saying we wouldn't have lived forever if didn't eat the forbidden fruit?
I dont know how you came to that conclusion. In my mind there was a reason why God said dont eat from the tree of knowledge, My logical reasoning maybe mankind at the time of adam was maybe not ready, as too much wisdom can be an over load of the mind,
Maybe that was Gods reasoning, God didnt want mankind to know to much to soon.
our minds our fragile. Genesis 2:17 17but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.

Now was that all Knowledge of Good and evil ? Because if it was that could make the mind collaspe,

I feal when the mind is overloaded then where weak for that reason where at Gods mercy and when my minds cracks we have an enemy who can take advantage,
maybe this was the reasoning for Gods commandment.

I think the thing that you have to understand that the commandent of dont eat from the tree of knowledge was a commandment given when there was only two people on the earth. When there was the was a Garden of eden, some six thousand years ago
And i think maybe God was concerned that mind overloads could be passed down How ever theese days we have no choice as knowlege of good and evil is blasted into minds all over the place

The Tree didn't have anything to do with the type of knowledge you are describing. To know the difference between good and evil is to mean you are not innocent anymore. They weren't dumb ..they were in God's image.

Yes innocence was taken from them that i believe, But eve was possibly dumb enough to fall for satans temptation in the garden.
Dont forget that God still cared for them after they disobeyed as he clothed both of them.
How ever we are straying from the topic here some what but thats ok.

Is the framework of this sub-reality sitting in God's Kingdom which forces good to be in it?
Was the cost of entry our spirit?

Do cherubim prevent us from sticking our heads outside of this sub-reality into the Garden?

I said i think does not imply you dont as i dont have a clue if you do lol
I've scoured the Bible, Word by Word, highlighting each thought or concept per sentence with a different color of highlight. I am trying to read the Bible twice per year in a chronological, timeline format so as to fully understand the actual story that IS the Bible.

In my thousands of hours of cataloging and organizing God's Holy Word, I have found that only second to grasping the Lord's Almighty Power, there is nothing more important to know and understand, more so than Colossian 2:9-15. Genesis 3:22-24 is the image of Christ on the cross, as described in Colossians 2:9-15. To make this link is to begin to understand that Paul was right, that there is a "Mysterious Plan" that must be fulfilled, and that Plan is only given to those who NEVER STOP asking, seeking, and knocking. If our minds are shut and we think we're the knowledge source for all things Scriptural, we've likely stopped our asking, seeking, and knocking. And if that's the case . . . "Get away from me, for I have never known you."

Reboot!

Become an investigator and try to figure out what Paul is talking about. No one ever talks about this . . . and that's because few understand the "Mysterious Plan of God."

Ephesians 3:1-13 NLT - "When I think of all this, I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus for the benefit of you Gentiles . . . 2 assuming, by the way, that you know God gave me the special responsibility of extending his grace to you Gentiles. 3 As I briefly wrote earlier, God himself revealed his mysterious plan to me. 4 As you read what I have written, you will understand my insight into this plan regarding Christ. 5 God did not reveal it to previous generations, but now by his Spirit he has revealed it to his holy apostles and prophets. 6 And this is God's plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God's children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus. 7 By God's grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News. 8 Though I am the least deserving of all God's people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ. 9 I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning. 10 God's purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God's presence. 13 So please don't lose heart because of my trials here. I am suffering for you, so you should feel honored."

Ephesians 2:10-16 NLT - "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. 11 Don't forget that you Gentiles used to be outsiders. You were called "uncircumcised heathens" by the Jews, who were proud of their circumcision, even though it affected only their bodies and not their hearts. 12 In those days you were living apart from Christ. You were excluded from citizenship among the people of Israel, and you did not know the covenant promises God had made to them. You lived in this world without God and without hope. 13 But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. 14 For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. 15 He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. 16 Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death."

The Bible is one, big, massive puzzle for each of us to figure out and understand . . . and when we do, it is life-changing! So I have given the biggest clue that you need for gaining insight to the real Plan of God. That Tree of Life in the Garden is a picture of Christ on the Cross. And when you begin reading the Bible from the beginning, you'll begin running into unbelievable passages such as,

Deuteronomy 21:23 CSB - "you are not to leave his corpse on the tree overnight but are to bury him that day, for anyone hung on a tree is under God's curse. You must not defile the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance."

And the Deut passage is a fulfillment of . . .

Galatians 3:13 NLT - "But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."

To see that the Bible is a story that revolves around this "plot" is just incredible. It is the most mind-boggling set of writings ever imagined. To get this Plan into the marrow of a person's bones, that person will know, automatically, that it is impossible for any human to write this material without the Plan of God having already been pre-written upon Heavenly Scrolls. And these are Scrolls that cannot be altered . . . impossible. The Plan of God, these Heavenly Scrolls . . . they [will be] fulfilled.

Isaiah 34:14-16 NIV - "Desert creatures will meet with hyenas, and wild goats will bleat to each other; there the night creatures will also lie down and find for themselves places of rest. 15 The owl will nest there and lay eggs, she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings; there also the falcons will gather, each with its mate. 16 Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together."

They are symbolism for choosing God or man. The meaning of life for this reality.
One tree points to the Curse that includes the Sinful Nature, and the alternate tree, the Tree of Life, is the remedy for that Curse.

When a person eats from the Tree of Life, the below description of what happens to them is vividly described. If you're not a fan of the NLT, great . . . the KJV is unbelievable too (they're saying the same things). Check it out . . .

Colossians 2:9-15 NLT - "For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. 11 When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision--the cutting away of your sinful nature. 12 For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross."

Choosing God is the remedy, yes.

Do you think it's weird that Cherubim are on the vail or not? (the original post for this thread)

No, I have never found anything of deep significance on the matter. What matters is that we 100% understand the Doctrine of Circumcised Hearts. We can know all things, but if we do not understand Colossians 2:9-15, all the knowledge in the world is nothing more than fodder.

Our Union with Christ is because of the Work of Christ. When we are Purified by Christ, we become "complete." That is the word that you need to focus on. Think about that . . . the Work of Christ is what makes us "complete." Ok, then read verses 11-15, for they are the explanation for how and why a person is considered "complete." This is so, so important! I'm glad that you're asking questions . . . whew . . . you are like one in a thousand!

This sure sounds like different trees to me ..different realities.

God is the one keeping the way. Because He's good.

We have to answer why God did not want Adam and Eve eating from it, that is, why it would not be good if they did after they had eaten from the tree that causes dying?
If Adam and Eve had eaten from the Tree of Life after they fell, they would have been unable to be saved. They would have become like Satan, immortal and eternally evil. Through the cross, the old nature dies and through the resurrection, we receive a new, born again spirit that is immortal but good. God is entirely good and all wise. He cut off the way to the tree of Life for the best of reasons.

So we become complete in this fallen reality because of what He did, but don't become one with God until the end. When you say "complete", I assume you mean quickened ..renewed spirit. A righteous connection to God. "spiritual circumcision"

Nope. There is one tree. There is one Holy Spirit who includes the spiritual gifts and the fruits also. The "mansion" that Lord Jesus refers to is our placement in the future Kingdom of God. Jesus is preparing that mansion according to the extent to which we cooperate with Him in this life, for the furtherance of His Kingdom.
