BELIEF - FAITH - LAW - OBEDIENCE - JUSTIFICATION - GRACE - REPENTANCE
It all fits together! We cannot discuss one without discussing the others and expect to understand.
Why do you put grace near the end of the train? Doesn't that come first?

Are you familiar with Grace Communion International? (formerly WCOG)

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
This is scripture. If you are a Christian its in your bible. Be a Christian. Don't go back to the Old Jewish way that is the yoke of bondage.
You want to be pleasing to God? You want to be clean and Righteous before God? You can only do that by faith in Christ. No other way.

"Old Jewish way that is the yoke of bondage" that you speak of refers to Judaism - surely not God's SPIRITUAL Law of love as defined by the 10 Commandments.
I sometimes wonder if judaizers are just dumb or if they are more sinister than that and are attempting to pull people from their freedom in Christ back into the yoke of bondage.

For the most part it just seems like judaizers don't know what they are talking about. They wish for certain things and try to project their legalist wishes onto those who are in Christ.

2 Corinthinans 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

This is pretty simple, right? Reading the 10 commandments and trying to place that upon self and others is death. Its the letter.

I know you don't know why and you don't agree. That's because of 2 Corinthians 3:14-15

The spirit is what gives life. And the Spirit is NOT defined by the 10 Commandments. The 10 commandments are commanding people to be perfect like God is Perfect. The Spirit is defined by Love, Joy, Peace, Faith, Longsuffering, Goodness...

Why do blind leaders of the blind think they can teach Christians to go back to working at the law? Not really sure. Especially since it only takes one or two scriptures to blow their silliness out of the water. I guess you just need to know what scriptures they are...

2 Corinthians 3:7-9
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

The 10 commandments, which were written on stone, are the ministration of condemnation and death. Does this contradict Psalm 119??? No, it doesn't. It expounds on what Psalm 119 is REALLY talking about. But you can't know what that is until coming to Christ.

Galatians 3:10-12
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

How can all that matter be working at the 10 commandments if those that are of the works of the law are under the curse? Its obviously NOT all that matters but just your wishful interpretation of scripture.

What matters is coming to Christ and abiding in Christ. Not working at the law whose ONLY purpose is to show a persons guilt before God. It will never stop showing a person that they aren't perfect Like God in Heaven is Perfect. It will never stop showing a person their need of the Lord Jesus Christ and His Help. Read Matthew 5 over and over until you get it. Try not to think more highly of yourself than you ought...

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

The yoke of bondage is OBVIOUSLY the ministration of death and condemnation.

The yoke of bondage is OBVIOUSLY working at the law.

Galatians 4:21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?

Nope. Obviously not. We don't have to wonder why. 2 Corinthians 3:14-15 tells us why. Galatians 3 tells us it is foolish.

Galatians 3:2-3
2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

If you are still working at the law then you haven't been given Rest. If you haven't been given Rest then you haven't yet STARTED your Christian Walk. You still think you can be Righteous by your work. You still think you can obey the law. That's how Hypocrites and Pharisees are made.

The Liberty that is in Christ is superior to that legalist, Judaizing way. We don't have to be hypocrites. We don't have to be Pharisees. We can be truthful and honest. We can tell people that we don't follow the carnal interpretation of the law. We can tell people that we abide in Christ who draws us into the walk in the spiritual interpretation of the law which we have NO POWER to walk in on our own understanding and our own strength. We MUST rely on Christ because that is our only choice. We rest in Christ.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

For the carnal man, the judaizer and legalist, it seems like drawing people into the yoke of bondage, the ministration of death and condemnation, is right.

But the end thereof is death.

Because there is no righteousness before God in working at the 10 commandments. There is only righteousness before men from working at the 10 commandments. A Christian is not interested in righteousness before men but Righteousness before God is what matters.

JESUS said"the words that I speak, they are Spirit and they are life".GOD IS a SPIRIT and those who worship HIM must worship HIM their spirit to HIS SPIRIT and IN truth. The WORD(Spiritual) IS sharper than any physical two edged sword.

I sometimes wonder if judaizers are just dumb or if they are more sinister than that and are attempting to pull people from their freedom in Christ back into the yoke of bondage.
Yet they were never under a yoke of bondage prior to hearing some sort of "good news."

After hearing this, they found Christ not sufficient for salvation and placed themselves under the curse of the law. All of this was by providence allowed to happen to them as a warning to others.

Yes. They are sheep stealers.
And they come to places like this forum in search of prospects.
Reader beware.

The most common tactic is to try to make you dissatisfied with your own church.
They will tell you that you have been lied to. (while they lie to you)
They will tell you that there is only one "true" church. Just happens to be theirs. (you're in luck)
They will tell you that you don't understand the Bible. Then will "explain" it to you.
They are trained to argue with you. Anticipate your rebuttals, and press the argument.

we think that those who Love our precious Saviour, no matter 'name-nationality-country', etc.,
no matter how 'others' label them, or where they happen to be in their journey, -
if they are sincere, and truly seeking Jesus and believing and trusting, and acting out
their Faith, then we are so very thankful for the blessings that they are have been given,
and we rejoice along with them for our blessed Saviour's favor that He has
bestowed upon them...
