This is sad. this is an important topic. To many churches are trying to force feed meat into baby christians, then wonder why they get fed up and leave, because they are so confused. ANy discipleship training of any new found believer needs to focus on milk, it is is good to try to find out what true Milk is. Thank you Ariel for this thread.
it sad that you cannot answer your own stand, and use waffle to hid your own blindness. and try to make everyone else the escape goat to your blindness
thank jesus for grace a gift.

thats my last post to you.
Is it wrong for me to hope that it was your last post on this thread?

You are beating up a Straw man and being divisive and contentious.

I pray you realize the difference between heavenly and earthly wisdom, because right now your "wisdom" is not peaceful, gentle or filled with any love that is noticeable.

It reminds me that we are not lone rangers but part of the Body of Christ. I believe the laying of hands is done as a blessing from the church. It is when our spiritual gifts are made manifest and we learn and grow to minister to others.
I agree and this laying on of hands is "intentional". I believe it is the Lord working in and through us to proclaim His kingdom and love and grace towards others.

Jesus is the Word.

I see the distinction that you are trying to make. The Holy Spirit cleanses our minds. However, even before we "feel" clean of our sins, we are clean because of what Jesus did upon the cross.

Truthfully though, I doubt babies can tell the difference.

Thats why their security in christ in probably one of the most important things they need to learn. Otherwise, it would be so easy for satan to take them out. Because they more they learn about God. the more sinful they realise they are. and it would be so easy to just condemn yourself or give up.

Is this something we may have largely lost? Or are there no longer many men who lay down their life to follow?

Concerning peters last post and your response to him, a verse came to me.
If a man has washed and is clean, he only has need that his feet be washed again later if he gets them dirty.
So He washes us but we step in puddles and get our feet muddy...

But we must remember, Jesus said we are COMPLETELY clean by the word.

Cleaning some dust off the outside, yes, But the inside is clean..

What kind of bait do you use?

And who's that guy with you?

True let's refocus and summarize them.

Bottle 1: you are a sinner in need of a savior (repent)

Bottle 2: God sent Jesus Christ to die for your sins upon the Cross. he rose again on the third day and ascended into heaven. He will send His Holy Spirit to be teacher, intercessor, mediator and guide. (faith towards God)

Bottle 3: baptism is when the Holy Spirit descends on your life and washed you clean of your sins. It is when God declares you His adopted child.

Should we move on to the laying of hands then?
Bottle 4: The Body of Christ or the earthly church will lay hands upon new believers and through the unction of the Holy Spirit spiritual gifts will manifest to reveal the ministry of that believer and their place within the Body of Christ.

Okay what is next?

I do not know what your major malfunction is, But the mods now can take care of it.

I am sick of people coming in accusing others of things, and never wanting to discuss anything, This post you just made hads NOTHING to do with the post you responded to.

Very true is is foundational that new believers drink the whole bottle and truly believe that what Jesus did for them on the cross truly cleansed them of their sins. That they died with Him and God can raise them again to be reborn as His child. Otherwise they have rusty armor.

my opinion was back up with scripture .

your was not. so keep your straw man attitude.

i do not need your prayers. i have my own direct line to god.
and your judgment you can keep to your self.

do you think i posted these post just for you. think again.

it the truth that sets you free, not an opinion.

you were asked more that once to authenticate or debunk. with scripture proof. to your stand.

and this is how you answer.

EG it's a common tactic...if you can't get people to stop learning more about God's words, send someone in to start a fight or whisper lies to distract the discussion, promote misunderstandings and pride, etc. For we do not war against flesh and blood but spiritual wickedness.

They also would have to live in fear.. one can not come to a father he fears.. He tries to hide from hi, especially when he makes a mistake and sins against the father, he does not want the father to know because of fear.

I am told God is my Abba, not a spirit I should fear.. That's hard for a baby to understand I think

He he. LOL (Yeah, never mind if anything is ever understood.... we have a list to get through.)
Well, I can't say I understand the laying on of hands because I have never experienced this, but I liked G777's thoughts on it and I can move on, keeping in mind that He will show me this in real life at some future time.

What part of the list did you not understand?

I tried calling people out before. Did not get me anywhere, and I am sure made alot of people upset. So from now on, I am just reporting that nonsense, 1 time I warn, second and on times, I report without even warning..
