1 john 12 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
We become sons through regeneration not through the western adoption system. ( lol ) .
Despite years of calvinistic seminaries , scholars, commentaries and theologians telling us .
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1.3
Ephesians 1:4-5. Accept what they say.

Or we could just notice what the bible says and stop being lazy by parroting what we've learned in seminaries , bible colleges , from commentaries and our favourite so called 'giants of the faith '.
I don’t know who’s doing that. Who are you accusing of doing that? You’re the one who won’t take Ephesians 1:4-5 for what it clearly says

Who is the direct object of the verb “chose” in Ephesians 1:4. You never answered that question and I asked it at least five times.

Where in the bible does it tell us what the Adoption IS please ? The clue is , its in Rom 8 . 😉
It literally says we are waiting for the adoption. It literally says the adoption is the redemption of our body. I really don’t understand why they will not admit to this. Pride maybe?

You don’t understand the dual aspect of adoption. Do you inderstand the dual aspect of other things like sanctification?

Your private interpretation reads into the verse, he chose us to be in Christ. That’s not there, neither is the context “us” but rather in Christ, in him, in the beloved. The heavenly blessings are in found Christ and given to us in him.

Yup the authority of the scriptures is ignored because of a paradigm.

Ephesians 1:5. Galatians 4: 5-7
God predestinated who? Us, in him, in the beloved. We who are in Christ have been predestinated unto the adoption which is the redemption of the body.

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

This is like saying that because Paul said we will be saved by Christ’s life, we’re not saved yet. Think about it.

I guess he thinks his body has already be redeemed.🙄

The way you interpret things, a person cannot be saved until the final gun, because Paul says we will be saved ( future tense) by Christ’s life.

Rom 5.10 ? We are saved by his life . Thats also clear. Without the resurrection, no new birth .

Has to be . He has it at conversion. Then the post hoc rationalization has to include the ' already not yet " card .
