Hi Endoscopy,

Here is the main problem with those theories, they were all written before Israel was restored to Jerusalem.

Because of that, they do not put the events together in the correct time line.

For preterism everything ends at 70 ad.

For pre trib, they skip everything after Pentecost, until the resurrection. 1900+ yrs.

Both avoid the times of the gentiles, 70 ad-1967.
While the theories are that old doesn't make a difference. They are not stagnant theories but have been worked on for centuries by theologians. Any impact on them by more recent events have been taken into consideration and some if not all looked forward to Israel being reborn since a new temple is required.

Armageddon is Gods judgement of Israel and Jerusalem. In revelation the City is called Egypt and Sodom. The book also speaks of the harlot killing the Prophets. In the whole bible the only city accused of killing Prophets is Jerusalem. Jesus confirms this where he named Jerusalem as the only place that Prophets are killed. Jerusalem in the last days is Spiritual Babylon where Antichrist rules from. Only one third of the Jewish population will be saved.
You ignore that the Jews are the chosen people who God said he would defend. A verse in the Bible has God saying show me the bill of divorce. Any nation acting against them faces God as their defender. Look at the result of the Muslims continued attacks on them trying to kill all Jews. Surrounded with poor arms they defeated a much bigger army much better equipped. There were instances where the Muslims were afraid to attack because of their perception of a very much larger and better equipped force opposing them than existed. The Jewish defenders wondered why they weren't attacked. They had done nothing to create that impression.

I am interested in hearing the different cases for a rapture event and whether it's Pre mid or post trib because I believe it would help me in my own studies.
1. According to John 14:1-3, the Rapture is a "stand-alone" event with no relation to any tribulation period. Indeed the passage begins with "Let not your heart be troubled".

2. The coming of Christ for His saints is always presented as being IMMINENT. Hence the many warnings to Christians to always be ready since the Rapture will be (1) unannounced, (2) unexpected, and (3) sudden.

3. Therefore the only logical and biblical conclusion is that the Resurrection/Rapture of the saints will be before the Tribulation. Christians longing to go through the Tribulation should pray and ask the Lord to leave them behind (won't happen),

John 14:1-3 has nothing to do with a supposed "rapture".

Oh, just because the word "rapture" is not in that passage? So kindly give us an exposition of that passage in case we missed something.

These guys are amazing, aren't they? John 14:1-3 has everything to do with the gathering of the church. In fact, Jesus' going back to the Father's house to prepare places for us and his promise to come back and get us is exactly what he is talking about, with 1 Thes.4:13-17 being a detailed account of our being gathered.

Sometimes it seems like they purposely avoid the plain meaning of scripture.

While the theories are that old doesn't make a difference.
They did not have the access to the knowledge and info that we do today.

And now, we see things from a different point of view, in hindsight.

They are not stagnant theories
If they are always changing, then that means that the original was wrong, and that they will continue to be proven wrong, because they must change to meet changing criteria.

The only time they can be right is when the theory stops changing.

but have been worked on for centuries by theologians.
Sure, the earth is flat too. That was worked on for centuries by theologians.

Any impact on them by more recent events have been taken into consideration
How can they take recent events into consideration, if they formed the theories centuries ago?

and some if not all looked forward to Israel being reborn
Preterists don't.

Look at Jerusalem, Israel is reborn.

What does that mean to you?

since a new temple is required.
No new temple is required.

The AoD happened in the first century, and the temple if rebuilt, is not required for the rapt/resur coming of Jesus for the kingdom.

Brother Ahwatukee,

It's not a question of if it happens, but when it happens.

The kingdom is delivered up to the Father after death is destroyed 1 Cor 15:23-28.

You have it being delivered up at the first resurrection. You are saying that the kingdom, is delivered up at the first resurrection, not after death is destroyed.

The covenant confirmed is with God and Israel.

The 7 years began when Jesus began His ministry. The beginning of the 69th week, confirming the covenant.
What i am talking about is not about the covenant made between God and Israel. i am specifically talking about the 7 year peace agreement that the Jew and the Muslims sign, which allows the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple, This even is going to happen.

When Israel rejected the gospel kingdom, that was the end of the covenant. The end of the confirmed covenant week.
You, however do error in this thinking. The covenant between God and Israel is still in effect to this very day, for a remnant shall be Saved. Even though Israel broke their covenant with God, God is going to stay True to His covenant with them, and an remnant of them will remain and be SAVED.

The natural branches were broken off and the gentiles were brought in.
This analogy does not in any way say the tree was destroyed now does it. There was a covenant between God and Israel. Israel Failed that covenant. But God continues to keep His covenant with them and a remnant shall be Saved. When Israel failed that Covenant. God did not get rid of the covenant that He made with Israel, but engrafted the Gentiles into that covenant. And many of the natural branches were broken off, but it does not say ALL of them now does it? Please note and understand i am not referring to the old covenant that God and Israel had concerning the 10 commandments.

-----

The Antichrist has been here for 1900 years. You just don't see him.
You do error. The Spirit of anti-christ has existed longer. But there will be a man which does not believe in God nor satan, and he will have his own agenda, this man will be granted gifts from satan, which God gave him permission to have, so that prophesies are fulfilled. But this man will be atheist, and this man will cause many to fall away from their Faiths. Not just the Christian Faith, but all Faiths of the world will fall away because of this man. It will appear that this man singlehandedly fixes the whole world, and the entire world rejoices because of him. Jesus did not come when most Christians believed He should have.

He is the leader of the iron legs/toes nation, Rome and Caesar.
He is the leader alright, but it is not Rome and Caesar. He will cause the whole world to come together under one banner. countries that will not mix will join together under this banner, but will still not mix with each other. Countries like North Korea and South Korea under that same banner, but will not mix with each other one iron and one clay, working together for a short time before Christ comes and destroys all kingdoms on the Earth, and they all become His at the 7th Trumpet sounding.

You seem to think that you know which one is correct.
i can i possibly know which one is correct if i do not know what any of them teach? Again you are accusing me of things that i have not said.

I think you should enlighten us why the other three are wrong.
How can i do that when i do not know what any of them teach.

I challenged you about this but like atheists I confront about the 5 miracles of big bang evolution proving it false you ignore and just keep up your superior ego and don't deign to respond with facts.
Are you not asking questions that is not possible that i can answer, and then say that i am ignoring you because i don't answer. lol.

You just keep up your rejection of the centuries of theologians unable to pick which one is correct.
How can i pick which one is correct when i do not know what any of them say and teach?

Try responding to the request of refuting with information about why any of the four are in error Biblically. Your refusal implies that you have no comprehension of how to do that. You just keep ranting you are correct and the theologians are in error. Prove your statement with pointing out the errors or shut up about it.
lol. if you keep on talking about, people will continue to respond about it. If you want people to stop talking about it, then stop talking about it. lol

You have stated we need to understand the difference between the literal and the symbolism in Rev. and I agree with you.
So why are you putting a symbolic meaning to the seven churches that John was to send that letter to and that Jesus personally addressed? "The Church" the whole body of believers is not mentioned at all. These are seven local churches that Jesus personally spoke to concerning positive and negative characteristics. Has nothing to do with todays churches.
And you have done the same thing with Rev. 4:1. There is no allusion to the "rapture of the church".
This is exactly the problem I was speaking about when I said that "interpretation" of the Word of God leads to problems.
You have changed a literal passage of Scripture into a symbolic meaning to support your belief.
Interpretations belong to God NOT to men. Sad that men do not understand that.

You appear to forget that according to Paul a Jew is someone circumcised in the Heart not in the flesh. Jesus called Nathaniel a TRUE Israelite which infers that there is such a thing as a false one. Try reading the Prophets including Hosea to get a clearer picture.

You could also try reading some modern middle eastern history. For instance during the wars between Israel and the Arab nations Israeli intelligence was used that resulted in most of Egypts tanks and planes being wiped out in pre emptive strikes before they were used. Israel is also supplied with top military equipment by the US. A good example of this is the missile system given them to defeat Saddams scud missiles in the Iraq war

A little "private interpretation" on your part.
That last statement is pure crap. No one is "longing" to go through any tribulation.
There are Christians suffering terrible tribulation (starvation, torture, disease, death) every day.
I guess God does not love them. Maybe they are just not as righteous as you are.

Hi All....
Does everyone know the next big event coming any day or year to our planet?
No, it's not Jesus coming back to reign for a thousand years.
It's the seven year peace plan.
You can lose your soul if you are deceived by the coming Antichrist.
Here is the best short video I have found explaining this end times prophecy in detail.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPRDpUvrldo

Have a great day! :)
Not if you are one of His elect and if that video said a believer can, they do not know the Scriptures.

Matthew 24:24 “For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.”
