Amen and respect to all you’ve said there , love and respect you also brother very much
“The 12 Apostles of the Lamb were witness to His life, death, and resurrection.”
the apostles witness is the gospel of the kingdom this doctrine found i. All the epistles the death and resurrection of Christ has been witnessed throughout the law and prophets the apostles are called to establish the doctrine Jesus taught them those are the requirements not for Jews but for mankind
They witnessed this to all
People it is our faith and the will of God
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and,
lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Matthew 28:18-20
of course they witnessed his death and resurrection I agree but they witnessed his doctrine because it’s the new covenant he told hen to teach the same things he taught them to everyone that is the gospel as much as the death and resurrection it’s why we have the accounts of Jesus ministry the things he taught still today that’s matthews witness of the gospel it includes his death and resurrection indeed but it doesn’t exclude or omit his word it’s the word of the covenant and blood of ten covenant that makes a covenant valid
the things Jesus taught echoe through the epistles because he told them to witness the gospel of the kingdom to all
People so
“And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.”
Acts 28:30-31 KJV
they didn’t just witness Jesus died and rose but the whole counsel of God is what the gospel includes the death and resurrection indeed but every word that Jesus spoke as well taken together
“And now,
behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.”
Acts 20:25-31 KJV
If we read the epistles we can see that the subject of Jesus death and resurrection permeates almost every subject in some way it’s essential . The things Jesus taught are as Essential because it’s what changes our mind and heart from bad judgement to Gods judgement it brings us to repentance and righteousness if we follow his word and pursue the goals he’s set for us in his doctrine
the gospel Jesus taught mankind is essential and holds all
Of the good news about eternal
Life and is where he makes all his promises of faith
the apostles are specifically the twelve men the risen lord appeared to anc chose to establish the scriptire think about it , other than James , Luke ( marks account bekng peters of course ) and Jude , the apostles Jesus chose and appointed wrote the entire New Testament we all have in the Bible
“Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ,
called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,”
Romans 1:1
the twelve apostles have become part of the gospel story for us now in the end times they are integrated into the gospel because Jesus personally set these thkngs in order John , Peter , Paul Matthew
Note also how lets say Jude introduced his letter
“Jude,
the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:”
Jude 1:1 KJV
his letter is specifically written to all Christians but notice he doesn’t say “ called to be an apostle “
The apostle Peter
“
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the
strangers scattered throughout
Pontus,
Galatia,
Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.”
1 Peter 1:1-2 KJV
wrotten to those sanctified by Jesus blood but he says Peter an apostle , Paul says Paul an apostle Jude says “ a servant and brother “
James says
“
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.”
James 1:1 KJV
James is written to the twelve tribes who were converting to Christianity but it still applies to all Christian as far a its doctrine but note James doesn’t say “
An apostle “ James was Jesus brother but James the apostle was dead already being beheaded or “ killed with the sword “ by Herod
my point is those same twelve apostles have thier names written forever on the foundations of the kingdom because the y have actually become part of our hilt scriptures they have actually become our spiritual big brethren and heroes of our faith who inspire us with the records we read of them and encourage us with thier testomonies and edify us with thier doctrines and teachings thier words give us hope and remember what he said to them whos words would become our Bibles New Testament ?
Jesus addressed the apostles and those who would later hear thier words about him and believe forst of the apostles he says
“
I have given them thy word; and
the world hath hated them, because
they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
As thou hast sent me into the world,
even so have I also sent them into the world.
Neither
pray I for these alone, but
for them also which shall believe on me through their word;”
John 17:14, 17-18, 20
and it’s not a coincidence that thoer words comprise the New Testament or that there are twelve names written in heaven known as the twelve apostles of Christ
“And the wall of the city had
twelve foundations, and in them
the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.”
Revelation 21:14 KJV
it’s not a coincidence that there are twelve thrones next to Christ
“And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
Matthew 19:28
or that there are twelve tribes of Israel
Ot
“and had a wall great and high, and had
twelve gates, and at the gates
twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are
the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:”
Revelation 21:12
nt
And the wall of the city had
twelve foundations, and in them
the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.”
Revelation 21:14 KJV
the apostles served a vital Role in our salvation enduring persecutions to spread the word of God , thoer writings make up our faith the Holy Spirit speaking through these men has established our hilt bibles New Testament just as the same established the Old Testament through the twelve tribes of Israel
later on even though there is a removal of a tribe and grafting in of another there’s only ever going to be twelve tribes of Israel recognized by God in eternity just as there are the twelve apostles recognized by God for eternity as
they are a foundational part of Gods plan God furthered the gospel through those chosen witnesses so far as thier wotness still reaches the ears of New Testament Bible believers in every nation on earth
we base our faith on thier witness which is this bekng fulfilled
“And
this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Matthew 24:14 KJV
Every time a Christian preacher shares the message in the New Testament that’s bekng fulfilled more and more the twelve apostles witnesses are already written throughout the earth
