Thank you for sharing. Are you waiting for Jesus to bring you to eternal life or do you already have it? If you already have it, what was everyone else talking about waiting on/being brought to eternal life for?
eternal life = knowing Him
knowledge is not a physical property. it is a mental/spiritual property.
We know in part and we prophesy in part, but when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
(1 Corinthians 113:9-12)
not yet knowing fully does not equal not knowing at all. if we know Him, we have eternal life.
when we know Him fully, that life does not become 'more eternal' and knowing Him now only in part does not make that life that He gives us 'partially eternal'
contained in a mustard seed is the entire tree, waiting to be revealed.
this is going to be a very difficult topic for anyone who does not understand that eternal is eternal, not temporary, and that God is faithful; His promises are sure. God 'calls that which is not as though it were' ((Romans 4:17)) because there is in Him no lie - who are we then to speak of His gift doubtfully, or accuse Him of misspeaking?
