I'm trending towards fig leaves myself. Time to get back to the basic things that work. In Florida there is a beach called Playlinda on the Atlantic side where you can frolic in the nude. I don't plan on going there anytime soon though. My current wardrobe is sufficient. :)

well either you are new here as you say or...you have 'been around' the forums as you say

seems maybe it depends on what you say

so I pointed out to you that God did not create some kind of 'tunic' but had actually sacrificed animals who were innocent

and your response is complaining about the forums

you can't make this up

I'll leave you to it then
I did not post what i did as MY original thoughts..it was part of a biblical study and i didnt post ALL of it..just what pertained to the messages we had explained previously..the part about the skins..tunic...etc..were not SAY it was DEFINATIVE on how God got/made the covering for Adam and Eve because the BIBLE isnt definative bout it. You are no longer focues on the Eves morals/ curse..now its on the tunic? And yes..you know im new as ive told you previously and hopefully ull have more patuence with other newbies especially if you know theyre in a forum with people that have been on CC so long they think they know it all...

PLEASE..if you have more comments regarding this..i invite you to message e personally ;)

"Eves morals" quickly became "the curse of Eve"...i HAVE read quite a few of the posts and respinded but im TRYING to "play nice" as many get offended..defensive and argumentative..whether is women bashing..gay bashing..spiritual bashing..all of which a lot of these forums consist of..fact remains.."bashing" others means your focus isnt on God...and i DO know if nothing is "personal" here...why all the defensive argumentative people? Relatability can go beyond throwing scripture verses around just to be "right". See..i HAVE been around the forums...
That's why I post GRACE so often, people see to me to be more willing to go on and on about finer points of scripture and over look the main message. If people obeyed the laws, if we could, all of them, then Christ needn't have died, at all. He would have just said, here's the laws, obey them all or go to hell! Rather he said 'My grace is sufficent for thee' "Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, mind and soul and love thy neighbor as thyself." Why isn't that simple and clear enough?

Eves Morals, I think Adam was worse in a human sence. He just stood by and watched, quietly. He wasn't out hunting rabbits or picking grapes Genesis 3: 6 says he was with her. If man had the responsibility to watch out for his wife, he was negligent, tragicly so.

They both shared in the multitude of sins in the garden and we all share the punishment, period! So don't blame Eve alone. I think they both were guilty of a silent conspiracy against God and they knew it. That's why they hid and when that didn't work started making excuses, like 5 year olds.

I take it that God intended the restriction for not only Eve but also her
female posterity; which suggests to me that even that far back in time;
senior women were expected to teach the younger about morals even as
they're expected to do so now
Adam and the Woman ((she hadn't yet been renamed Eve)) had no children at this point.

If this is supposed to be 'you shall not commit adultery' why isn't Adam told the same thing, why is it said while adultery is literally impossible and completely unknown, why doesn't Gid actually say 'no adultery' if what He means to say is 'no adultery' and why does he give a law that applies to man and woman only to the woman, which can't possibly be committed and must be an altogether alien concept to them at this time, in the middle if the pronouncement of judgement for sin?

If 'women must not commit adultery' is the consequence of the Woman having sinned than if she had not believed the serpent would adultery been ok?

Respectfully your position makes very little sense to me.
here's my "half-baked idea" for a new thread

Genesis 3:17

17 To Adam he said, ...
... “Cursed is the ground because of you;
through painful toil you will eat food from it
all the days of your life.
18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,
and you will eat the plants of the field.
19 By the sweat of your brow
you will eat your food
until you return to the ground,
since from it you were taken;
for dust you are
and to dust you will return.”
Hmm maybe it means "do not commit adultery" ?

There's been a quite a bit of flap in the media of late about a gender issue
called misogyny-- defined by Webster's as hatred of women --while very
little flap about misandry; defined by Webster's as hatred of men.

Apparently some people think it's wrong to say denigrating things about
women while conveniently ignoring that it's a double standard to think
it's okay to say denigrating things about men.

Well, I have to ask, since when did women become a protected species?
Women are not a protected species. There are just as many, if not more,
women idling away the time in hell as men because God holds both genders
equally accountable for their ways.

Rom 2:9-11. .There will be trouble and distress for every human being
who does evil: for God does not show favoritism.

You man-hating women out there in cyberspace need to keep something in
mind. According to John 5:21-23 and Acts 17:31, Jesus has been assigned
the task of presiding over the great white throne event depicted at Rev
20:11-15, where you are going to be judged solely on the basis of your life
rather than the basis of your looks. Jesus will be neither influenced nor
impressed by the silkiness of your thighs nor the size of your bosoms; no, in
point of fact; he will be quite determined to disfigure them.

Rev 20:15 . . And whosoever's name was not found written in the book of
life was cast into the lake of fire.

In the end, it will be the sweet, gentle, turn-the-other-cheek Jesus who
subjects misandrist women to a death sentence akin to a foundry worker falling
into a kettle of molten iron, and permanently ruins any chances they might have
had for happiness in the future. For all eternity, condemned man-hating females
will grind their teeth with hot tears and white-knuckled fury that they ultimately
lost out on everything because of one lone male's obsessive control over their lives.

Tu quoque...

talk about an agenda

honestly? in all my years in different forums I have never seen the like to compare with this forum

misogynists seem to frequent this forum

that is no reflection on the admin or the mods because I think they know better

well then so clever you figured it out :geek:

it is really clever how some men try to tell Christian women they are still under a curse...because that is what it was...not a commandment

and by the way, adultery applies to men also. in fact, Jesus said that if you just look with lust...you have comitted adultery

the law is fulfilled by Christ and there is no male or female in Him

maybe do some research on the word 'covenant' and what it means and how God uses it

you have an agenda as certain men in the forum have illustrated they join with you

it's so interesting how some will say we are no longer partakers of the OT but will attempt to force women under it nonetheless

We had some missionaries at church on Sunday, they specifically preach the
Gospel to women and have women’s conferences. They cover the arrears mostly
ending in Stan,

Kurdistan, Afghanistan, etc. Plus recently the Cawcous near Russia. Mostly these
places have no Christians at all or are Muslim countries.

I never realised before but they said the Koran teaches that Mohammed saw hell and
3/4 of it were full of women, hence the strong Muslim thinking that women are evil,
can’t control themselves, are a temptation to men.

So they preach the gospel to thousands of women who are subject to life long
misery controlled by their husbands, with nothing to hope for and no future.
Unlike the Muslim men who all think they are all going to paradise.

They were telling stories about many dear women who arrive at their conferences
physically and mentally beaten down. Thats assuming they can manage to
get there.

The Christian women have to be very careful as Christians are watched and arrested.

Anyway it got me thinking how much Satan must hate women. He thought he had
got one over on God during the fall. But then imagine that God was able to thwart
his plans via a woman, via the birth of Jesus.

If you wonder why some men (but by no means all men) hate women and
put them down, accuse them, revile them. It’s because Satan hates them.

But Jesus came to see the captives free, He paid for the curse of sin. He came
to lift up both men and women. To bring salvation to both men and women.

Any one who thinks and promotes otherwise is spreading the lies of Satan. Or maybe
we have some Muslims on here.

I've got no problem with threads which deal with women's sin and rebellion (think women such as Jezebel), as long as they're not incessant and they are Scripturally sound.

I had a man on here who sent me a PM saying he did good foot massages.
Then he called me a Jezebel when I made his PM public.

Strange that how some men accuse women for their own indiscretions.
People throw the title Jezebel around a lot as a description for women.
But hey what about all the unpleasant men in the bible, far more of them are mentioned.

Maybe the name calling should just be left out full stop.

I put the sad face emoji down for your post because that is how this all makes me feel. sad

and angry too.

you're right and thank you for your response. women have been subjected to hatred from men for centuries and yet we see the love that Jesus towards them. I love the story of how Jesus appeared to a woman first when He rose again

there is so much to learn from the epistles and from all the Bible regarding how ALL should live in Christ yet certain men do not seem able to express their disdain and disgust for women enough it seems

I think I was blessed to have the father I had. it was not until I went out into the world that I learned some men think so little of women. and frankly I don't these crazy unbalanced threads should just continue on unchecked.

Jesus did come to set the captives free and amen! to that

we may very well have some covert muslims on here. the attitude does seem to express itself regularly here and anyone can say they are a Christian but when you start with this kind of thread, it gives one pause IMO

I left this thread this am shaking my head

thank you to those who understand what is really going on here

and a big round of hugs

I long ago realized that men were in the same predicament as were women

no one wants to be misunderstood and blamed and dumped on

we are each a person. a person in Jesus and He sees us as individuals and He is not prejudiced against either sex

neither should be made to feel inadequate or unworthy or 'blamed'

like Jesus said....'let the one without sin throw the first stone

well, Jesus is our shield against those stones (cause some still gotta throw 'em) and we are redeemed and He became a curse for us and that is the truth and that is what matters

I think people who harbor resentments against others due to gender are near borderline psycopaths, The main difference is putting their hatred and resentment into action. Some cultures force this doctrine out of this and those who are raised in one a man who has empathy for the weak, helpless and blameless may be considered an enemy to Allah or whatever they call God and it's sad.

Psycopathy is another matter. Yes Satin or demons must have their hands in it somehow and its even more revolting among people who claim to love the lord. Who did Jesus speak to first after the tomb, Peter, John or Mary of Magdala?
