The original manuscripts in their original languages autographs are the inspired word of God. Of course we have copies which we believe have been preserved and are faithful to the original such that we can translate them into our languages and be confident that we are putting faith in the inspired word of God.

Nevertheless it can cause confusion to contend for the inspiration of a word like candlestick. So it is not correct to say that the word candlestick in the English translation is the inspired translation of the greek word for lampstand.

So what is your question? He can hear Christs words by reading the bible. Which? Any of the best ones available. KJV, ESV, NASB, HCSB, to name a few of the best functional equivalents to the original languages into English. If you are Spanish I suppose you would use the Reina Valera, or something they have that is considered as good or better.

It's not an all-or-nothing question. Further, the number of uncertain words is relatively small, involving a relatively small number of verses, and none affects a major doctrine. The black-and-white approach might be useful to cult leaders and radicals, but it fails some basic tests of sound reasoning.

How is a person keeping the words of Jesus when that person doesn't know whether 1 John 5:7 should be in the bible or not?

As usual, the bible disagrees with you. In case you don't understand what the mouth of God is, it's the bible.

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

What language did Joseph speak in Egypt? Egyptian

Does Scripture contain the Egyptian language or Hebrew? What Joseph spoke in Egyptian was perfectly translated into Hebrew, and the translation was the inspired words of God. The Hebrew translation was not the original.

This requires more investigation and I would have to know why it is worded the way it is only in the KJV. There is a note that it is only in the Vulgate this way and a few late Greek Manuscripts.

I don't think reading the ESV with the wording different would keep anyone from hearing the words of Jesus and keeping them.

Out of context? What would the context of every word that proceed with out of the mouth of God be other than what it says?

First it's rather disheartening that any time someone innocently asks about Bible translation, that the kjv only cult uses it as an opportunity to spew their rhetoric.
As for the question, I usually use the NASB, however as of late I have been using the ESV. I used to read Young's literal, but that one is difficult to read.
The KJV only cult has pretty much turned completely away from that version with their mindless assault on every person who prefers something different, it's like they want to brow beat everyone into their cult.

You are not making your point perfectly understandable. If one reads from the ESV they are not missing out on words Jesus says for them to keep. They would still be able to know what God's word is, even if 1 John 5:7-8 is different, so your point is not a point at all. 1 John 5:7-8 wording being different in ESV will in no way result in one not knowing the words of God, or Christ.

I consult the Interlinear and the Berean Literal Bible. However, I also look at any given verse in the other translations, listing them in parallel so that I can see how each one translates the verse at the same time. Example:

New International Version
The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

New Living Translation
This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants the events that must soon take place. He sent an angel to present this revelation to his servant John,

English Standard Version

This is has nothing to do with salvation, there’s more to the Christian life than salvation.

If you keep Gods word, God will reveal himself to you, if you don’t keep his words, he won’t because he can’t, he can’t because the revelation of Jesus Christ in his words.
