Yet Paul says that it really bugs him that even though he doesn't want to, he keeps on sinning.

No doubt...the things I say I am going to do I do not do and the things I say I am not going to do that I do.......also...when I go to do good I find a law that SIN is PRESENT with me....oh what a wretched man I AM<-----all in present tense...amazes me how people like him and others reject this truth in favor of they never sin and are all holy and righteous and a bag of LAYS chips!

No. The majority of Romans 7 is Paul talking from his perspective as a Jew who obeyed the Law of Moses before he was a Christian. For he gives us the solution to overcoming sin by mentioning Jesus Christ at the end of the chapter. For if such was not the case, then Paul would be contradicting himself then. For in Romans 7:14 he says he is sold under sin and in Romans 8:2 he says he is free from sin. So which is it? Is Paul double minded? No, of course not. He merely was talking from two different perspectives. One as an unsaved law abiding Jew and the other as a a man justified by faith in Jesus Christ who walked after the Spirit.

The blood did not get on the doorposts all by itself. It took faith for the Israelties to do that. For it was their faith in action. For Hebrews 11 talks about faith as both a belief and as an action. Even James says that faith without works is a dead kind of faith. So if one's faith is dead, can it access is the grace of God?
James is talking about our faith being seen by men based upon our outward actions.....PAUL said our faith without the works is put to our account for rightousness BEFORE GOD.....wake up..FAITH is a SPIRITUAL GIFT and NO ONE can EARN FAITH as the works are the result of the faith ONE already POSSESSES as a GIFT from GOD......man...your theology lacks any creedence and that is why MOST on here think you are missing the mark!

No way. James says one's religion is in vain if they do not bridle their tongue. So no, James meant what he said. Faith without works is dead. Yes, works are for men to see, but that does not get us off the hook. How so? Well, because we live in a world full of men and we are to let the light of Christ shine unto them. For if Christ lives in a person, then fruit will naturally flow thru their life. If they sin all the time, then they are showing that they have a different master (other than Christ).

For no man can serve two masters.

The Bible says when I see the BLOOD I was pass over you.... Not... When I see the blood AND your faith in action in your sincere hearts, your clean house, your well cared for family, your kindness, goodness and love......I will pass over you..... If they only had the blood on the door posts that would is the ONLY thing that saved them from the death angel.

They could have been sincere hard working moral, kind, loving people in those homes without the blood and that death angel would have come and they would have died in all their good works and good intentions. Just like us today without Jesus.,

Here is where God's law and mercy are found together...

View attachment 127114
That reminded me of this:

When I Survey the Wondrous Cross

When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of Glory died
My richest gain I count but loss
And pour contempt on all my pride

Forbid it Lord that I should boast
Save in the death of Christ my God
All the vain things that charm me most
I sacrifice them to His blood

See from His head His hands His feet
Sorrow and love flow mingled down
Did e'er such love and sorrow meet
Or thorns compose so rich a crown

Were the whole realm of nature mine
That were an offering far too small
Love so amazing so divine
Demands my soul
Demands my soul
Love demands my soul
My life my all

I won't quote all of your post, for it's all Greek to me LOL

It's Greek. Let's go back further in the original language of Jesus day and see what the Aramaic says, which I quoted before in post 83 without the 2nd translation of the Greek Septuagint 2 or 300 years later.

just-me, are you using the AENT?

Faulty logic. What do you think would have happened if the Israelites did not put their faith in action by placing the blood on the door posts?

Your gospel does not concern itself with striving not to sin. It over-emphasizes grace covering one's evil. Thus, it is the opposite of what is holy and good. So no. You have things reversed and backwards.

No I think I have it right...it is you friend who has it backwards.........and your above statement is more lies or a misrepresentation of the facts......and you have NO CLUE what I do or don't do in my life, what I have turned from to and or how I walk....your problem is you cannot accept the fact that you are in error, wrong and not open to learning and or instruction.......you sin every day, you make Christ out to be a lair, you deny the words of Paul, John and Jesus all the while promoting some coined phrase and theology that is foreign to the bible while trying to support it with real world examples that have no bearing on the truth.........as a matter of fact..many have shown you the error of your ways and theology and you blindly and in pride refuse to open your eyes to your own error!

You are just stating how you are right and how I am wrong and you are not telling me why according to the Bible. You gotta give me a little more meat to go on then that (if you expect me and or others to believe you).

MAny have given you the meat and maybe that is the problem....salvation is the milk and you seem to be choking on the meat........

It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that BELIEVE<----MILK...believe and be saved

Not by works, religion, church membership, immersion etc.......BELIEVE and BE SAVED!

Aren't you glad that Christ spilt His Blood on the Cross?

No. While baptism, and church membership does not save, if one does not bear fruit by allowing the Lord to move within them, then one is not saved because they are rebelling against God wanting to do the "good work" in them. So yes, we are not saved by our works. We are saved by God allowing the Lord to do the good work within us. But if there is no change in one's life and one is still the old man, then they are not born again spiritually and they are not a new creature in Christ. Meaning, they are not saved. Again, read Hebrews 11. It uses the word "faith" as both an action and a belief.

No wrong...your saved by faith and acknowledging Christ and his work on your behalf!

The author of Hebrews says Jesus became the author of eternal salvation to all who OBEY Him.

Jesus said, why do you call me Lord, Lord, and do not what I say?

Also Ephesians 4:17-27 says this...

17 "This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil."
