Guess what?

I will not be responding to your posts anymore as you seem to delight in preaching at people instead of listening

You don't have a clue what is in my heart or mind...but God does and that is what actually matters

you are simply offended and that is why you state I insulted you

you twisted my post and yet I should ignore that in order to please you?

honey, you are not Paul. You don't give the word as Paul did. Your word does not mean anything to me. You are not my teacher and not the Holy Spirit

respectfully, this forum is for discussion...not condemning people and twisting their words so that you can condemn them multiple times

I don't know how you think the Holy Spirit is leading you when you cannot even understand what I wrote in simple language

salut

Do as you will as you are the one who constantly has been insulting me, as I have never insulted you one bit.

No I am not Paul but I do as the Holy Spirit has guided me to do, and God's Holy Word says to do. Once again I said I imitate Paul as he imitates Jesus, and this is in the bible. Yes I do give the word as Paul did, and it is very easy to see in reading the word that Paul warned believers of continuing in sinful ways, and was not talking to unbelievers when he did that.

I am not condemning anybody so that is another false allegation, that condemnation has come from you and a couple others who claim that me and others do not have the Lord our God .

I am not offended at all, but yes you did insult me even though you may not see it that way.
Here is your quote;

"You also seem to suffer from either poor reading ability or poor comprehension ability because I have obviously been in favor of forgivness as evidenced by my posts."

That first part there is an insult because I have studied the word well, and let the Holy Spirit guide me in the truth as the word clearly says He will.

By love we are to guide others out of false teachings and doctrines, and you may not like that but the bible does give us this right !!!

I get a lot of good material in my morning email that has to do with grace. I have noticed that many Christians are living without taking hold of grace. Living instead under law trying to please God by their works when the only way to please God is by faith in His Son Jesus finished work on the cross and giving all glory to Him for our daily walk as believers. Without Him, we can do nothing. As Jesus said, I am the vine, you are the branches.

The old covenant is not for the new testament believer who is instead under grace since Jesus died on the cross and made the atoning sacrifice for our sins. We do not live under the law, we live under grace. Another example of this is in the book of Job. Job was an old testament saint who didn't have a Mediator although he wished he did. The devil had a place to stand before God and condemn Adam's race. he cannot occupy that place today because Jesus is now seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. The devil can only accuse us from here in our minds and conscience. Jesus has given us the gift of no condemnation. Many Christians today do not know this. Grace explains how we can have righteousness without deserving it. Because Christ imputed His righteousness to us and our sin was imputed to Him. The only reason we have access to the Father is because of Jesus, not our good works or good conscience. Many believers do not take hold of what has been bought by the blood of Jesus.

The book of Job tells us that Satan came to God’s throne and complained about Job. (Job 1:6–12) God’s throne is the most holy place. So why did God allow Satan to come before Him?
Satan could come before God because Adam had given up his place when he bowed his knee to Satan in the garden of Eden. (Genesis 3) So Satan had the right to take Adam’s place and come before God.
But praise God, Jesus, the last Adam, has come! And the sprinkling of His blood has cleansed the things of heaven. (Hebrews 9:22–24) His blood has cleansed and redeemed the unclean place where Satan walked and stood before God. There remains, therefore, no place in heaven for Satan. He cannot come before God any more to accuse you.
Who then, is in God’s presence today? Jesus! He is there for us. (Hebrews 9:24) And since He is for us, “Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.” (Romans 8:34)
So what happened to Job cannot happen to you. Job longed for a mediator, but he had none. (Job 9:33) His dream is our reality. Today, we have Jesus as our Mediator making intercession for us! (1 Timothy 2:5)
However, since the devil cannot come before God any more, he comes to you on earth and accuses you in your conscience. His greatest tool is deception because he has no real power. (Colossians 2:15) He has to deceive you into thinking that God is against you, that He is angry with you because you have failed Him, or that your sickness or poverty is God’s punishment for your sins.
My friend, don’t fall for the devil’s lies. If it is God who justifies you, no one can bring a charge against you! Satan cannot come before God to accuse you. Instead, you have free access to God’s throne of grace to “obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need”. (Hebrews 4:16) Jesus’ holy blood has given you perfect standing in the presence of God!

The more I read the Bible with the understanding of the new covenant taking place of the old the more clear Scripture has become. When we don't rightly divide the Word of Truth, we don't know which promises are ours or we do not realize most importantly what Jesus did for us when He died on the cross. The old testament gave so many pictures of the coming of the perfect Lamb of God. The blood of bulls and goats and all that blood flowing that only made a temporary
covering before the cross of Jesus.

The whole reason we can say there is no condition on having God's forgiveness once we are Christians is because our forgiveness rests in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. When Jesus talked to His disciples, He still dealt with them according to the law as He taught them the perfection of the law in reality... if you hate your brother you commit murder. That is the true spirit of the law in all it's perfection. No one can do the law but Jesus.

When Jesus said if you won't forgive your brother, God will not forgive you... that is BEFORE He paid for our forgiveness IN FULL. Most Christians do not see the difference and therefore do not rightly divide these truths and are living under the old conditions of the law.

Forgiveness under the new covenant is we are to forgive others as we have been forgiven. No conditions, freely we have received, freely we are to give. The only way we can is by His example in grace. Grace teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts...how to live soberly, righteously and Godly in this present age... Grace teaches us this... not law. Law used to be our school master but now we have the Holy Spirit within us. Major difference from the old testament saints who did not have the Holy Spirit in them. Another difference from the old covenant to the new covenant. As I read about the blood sacrifices of the old covenant, it speaks loudly of the differences of the perfect sacrifice of Jesus and how it is not repeated again. We live under the power of an endless life.,

In the Old Testament, three types of burnt offerings were brought to God. I believe that the rich brought offerings of young bulls (Leviticus 1:3), the not-so-rich brought sheep (Leviticus 1:10) and the poor brought turtledoves. (Leviticus 1:14) Though of varying sizes and values, the different burnt offerings were all accepted as sweet aroma to the Lord. (Leviticus 1:9, 13, 17)

These burnt offerings speak of Jesus and His perfect work at the cross. Today, to bring a “rich” offering means that you have a large revelation of Jesus and His finished work. To bring a “not-so-rich” offering means that you have a smaller revelation of Jesus and His finished work. But whatever the size of the revelation you have of Jesus, God accepts you just the same because Jesus is the only measure of your acceptance before God.

However, God wants you to grow in your revelation of Jesus because your well-being hinges on it. Before that first Passover night, all the children of Israel had received the same Word of God—“when I see the blood, I will pass over you”. (Exodus 12:13) But I believe that some households lived through that night trembling in fear as they heard the loud wails outside their homes, while other households rested in God’s Word, ate their Passover lamb and spent the night rejoicing in His protection, deliverance and love for them.

You see, as long as the households came under the blood, they were all saved, trembling or not! But when they didn’t have a revelation of the power of the blood to save them from the destroyer, fear came in even though the blood availed for them. In the same way, God does not want you to struggle through trying times with fear, apprehension and stress. He wants you to enjoy and rest in a greater revelation of Jesus as your deliverer and salvation.

In 2 Peter 1:2, it says, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you…” God wants you to experience more of His grace and peace in your life. How? The verse continues, “…in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord”. The more knowledge of Jesus you have, the more God’s grace and peace will rest on you!

Of course! Yet Ladylynn gave the scriptural basis how to succeed at it. Not by the focus of the law but of the focus of the life found in the law. And by that experiential ongoing filling of Jesus in us we but ooze out the law that builds and nurtures and represents Gods glorious truths. Its not a either or issue. Its a regeneration of effectiveness in accomplishing it. I no longer need to heed the issues of the law, I need to sit in Christ....period. The Spirit of God thru the Holy Spirit is not just a dweller that sits after we figure it out and apply the principles, The Spirit is both a builder and a dweller. He cannot dwell where He has not built; He builds to dwell and dwells in ONLY what He has built.

When I hear people talk about the need to work toward Gods laws, Not only am I reminded of the Romans Chapters, I am also reminded of the Satanic position. All Satanic works are performed from the outside inward; all divine works from the inside outward. The question isn't what should I do...its who's in me?!!! And do I recognize who He is, verses what I am not.

It seems that whenever I see God represented thru His Word .... there is always one that quickly follows it with a challenge or cornering of the position. Not just as a question, but as a statement. It has burdened my Spirit to see this, yet I am not unaware of the way in which it works in life.

When I hear people say, for instance, "Those people"...or,..."It figures, he's always done that!...", or simply, "Stop it, don't you know that most people in here don't agree!"....etc etc..I feel the Spirit of condemnation and control. A dividing control, not a godly Spirit. It makes me think of who's in control of us? The Lord continued His teaching on the matter of authority when He called His disciples together and instructed them about future things in glory. He said that, among the Gentiles, men seek for authority in order that they may rule over others. It is good for us to seek for the future glory, but we ought not have the thought of ruling or lording it over Gods Children. To do so would cause us to fall into the state of the Gentiles. Such a Spirit must be driven from the Church.

Those whom the Lord uses are the ones who know the Lords cup and the Lords baptism. When I feel the righteous posse a comin I don't feel the Lord alovin!

A drowning man cannot be saved until he is utterly exhausted and ceases to make the slightest effort to save himself, and in the same way we struggle with forgiveness and a scattering of other issues until we arrive at this point. But, praise be to Jesus, when we do we but ooze out forgiveness not despite ourselves, but because of Him that has changed us from within. How is it wrong for God to ask that this be so if it is not us but The Son of God that delivers His expectations? And what Spirit has us debate the premise of this foundational request?

When the Lord instructed us to forgive, it was for us. When you truly forgive, you let go of the hurt, the anger and the resentment thus restoring your peace of mind.

Yes, and the law of Christ in 1 Cor. 9:21 is totally different from the law of Mosses. Paul had broken with the law of Moses but he was not lawless, but under the law of Christ.
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. There are so many verses about "Law" that give the comparisons of new and old. We have a new and living way.

forgiveness must not be a burden

Jesus says to forgive from the heart...we can only forgive as He has forgiven us

Jesus is the only way to the Father

We cannot make our own way
Why do you wrongfully assume that I am trying to make my own way? Jesus does the good works thru a believer. A believer can do nothing in and of themselves. There is none good but God. For the Lord helps a person to obey His Commands. God's ways are never burdensome. They are easy and light once a person is born again by the Spirit by the fact that they have repented of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ for real.

Ezekiel 36:26-27 says God will give us a new heart and a new spirit and then He will put His Spirit within us so as to keep His Commands. I believe that verse still applies. Not for us to keep the Law of Moses but for us to keep the Law of Christ in the New Testament. So Matthew 6:15 still must be obeyed. It's not a negotiation. It's not a suggestion. It's a command from our Lord that has consequences if we refuse to obey that command. But once a person is born again, and Christ is living in them, doing such things as forgiving others becomes natural to the new man. But does this mean that once a person accepts Christ, their free will is taken away? No. A person who accepts Christ still has a choice to walk away from Christ and disobey His Commands and refuse the working of His Spirit in their life.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. There are so many verses about "Law" that give the comparisons of new and old. We have a new and living way.
Before Paul became a Christian, he said in Romans 7:14 that he was sold under sin. Yet after Paul announces Jesus Christ is the solution at the end of Romans chapter 7, he says in Romans 8:2 that he is free from sin because of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. He is free from the Law of Moses in the fact that he does not have to struggle with trying to obey and old system of Commands that is no longer binding anymore and by the fact that he would not be killed by other believers according to the written Word if he did break the Old Law. For in the Old Testmanet the penalty for breaking certain laws was death. Also, Romans 6:14 says sin shall not have dominion over you. Meaning that with Jesus Christ, you no longer have to be a slave to your sinful passions and or lusts anymore. You can conquer sin because it will be Christ doing so thru you (If you yield and or surrender to Him). But does the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus give a person a license to sin or to break God's Commands (Like Matthew 6:15) with the thinking they are saved? No. Read Romans 8:1. It says there is no Condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus who WALK not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. So.... in order to not be under the Condemnation, what must you do? WALK after the Spirit. That's right. Not after the flesh. For Romans 8:1 says you cannot walk after the flesh. For walking after the flesh leads to death. For to be carnally minded is death (Romans 8:6). For they that are in the flesh cannot please God (Romans 8:8).

Please read in context....
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Understanding that once you are IN Christ you have been bought with a price, changed.,born again, made righteous., there is no condemnation IN Christ. Paul is stating that God has no adverse sentence against us once we accept Him. All our punishment has been placed on Jesus and we don't bear it.

A Christian who still walks in condemnation is being condemned by the devil or is condemning himself. It is not God who condemns us (Rom. 8:34)
Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God who also intercedes for us. 35. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword?

read on to the end of the chapter about how no height or depth or any other creature (including yourself) is able to separate us from the love of God IN Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sin shall not have dominion over you for you are not under law but under grace. Not under law anymore but under GRACE. unmerited favor., made righteous by Christ not by our flesh.

A note, Romans 8:1 has the added sentence - who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit.... It is however in vs. 4 not in Romans 8:1., it was added in vs. 1. That is a fact to look into. I did and was again amazed how there is no condemnation because of Jesus and His grace given freely to us. God wants us assured.

Perhaps this shall close this thread in a peaceful way hopefully.

Hebrews 5:9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation,

God is Good Always, Let God be true amen.
Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you, and you be proven a liar.”

No. Even if you were to try and eliminate part of Romans 8:1, you can see the same thing elsewhere in the Bible.

"And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;" (Hebrews 5:9).

Why do YOU assume I even read most of your posts...no worries...I don't because I don't believe personal interpretation such as yours, is valid.

for all your talk about how good God is, let's be honest here...you speak about how good you are in your sinless perfection to the point where I wonder where God fits in

You know, the Bible speaks for itself. You have corrupted what the scriptures say countless times and you attempt to correct anyone who does not bow the knee to your version of grace.

Honestly, after just reading some of your comments in your "Samson' thread, I'm not sure if you are for comedic relief or you have driven over the cliff and are trying to put the wreck back together again like Humpty Dumpty

I'm not having this conversation with you because it is not a conversation. You are trying to CONVERT which is not the same as CONVERSE

putting you back on ignore so I won't respond so go ahead be as outrageous in your response as you usually are, assuming we are lost but for you

what did people 100 years ago do without you to primp and fancy them up in your version of the gospel...all you are actually doing, is trying to create a bunch of little jasons...people in your own image...because you certainly do not display the image of Christ for all your saying that you do

Unfortunately some try to divorce grace from law as if the two do not mix, like oil and water. When in fact the two do mix, they go together like hand in glove.

Grace and law went together like hand in glove under the OT:

Deut 7:12 "Therefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments and keep and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which He swore unto thy fathers."

"IF" they obey God's judgments, keep them and do them then they would receive God's mercy. They would not earn God's mercy by keeping and doing God's judgment but reception of the free gift of mercy included/required obedience.

Likewise grace and law go together under the NT:

God's grace hath appeared to all men, (Tts 2:11) yet all men will not be saved for all men will not obey Christ (Heb 5:9). Obeying does not earn the grace but reception of the free gift of grace includes/requires obeying.

Actually, I will say one more thing to you Jason

YOU did not start this thread. BUT you have seeded it with your heresy and taken it over

Yes, all eyes are now on Jason.....NOT Jesus and what HE has done for us

which brings me back to the reason I have stated I have put you on ignore and I surely wish everyone else would too

whatever purpose this thread had, whatever chance at discussing God's grace or forgiveness actually was availaible, has been snatched up by you and distorted into another one of your personal jason gospel opps

so sad...you KILL whatever other people might have to say and direct the thread into your own purposes and suck up all the air in the room

yuck

don't get confused and think I hate you either...I hate what you do though

When you posted this with my posting above you, I was confused. Did you post my entry as a support or a conflict to your position? For I completely support Grace and laws co-existence, and cooperative abilities.

Grace means the God does something for me; law means that I do something for God. God has certain holy and righteous demands which He places upon me; this is law. Now if law means that God requires something of me for their fulfillment, then deliverance from law means He no longer requires that from me, but Himself provides it.

The law requires much, but offers no help in the carrying out of its requirements. The Lord Jesus requires just as much, yea even more....[Matt. 5:21-48], but what He requires from us He Himself carries out in us. The law makes demands and leaves us helpless to fulfill them; Christ makes demands, but He Himself fulfills in us the very demands He makes.

God's requirements have not altered but we are not the ones to meet them. Praise God He is the lawgiver on the throne and the law keeper in my heart. He who gave the law, Himself keeps it. From start to finish He does it all. As humans do we sometimes bobble in that perfect victory-yes. But it is not inevitable if we remain in Him, only probable..

We were saved by grace-lest no man should boast. We remain in grace- If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness, restoring us to that life bearing position once more..And by grace He battles our foe for us to take away the merit based on attempt and now requires victory based on His History and accomplishments., He gracefully, patiently, lovingly, finishes what He started in us, filling in the areas of our lives that are not yet Him.
