words of Jesus:
Jhn 8:31, Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Jhn 8:32, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Jhn 8:33, They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
Jhn 8:34, Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
Jhn 8:35, And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
Jhn 8:36, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
words of the Spirit of Jesus:
1Jo 3:4, Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Amen
“What then?
shall we sin,
because we are not under the law, but
under grace? God forbid.
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death,
or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that
ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. ( the gospel ) Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.”
Romans 6:15-18 KJV
yep agreed
the doctrine of Christ sets us free from sin because it
circumcises the heart ,totally agree . We need to walk in the faith of the gospel. Baptism is a part of that faith we have as Christians
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and
preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Mark 16:15-16
that’s what we believe and preach and live after and learn from and follow and will Be judged by
the law going back to this is a yoke
No One should try to bear
“Now we know that
what things soever the law saith, it saith to
them who are under the law: that
every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore
by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
Romans 3:19-20
Listen to Peter when confronted with this question
“But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?”
Acts 15:5-10 KJV
but listen to Paul explaining how we’re delivered from that yoke
“But
now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and
not in the oldness of the letter.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay,
I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.”
Romans 7:6-10 KJV
We are
Made alive again without the law in Christ
“But now
the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even
the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:”
Romans 3:21-22 KJV
should accept deliverance from The law repent and follow the gospel that Jesus preached thats who promises eternal
Life and mercy , forgiveness , eternal
Life after death it’s all Found in christs word that’s all I know for sure Jesus word is the only way to know and believe the kingdom of God.
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
Matthew 24:14 KJV
and the law can’t help a free person be free it’s always going to be a yoke and also going to be a subversion and issue for the person who needs and accepts the unnecassary yoke
“And after they had held their peace,
James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:
he instructs this letter and decision.
…Forasmuch as
we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:”
Acts 15:13, 24 KJV
there were always Pharisees Who believed and tried to add the law of
Moses to the gospel but the apostles shut it down early on and said it was about christs judgements in the gospel not Moses in the law
“And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and
to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.”
Acts 10:42
Just my thoughts the law is something we need to leave behind or well
Always be yoked to
Sin
