Just one thing as you mention John 1:1, if I look at the interlinear translation:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God , and the Word was God.”

- THE saying (word) = ho logos (THE = ho = definite article)

-AND THE saying (word) = kai ho logos (THE = ho = definite article)

- WAS TOWARD THE God = En pros ton theon (THE = ton = definite article)

- AND God WAS THE saying (word) =kai theos En ho logos (God = theos =no article meaning indefinite article = a = a god / THE = ho = definite article)

- When you start learning modern Greek, the first thing you learn is the different use of the definite and indefinite articles.

- If you want to say the boy, you always employ the definite article before the noun.

- If you want to say a boy, you can employ one or nothing, there is no difference. So to say “a boy” they say “boy” or “one boy”.

- In Ancient Greek there was no indefinite article so to say “a boy” they would say “boy”
yeah read the whole chapter one though is the way to inderrrsnd what the verses mean see take wha the there and consider things it says like this

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:1-4, 9-14, 16-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

do you see how now it’s not about whether we read on Greek or Hebrew or English but the message is clear what’s being said there ? In either Hebrew Greek or English look at what’s being said about “ the word “ rather than worrying about Greek and Hebrew and English what’s being taught about the word ?

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him”

already it’s beginning to declare something powerful about this “ word “ right ?

In him was life; ( notice this word is now being referred to as a single person ) and the life was the light of men.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. ( that’s really a powerful statement he is the creator of all things )

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.( now we’ve read that anyone that receives the word is receiving the power to be born again as gods child, not by flesh and blood but by God who is spirit )

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, ( finally we see that this word whom was god in the beginning and created all things was made flesh and dwelt among us ) full of grace and truth.

And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”

Christ is where God is fully manifest to the world in one person

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The gospel is about the fulfillment of the prophets who said God would be born in the flesh and dwell among the people in the form of a son born of a virgin to the line of David , the line of Abraham

It’s the truth about when God was manifest fully in the flesh to mankind and invited all to believe and be saved

This is Paul talking about Jesus

“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The is about creation the new os about the coming kingdom of God not of this world but of his promise
