• The serpent first told her that she would not die!
• Thus he accused Yah.weh of being a liar!
• Whereas he was the liar!
• Then he tried to attract her attention to something she didn’t have, the possibility to be like Yah.weh, having the knowledge of good and bad!
• And Eve thought about it and decided to eat the fruit!
• Then she gave it to her husband!
• It was her personal choice!
• It was her free will!
• She had no excuse!
• In fact, it was the same with Adam!
• They were perfect but it didn’t prevent them from going away from Yah.weh!
• What about us?
• We make our own choices!
• We can’t accuse others if we do something wrong or if we do nothing because of the others!
• We must check!

• And the way Ruth speaks is incredible!
• And with Rahab, they are among the women mentioned in Jesus’ genealogy and they are foreigners which is quite exceptional!

Genesis chapter 3:20

• Adam’s wife received the name of Eve because she became the mother of all human beings!

• She made a personal choice and it had many consequences on mankind!

• Of course, Adam could have decided to stay faithful to Yah.weh!

• And it would have changed everything!

• But he decided to follow his wife in her rebellion!

• Once again, it shows that WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHOICES WE MAKE!

• AND WE CAN’T ACCUSE THE OTHERS!

• IT DOESN’T WORK!

What is the gleaning behind the harvesters?

“Gleaning” was the practice of going into a recently-harvested field and picking up whatever grain remained. God commanded Israel in Leviticus 19:9-10 to deliberately leave some behind for the poor and needy of the land to get food.
