I'm not saying he could not have.

I'm just saying that every indication supplied IN THE TEXT does NOT suggest that it was (UP IN Heaven). I named only one (Satan's response, which did NOT say, "FROM THE EARTH")
understood. thanks. :)

On the contrary, scriptures do tell us what Gods image is by informing us that He is a spirit, and that He is love.
Quote them. Make sure the quotations include something like, "the image of God is...".

Where in the Bible does it say angels create/created anything?
Of course angels do not create anything, but that is not the issue. The issue is whether they procreated and produced giants, mighty men, and men of renown, and the Bible confirms that. Please note that *sons of God* is repeated twice and contrasted with *the daughters of men*.

GENESIS 6
1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

We can ask a hundred questions about this, but the key to understanding this is the imprisonment of these angels. That is always mentioned in connection with sexual sins.

2 PETER 2
4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, [Tartarus] and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned themwith an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds:
9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

JUDE 1
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Please note *in like manner* which connects the sexual sins of the angels with the sexual sins of Sodom and Gomorrah -- *going after strange flesh*.

If the Lord informs me that He is spirit and non corporal, I then know that His image is not that of a physical being.
If the Lord informs me that He is love, I then recognize His spiritual image.

When the Lord informs me in the book of Revelation that people are going to worship the image of the beast; I understand this image in a spiritual sense where people are going to worship what they see the beasts system representing to them.

Love is an attribute of God.
In effect you deny and do not believe Gods Word by claiming love as an attribute of God, rather than God comprising Love as indicated in 1 John 4:8 & 16.

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

No denial on my part.

While you insist that God is love only, you deny what is written in John 4:24 which indicates God is Spirit, even going to far as to change what is written from "God is a Spirit" to "Yes, they who worship love, must worship love in their spirit and in truth" in Post #52.

Do you believe John 4:24 God is a Spirit ...?

Do you believe Galatians 5:22 the fruit of the Spirit is love ...?

From Thayer's Greek lexicon (underline, bold mine):

1 John 4:8 ὁ Θεός ἀγάπηἐστιν God is wholly love, his nature is summed up in love

Love I believe is the greatest image we have of the Lord. I also, however, see Gods image being truth, light, forbearance, and a few other attributes.
To answer your questions: Yes God is a Spirit, and yes the fruit of the Spirit is love.

[…]
JUDE 1
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Please note *in like manner* which connects the sexual sins of the angels with the sexual sins of Sodom and Gomorrah -- *going after strange flesh*.
First of all, might we consider that the thing that "not having kept[-in-tact] their own domain [G746] but having left their own dwelling [G3613]" could possibly mean, is that they were wanting to go "higher" rather than "down lower" (to humans), especially if you consider that Isaiah 14:12-20's "Lucifer" refers to "Satan" (if you do) and his 5 "I will's" ? ("I will ascend into heaven" … "above the heights of the clouds"... "I will be like the most High," etc)...

And then, where it says, "in like manner," I think it says, "in like manner with them"... meaning (in connection with the previous part of this same verse), the cities surrounding Sodom and Gomorrah were doing the same things they were doing "in like manner with them"... and that was, "giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh" (which that last phrase could mean, "going after those who were not their own wives/spouses"--Adam said of his own wife, "this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of MY flesh"--"'other flesh' not of his own flesh" would have been another's wife [had there been other ppl at the time, which I realize there was not, but you get my point, I trust]). That's how I'm seeing it. :) Now the first word in the sentence "As" does compare what is stated in the previous verse, but not this "in like manner with them" WITHIN the one verse (which is just telling how both Sodom/Gomorrah AND the cities surrounding them, did the same thing...)

Have you ever considered that the image of God referenced in Gen 1:26-27 could be Spirit and that as such love being a fruit of the Spirit would have emanated from Adam and Eve prior to the fall?

In Gen 5:3 we read that Adam begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth and that Seth's image / likeness was after Adam's (in Adam's fallen state)?

All descendants of Adam are begotten in the likeness / image of their parents. I was born in the image / likeness of my father and mother. Who knows how many generations we are from Adam?

However, once a person is born again, he/she is a new creation in Christ (2 Cor 5:17).

There is the carnal perspective for an image and there is a spiritual perspective for an image.
Yes, the offspring of people will often have physical traits of their parents, but what has this carnal image have to do with an image of the Lord which is spiritual; i.e., love, truth, justice, patience, etc.?

All was corrupted at the fall.

I only asked if you had considered what was set forth in Post #89. If you have studied along those lines and reject it as "carnal" that is one thing. But if you have not considered it, that is another matter.

Maybe none will read the first seven or so chapters that Jude quotes but here it is anyway,,, https://www.sacred-texts.com/bib/boe/index.htm

The image of God referneced in Genesis 1:26-27 is Spirit; and the fruit of the Spirit (love) emanating from Adam and Eve, would have been Gods image in them, both prior to their fall, as well as after their fall.
Was not God's image of love in subsequent generations?
Of course love was, but man mostly rejected love in favor for the curse which man chose in the garden by believing the devil and not God.

Was there any difference in Adam / Eve after the fall?

It appears to me that you believe there was no difference in mankind after the fall.

However, we know from Gen 2:17 that God told Adam in the day he ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, dying he would die:

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

In the Hebrew, the words "thou shalt surely die" literally mean "dying you shall die".

The spiritual death of Adam and Eve in the day they ate of the tree eventually resulted in their physical death.

Yes, when Adam chose the devil's lie over the Lord, Adam then died spiritually.
Does this mean that Adam and Eve were no longer in Gods image of love?
What about all of Eves offspring described as the sons of God, were these sons of love not in the image of love?

I don't see why, when we are told what happened, that people jump to their own decisions about history, rewriting it.

There were fallen angels, it is what we are told. 200 fallen angels, who were called devils, had children with human women and those children were Nephilim. Scripture tells us it was a horde, other writings say it was 200.

These children were so evil and so large they took the food from humans. They made life so tough for God's people that God gave us the flood to get rid of them. However there were still Nephilim alive after the flood.

numbers 13:33 33 We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”

11 (Og king of Bashan was the last of the Rephaites. His bed was decorated with iron and was more than nine cubits long and four cubits wide.

Demons are the disembodied souls of a dead Nephilim. They always seek to reside inside of someone. even pigs. Mat_8:31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

The original fallen angels who fathered them were of the order of angels who could take on human form.

Yes, when Adam chose the devil's lie over the Lord, Adam then died spiritually.
In agreement. I believe the image of God is Spirit. At the time Adam and Eve fell, that image of God within them died (Gen 2:17 - dying you shall die). They then were physically alive (body and soul). They were spiritually dead.

Love (the agapē love of God) being the fruit of the Spirit was reduced to the love mankind has:

Phileō – Matthew 6:5

Philadelphia – Romans 12:10

Philargyria – 1 Timothy 6:10

Philandros – Titus 2:4

Philoteknos – Titus 2:4

Philanthrōpia – Titus 3:4

Philadelphos – 1 Peter 3:8

As future generations of Eve are described as the sons of God, indicating they were in the Lords image, I will then have to believe that Adam and Eve continued in Gods image of love.
