God chooses to love in spite of the many things he hates.
For example when he looked upon me I was a murderer, adulterer, blasphemer, liar, and so on.
Yet the Lord chose to love me, when he was in fact righteous in letting me die in my sins.
The final judgement of man is based on one thing. The rejection of his son Jesus Christ.
We all were born sinners through Adam but the refusal to repent to heed the word of the Lord leaves God no choice.
The rejection of Christ is the blasphemy that cannot be forgiven.
There were 3 words that saved Adam that day in the garden..."here I am" as the Lord called Adam so he calls on all of man kind.
Jesus points to the days of Noah as a example of the people who were left behind and perished in the flood.
As Noah preached for 120 yrs with his hands busy building what God had tasked him to do teaching his sons and daughter in law to do the same. Yet the rejection of the remaining populist grew into continuous evil. Rejecting what was plain in there sight. Plain in there hearing.
The flood waters came, the cries of the people, men women and children could be heard for miles, all wanting now to enter in but too late. The door was shut.
Do you really think God had pleasure in that???
As Jesus said it shall be the same in the last days. A sudden destruction, devastation like no other, fire instead of water.
