John 6 70 Jesus clearly states " did I not CHOOSE you? yet on of you IS a devil. so he new when he choose judas what was in is heart.

some people can not get out of the way of their own self righteousness to understand, God knew us before we were even born, we can not fool God, and never will do anything he did not already know long before we were born we would do.

They want to humanize God in order to puff themselves up. They are no different than the pagan, or the religious jew, or the islamic people who bring God down to their own level. and fail to repent and bow down to Gods true level.

and they use immorality as their reason

...and the fact that they obsess over the idea of a person losing their salvation is a pretty huge tell, about how tenuous they feel their relationship with God to be. Getting into some really advanced defense mechanisms with a person, who's sees their sole mission in life is to keep beating this dead horse while putting themselves on a pedestal.

the sad part is they do not see themselves as doing this, It is why the lie is so powerful. They honestly think they are doing Gods will (much like Saul when he went around killing Christians for God) . which is why it is so hard for them to repent.

As scripture says, he comes as an angel of light. It looks good it may even feel good. but the end result is destruction.

Is this your get out clause to the questions mentioned in my previous posts?. It appears to me that what helps people to overcome their issues (be it what they are) is God's Holy Spirit?.

But here's something interesting, many religious organizations and the people believe in the existence of the Abrahamic God and all claim they have His Holy Spirit to guide them, so all i really need to do is choose which religious organization i want to be a part of?

Allahu Akbar
There is no relation with God unless we are approaching Him in and through His Son...Christ Jesus. When the Holy Spirit is at work, He glorifies the Son of God, Christ Jesus, and He also will reprove you of sin, righteousness and judgment.

So...drop the false religions of Islam and Judaism, all forms and shapes...because they cannot give you a personal relation with God, in right standing with Him.

John.16

[1] These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
[2] They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
[3] And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
[4] But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
[5] But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
[6] But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.
[7] Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
[8] And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
[9] Of sin, because they believe not on me;
[10] Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
[11] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
[12] I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
[14] He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[15] All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
1John.5

[1] Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
[2] By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
[3] For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
[4] For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
[5] Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
[6] This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
[7] For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
[8] And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
[9] If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
[10] He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
[11] And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
[12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

This is the problem with the thinking of the church today. Their moral compass is shut off when they read the Bible. If Judas was always lost, then not only would Jesus haved lied about the conditional promises to His disciples (Which I have provided verses for already), but He would have chosen an evil person to represent His good kingdom.
But Jason Jesus chose us who are evil to be His bride, His body, His representative.
And you have missed the point about the message. The message is the life not the believer. We are merely the vessel.

In your mind you think things are cut and dried, when everything is a kind of grey sludge, which when washed off will reveal the true work. For the saved it will be glorious, for the unsaved there will be nothing left. Until that day dawns no one will truly know, but that is the point, we do not need to know, we just need to learn love from the heart.

I cannot make someone be like this, I can but encourage, water and help Gods seed and fruit. Your problem is you want to be able to sort it out now, when that has never been the case.

Isn't it interesting how they lay in wait and are so eager to shed blood around here? They are easy to spot.

It does make you wonder about "growth" in the faith.

On the point about insecurity, my wife had a trauma about our daughter. She had a small lump, which ofcourse must be cancer, which then must be fatal, and must be dealt with today, or the end has come. Doctor had a look, no problems, just a lump. Now imagine if that was eternal life, every day heaven or hell, she would die of stress. If God did not lay unbelievable amounts of peace and joy in her heart, she would be a wreck.

Do these people not know how a parent reassures their children with praise and encouragement even over the smallest of things? OSAS sums up this encouragement, through the cross, which we need, because we need that love so so so much.

When you have spent your childhood being bullied, beaten and rejected, it is hard, I mean hard to accept you are unconditionally loved, but Jesus goes there, time and time again. Unfortunately the nit pickers are never satisfied, always want fault or failure, because the gate is lower, the path harder, and certainly you have only got 98% of our questionaire right, so no entry for you boyyo.....

and even more interesting is when people come on here and really do post false doctrine the " perfect " crowd says nothing. they would rather attack and belittle their brothers and sisters in Christ. interesting indeed.

While Judas lost his salvation by betraying the Lord and by committing suicide, If God didn't love Judas then Judas would not have benefited in any of the goodness from God. Yes, God loved him but it is not the same kind of love that God has for His faithful followers, though. Hence, why God chooses to reward those according to their deeds.
Judas could not lose something he did not have! he is dead and does not exist he knows nothing he is dead and that is why it is called death.

It is sad Sirk. They actually go into fields of others, pick others rocks and stone them with them. And those rocks fall back into their own untilled land.

And for the most part, I think they are sincere and think they are doing the work of God......but they are sincerely wrong.

I think some of them see the rocks, they just see them as a nuisance, not real bad. I they also look at the weeds and think they are beautiful flowers worthy of harvest,

Here in my town a few years ago, there were these types of people protesting at a large church carrying signs that said "so so church, purge your sinners".

They actually believe that sinners shouldn't be allowed to go to church. Pretty crazy stuff.

Jesus is talking past tense of how he has chosen the disciples. Then he says one of them is presently a "devil." This does not mean Judas was a devil when Jesus chose Judas. Judas was Christ's familar friend that betrayed him according to Psalm 41:9. You cannot betray someone if they were never in allegiance to you in the first place.

For example: I can say I bought a perfectly good new pair of shoes and yet also immediately say one of the shoes is bad by because part of the sole pealed back. This does not mean I picked a perfectly good pair of new shoes with one of them being bad intentionally.
