satan knows where your weapons are at, he knows who has them and he will tell

Ezekiel 28

1 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord God; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:

4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:

5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:

6 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

Satan turns his armies to the remnant who did not make it to the place of safety these people beleived in God but lack the knowledge to flee as the Lord instructed.

Revelation 12

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ

if you don't think satan know who is who and where they are at you are sadly mistaken

what about the commandments of God?

Exodus 20:13
Thou shalt not kill.

Deuteronomy 5:17Thou shalt not kill.

Matthew 5:20-22

King James Version (KJV)

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

being angry without a cause

Luke 18:20
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

Romans 13:8-10

8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

James 2:10-12

10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Thank you for posting those scriptures Skinski7. What a lot of people don't know is that this was Jewish secular law the same as all nations have their own secular law. It was codified by the Levite priests and has become known as God's law but in reality it is from the pens of human priests. You can read the full list here

613 commandments - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Scroll down the page a little way to get the full list. God said not the kill while these priests who the Pharisees followed had murder enshrined in Jewish law. That is very bad and goes to show how far away from God the Jewish nation had become.

It is interesting how so many are willing to use a tool designed to harm and kill to "Protect"
"Me thinks per chance that some people TOTALLY 'missed' the intent of this statement completely..."

Read it again...

;)

(I could be wrong.)

:)

.
Indeed - *I* may have been the one to "miss"...

(wwjd_kilden - "which way" did you mean this? I honestly am not sure.)

It could also be said:

It is interesting how so many are willing to use a tool that is meant to be used to "Protect" to harm and kill...
"It is all a matter of perspective."

I do not believe that this statement can be truly understood fully without also [first] having a good understanding of what MidniteWelder said in post #96.

:)

You are correct to talk about intent. The gun is the preferred tool. But it is the intent that worries me. The pictures we see of violence are dreadful, but if we could take a picture of a persons thoughts, then how much more dreadful must that be. I think we would be looking at a picture Satan?
dunno.
UK GOV'T is trying to take pictures of the citizen's thoughts.:)
just like Orwell said they would.

gov't scared of the ppl = generate STAZI - neighbor will turn in neighbor - cowards.

Britain is 'surveillance society'

Thursday, 2 November 2006

There are up to 4.2m CCTV cameras in Britain

Fears that the UK would "sleep-walk into a surveillance society" have become a reality, the government's information commissioner has said.

Richard Thomas, who said he raised concerns two years ago, spoke after research found people's actions were increasingly being monitored.

Researchers highlight "dataveillance", the use of credit card, mobile phone and loyalty card information, and CCTV.

Monitoring of work rates, travel and telecommunications is also rising.

There are up to 4.2m CCTV cameras in Britain - about one for every 14 people.

Out of context brother,
Anyway, I can see your viewpoint. It does appear that way a lot of times.
But most of us dont care about our stuff, or material possesions and its not that the gun is our God or takes Gods place.
What it is more is that yes we are called to live at peace if that be possible.
Sometimes its not possible.
In our country, we had some very brave and driven Christian followers who fought against and triumphed over Tyranny and oppressive government systems.
Those men instilled laws to protect their future generations of people who populated this country.
Freedom was the result of their endeavors.
How many countries have the same freedoms as America?
It takes those same kind of people to defend to keep what our country was founded and started on.
It was fighting for it in faith that made it all possible
And were about to lose that
All the world is
We'd like to hold onto it for just a little while longer and give it a hug before stepping back and watching it be destroyed by the same kind of people we fled from when we came here.Does that make sense?
Its not glorifying guns
We just dont like em pointed at our heads to be told to do something or else
Know what I mean
Of course you dont
How is it out of context brother.

I was talking to RickyZ who had stockpiled some food “STUFF “

And was willing to kill to keep that food STUFF .

Yep I can just imagine Jesus and the disciples killing stabbing and blowing hols in sinners because someone tried to steal the loaves and fishes.

Turn the other cheek

take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.

Love your enemies,

There is oil in these verses brother. Make sure you don’t run out of oil

And as for your country and you defending your country it’s just another Babylon a den of iniquity

And you’re defending the wrong thing

You can’t fly two flags bro for there is only one flag and he that is a friend of this world is an enemy with God.

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Hebrews 13:14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

1 Peter 2: 11Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims,

A rock is a useful thing, David found himself a useful rock. He put it in the sling and swirled it about and let it fly.,,,,,,,A gun,,well invokes a thought of violence towards man,but it is also a useful tool. It is most forgotten that as if it were used as a tool it will set food on your plate. It will explain to a bear why to run. It will keep raccoon's and skunks away from the chickens.I would suppose even a plow seems violent to the ground. It in reality is no more than a hammer or a screwdriver it is a tool.

from Able whom was slain in the field "without a gun" to my lord whom they beat and set down on an tree and with a hammer and nails slew for the many,,"let these confess the tools of an murderer". And the lair who slew the masses with words,"let us pass legislation to ban the devil". Ban the box cutters and there will be no more hijackings. If we cut off one of every man's hand's there will be no more "Boston strangler's".,,,,,,,,,,,,"ban the murderers,,ban the graves,,,lest the murderers come in the end and bury many of you alive",,,,

But do remember your faith,it is not ill placed to trust in the lord for protection. Pray every day and forgive those who trespass against you. And every day ask for forgiveness, and remain not in sin. When times come, and a great tribulation will come, take your tools, your gun and hammer, the nails and your hope. And separate yourselves as far from the evil as you may go,and the lord will bless you.

What I am saying is to give up the things of this world, which guns most certainly are. The concept of rejecting the world and following Christ is totally scriptural.
Totally wrong.
Couldn't be more in error.
Food is of this world.
Give up food.
Like I said, it is hard to rationalize with such blatant logical error.

do you always attack personally or are you trying to convince others your opinion supersedes Jesus words
iog, you just reinforced my statement.
By ascribing Jesus to your delusion. Very dangerous.
How much are you getting for this? (Propagandizing for gun control on a christian website.)
Whatever it is, it is too much.

Why should he be killed?
Who gave the command to kill?
The wages of sin is death, is it not justly given by The Lord?

Genesis 2:16-17 (KJV)
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: [17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

What if Adam would have trusted The Lord ?
There would be no death or gun or 2nd amendment

What if we servants of God trust The Lord would we need a gun?

Follow me

Is Jesus is your shield and buckler or is your weapon?

Exodus 20:2-3 (KJV)
I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. [3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Again who is your protector Jesus or will you put something before him

Funny analogy, since you equate guns with evil. - (Evil intent on your part there?)

Nope, I've never seen such misappropriation of scripture.Thats why I answered.

A servant of God don't need a weapon of death when they carry the words of Life
Protection isn't death, protection is prevention of murder, rape, assault, and other works of darkness.

It's that simple.
"Simple" is the operative term here.
