What issues do you have with the concept of keeping EVERY DAY HOLY/Set apart for service to God?

You need to study and learn what Sabbath means and how God commands us to keep it and drop the false accusastions and endless walls of text.

If you can't be respectful of my requests, why should I answer you?

I have given scriptures.

To value or esteem one day above another is talking about keeping a weekly Sabbath. God says we can keep the weekly Sabbath or value each day the same....meaning we can value each day Holy unto God and rest in Him. Have Sabbath every day with God.
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Shouldn't we let God instruct us in these matters and not men? Does God esteem every day alike? Does God esteem one day above another?

Is Passover just another day? How about Lent? Or Halloween? Or Christmas? Or God's Sabbaths?

What is Paul saying here? Who shall judge whether one day is special and another day is not?

Rom. 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Should it be the Christ who we accept as the "truth" giver? And not man?

You are assuming that Adam didn't know God sanctified and set apart this day in Creation. You are assuming that Abraham wasn't honoring God with reverence to His Creation in the following Word.

4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

You are assuming Jesus gave Abraham different commandments than He gave to Abraham Children. (Apart from the Law specifically given to Levi who weren't born yet in Abraham's time)

Fair enough.

Absolutely, And didn't Jesus give us instruction on what to do "Every" day? And was there not to be a "separation" a "difference" between our works on 6 days, vs. our works on the 7th day?

Yes, but were they also to be treated "differently" than other days? "Holy Convocation", yes? Did Jesus instruct us to have "Holy Convocations" every day? Or is there a teaching He wants us to understand and remember to keep us in mind of HIS Salvation plan"? Not religious man.

It was the Priests duty to "heal" on the Sabbath. Not according to the Mainstream Preachers Jesus fought against, but according to His words. This duty was not given to the rest of the people. Do you believe you can forgive sins now?

He posted scripture as well. So do you believe the scripture you posted is tougher, more relevant, more righteous than the scriptures he posted?

Is that how as Biblical discussion is supposed to be; "My verse is tougher than your verse"?

there are relevant questions regarding your religious doctrine that "every day" is to be treated as a Sabbath. Does this teaching come from Christ, or from man?

perhaps we should study and find out what the Word says regarding this doctrine.
so, you, the king of assumptions, are going to lecture someone else about what he THINKS they are assuming.

you are quite amusing . mark r, posthuman, and he rose from the dead have destroyed your assumption - based " theology ", yet you act like you have Biblical insights. quite amusing.

Interesting that Paul says to the Galatians that if they become physically circumcised that they make Christ of no value to them.

The law of Israel demands physical circumcision, and the Spirit speaking through Paul says that physical observation of this outward covenant rite, in the case of these Gentile believers, is pure evil.
The OT teaches that cutting skin of body parts is useless if your heart isn't circumcised along with it.

Lev. 26:40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

Paul understood this even if you don't.

John 4

19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”

21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”

26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”

*****

Jesus even then tells us of the New Covenant and later He tells us how the Temple will destroyed. Then how we are God's holy priests and our bodies His tabernacle because we house the Holy spirit.

If our bodies are temples, how do we keep the Sabbath?
The intent of the "temple" teachings in the Bible were symbolizing our mind from the beginning, was it not? The mind of man was always the true temple of God, made without hands, sojourning as strangers in a strange land. Is this not true?

Religious buildings and man made religious traditions will all be destroyed, but God's Word last forever. If we love the Jesus of the Bible, we will have this Word in our minds, which is the true temple of God.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

How can we create our own religious traditions and expect Jesus to share His Truth with us.

Isaiah 58:13 (ASV) If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath.
Isaiah 58:13 (BBE) If you keep the Sabbath with care.
Isaiah 58:13 (CEB) If you stop trampling the Sabbath.
Isaiah 58:13 (CJB) "If you hold back your foot on Shabbat from pursuing your own interests on my holy day.
Isaiah 58:13 (CSB) "If you keep from desecrating the Sabbath, from doing whatever you want on My holy day.
Isaiah 58:13 (DBY) If thou turn back thy foot from the Sabbath.
Isaiah 58:13 (ESV) "If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath.
Isaiah 58:13 (GNT) The Lord says, "If you treat the Sabbath as sacred and do not pursue your own interests on that day
Isaiah 58:13 (GW) If you stop trampling on the day of worship and doing as you please on my holy day.
Isaiah 58:13 (HNV) If you turn away your foot from the Shabbat,
Isaiah 58:13 (JUB) If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath.
Isaiah 58:13 (KJV) If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath.
Isaiah 58:13 (LEB) If you hold your foot back from [the] Sabbath, [from] doing your affairs on {my holy day},
Isaiah 58:13 (MSG) "If you watch your step on the Sabbath and don't use my holy day for personal advantage.
Isaiah 58:13 (NCV) "You must obey God's law about the Sabbath and not do what pleases yourselves on that holy day.
Isaiah 58:13 (NIV) “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day.
Isaiah 58:13 (NLT) “Keep the Sabbath day holy.
Isaiah 58:13 (NRS) If you refrain from trampling the Sabbath.
Jesus, in His Mercy, gave us the instruction on how to honor Him where His Sabbath is concerned. I don't believe God's True Temple has been destroyed.

You keep referring to a New Covenant that somehow relegated the Word's of Christ irrelevant, or obsolete. I know Jesus promised to change the Priesthood, which was old and ready to disappear, and the Law which required Levites only to partake of the Priesthood. (Heb. 7) But you have yet to provide any evidence that the New Covenant changed or made irrelevant God's Instructions.

Where do you get this teaching?

◄ Isaiah 66 ►
English Standard Version

1Thus says the LORD:
“Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool;
what is the house that you would build for me,
and what is the place of my rest?
2All these things my hand has made,
and so all these things came to be,
declares the LORD.
But this is the one to whom I will look:
he who is humble and contrite in spirit
and trembles at my word.

3“He who slaughters an ox is like one who kills a man;
he who sacrifices a lamb, like one who breaks a dog’s neck;
he who presents a grain offering, like one who offers pig’s blood;
he who makes a memorial offering of frankincense, like one who blesses an idol.
These have chosen their own ways,
and their soul delights in their abominations;
4I also will choose harsh treatment for them
and bring their fears upon them,
because when I called, no one answered,
when I spoke, they did not listen;
but they did what was evil in my eyes
and chose that in which I did not delight.”

5Hear the word of the LORD,
you who tremble at his word:
“Your brothers who hate you
and cast you out for my name’s sake
have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified,
that we may see your joy’;
but it is they who shall be put to shame.

6“The sound of an uproar from the city!
A sound from the temple!
The sound of the LORD,
rendering recompense to his enemies!

7“Before she was in labor
she gave birth;
before her pain came upon her
she delivered a son.
8Who has heard such a thing?
Who has seen such things?
Shall a land be born in one day?
Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment?
For as soon as Zion was in labor
she brought forth her children.
9

******

Romans 8

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body

****

Galatians 4
26But the Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother. 27For it is written,

“Rejoice, O barren one who does not bear;
break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor!
For the children of the desolate one will be more
than those of the one who has a husband.”

28Now you,f brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. 29But just as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now. 30But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman and her son, for the son of the slave woman shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.” 31So, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free woman.

Okay now show me where scriptures say that God is NOT Lord of the universe EVERY day of the week.

Show me were it's wrong to rest in God any day God calls you to rest.

Show me how God ONLY used the word "Sabbath" to refer to a weekly 7th day observance. (Most truthful people will admit that God uses the word Sabbath to mean resting in Him).

The conversation is WHAT IS GOD'S instructions concerning the Sabbath for us in the New Covenant?

Get you facts straight and stop being insulting Studyman.

I don't disagree with Jesus or God's instructions, I disagree with you and your interpretation of God's will for His people.

We have verses that clearly say we are not under law, and that the Sinai covenant is annulled. But people ignore them anyway.

You're dodging: how is physical circumcision taken away, when it is the sign of a covenant greater than Sinai, and it is also part of the self-same Sinai marriage covenant by which the sabbaths are given?
How does Paul justify it?

Sinai covenant is annulled, but covenant with Abraham remains. How is circumcision no longer required in the flesh? Even called antichrist?

Not one jot or tittle removed! But circumcision is certainly jots and tittles!

How?
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Christ didn't *change* sabbath ritual observation to allow good to be done. He chastised them for not doing this already, and pointed out that the priests profaning it weekly as a matter of their duties, and circumcision taking place ((on 8th day)) superseding sabbath rites should have taught them this already.
But it didn't Post, why? Because were not obeying God's Instructions, they had created their own as Jesus said.

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Had they taught the Sabbath as it was written in the Law and Prophets, they would have known God, and would have known Jesus as did a few "faithful" Jews.

5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

These Jews understood the Gospel of Christ, the rest didn't. Just like Caleb knew and trusted God, but those with him did not.

Sure,
like pointing out to those still in bondage that by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses?

Acts 13:38-39
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
How were those people justified before Jesus came along? Was it not the Levitical Priesthood "Works of the Law" for remission of sins? This was the law of justification before "The Seed came". Paul isn't talking about God instructions for the people, he is speaking about the Law of Justification, also known as the Levitical Priesthood, which was changed to become what we have now, a High Priest whose own blood justifies us, not the Blood of goats which was required by the temporary "Priesthood" given specifically to the Levites from Moses.

so, according to your " theology " , Jesus was performing the High Priestly role, forgiving sins. but, then you turn around and say that He could not have forgave the thief on the cross on the spot, that the thief would have to have already knew and accepted him at earlier time.

so maybe you could straighten out the conspiracy junk you peddle, and maybe use the text instead of adding your opinions to it, and declaring them as absolute truth.
He didn't heal everyone.

Let's look at Isaiah 58...

They take delight in approaching God.
3 ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and You have not seen?
Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?’
These people fasted and afflicted their souls as many people preach we should do on the Sabbath, yet God did not see or listen to them....let's keep reading to find out why...

“In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure,
And exploit all your laborers.
it was just an outward show of fasting, they were hypocrites and exploited people....

4 Indeed you fast for strife and debate,
And to strike with the fist of wickedness.
they did it to prove how much holier they were and win a debate....what do you think it means to strike with the fist of wickedness?

You will not fast as you do this day,
To make your voice heard on high.
5 Is it a fast that I have chosen,
A day for a man to afflict his soul?
The implied answer to this question is no..God doesn't want us to afflict our souls...he wants us to do what he lists next...

Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush,
And to spread out sackcloth and ashes?
Would you call this a fast,
Outward religious observance of repentance isn't what God calls for us to do....

And an acceptable day to the Lord?

6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?
Freedom for the captives/slaves, forgiveness of debts (supposed to have happened every Sabbatical/seventh year but nope folks ignore this.)

In the New Covenant this means telling people the gospel and freeing them from the lies of Satan and the world that trap and enslave them.....which should be done every day.

7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,
And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out;
When you see the naked, that you cover him,
Do we only do this one day of the week or every day?

And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
Anyone want to explain this one? I have a guess but would like to know others thoughts on it.

8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’
This is a glorious promise from God. We should all seek to honor Him.

“If you take away the yoke from your midst,
Stop putting legalistic burdens on people God didn't place on them for Jesus says my burdens are light and promises to give us rest.

The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
Stop judging people and condemning them and speaking lies.

10 If you extend your soul to the hungry
And satisfy the afflicted soul,
pray, tell people about Jesus the Manna from heaven so that their souls might be fed.

Then your light shall dawn in the darkness,
And your darkness shall be as the noonday.
11 The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
12 Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
Again we have God's glorious promises.

13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,
14 Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord;
What do you have against trying to make every day Holy? Keeping the Sabbath means turning from your own ways, away from your own desires or speaking your own words and instead seeking God's ways, God's will and speaking God's words.

Why not seek to do those things every day?

Some people just don't seem to get that the gospel is not about earthly things like sabbaths. Paul was concerned that he had wasted his efforts over people who obsessed about such temporal things.
You observe days and months and seasons and years. I am afraid I may have labored over you in vain. Galatians 4:10-11
Are you really ignorant of all the different High Days created by man? there is the Venerable day of the Sun, Winter Solstice, High days honoring Rah, and Venus. Even Mainstream Christianity with their Christmas and Halloween.

I have never understood how someone could disrespect the God of Abraham so much as to compare His Holy Salvation plan, and His Holy Word's with the heathen nations around Him.

Matthew 12 King James Version (KJV)
12 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.

2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;

4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:

10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

Nowhere in the 4th commandment is anything said about worship. It commands cessation from labor, that is all.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Is this not pertaining to the worship of God? How can I keep this day Holy without God's Word?
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: Can I reject this instruction and be considered "Holy"?

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: Is there any other Jesus? Why would Jesus tell me this?

in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Shall I honor Jesus by make double time on the Sabbath? Or taking the day off and party? Fish the opener of trout season?

11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

How man can read this and come up with a religious tradition that there is no difference between Christ's Sabbath and the other 6 days is fascinating to me.

I posted this scripture to indicate what Jesus taught as lawful to do on the Sabbath day and how people today are like the Pharisees with traditions of men telling them what they can and can't do.....which is why so many people don't understand how you can keep the Sabbath EVERY day....or how a human body can be a Temple for God.

Is there any question that Jesus changed what the word "temple" refers to?

In the same way "Sabbath" points to a deeper spiritual truth.
