Yes

But the law is still the minister of death

When a criminal comes before a judge. the law he broke is brought forth. It is the law which condemns the man if he is guilty. without the law. The man can not be charged with a crime because there is no crime to be charged with.
The Law is the minister of death because we can't keep it!

I thought I was on ignore! Maybe you were referring to someone else but I could have sworn it was me + the other guy.
No

I do not see the pride in you that I see in him. You seem at least somewhat to be open. And I don't see you attacking people.

Your not bumping every thread you open. Not telling people they must listen to you or else. And as far as I know you do not worship an english translation.

If man could keep the Law, there would have been no need for Christ to come.

Man could be righteous in of himself.
It would take more than man keeping the law

Again Adam sinned outside the law. He did not break any command. While it could be said he broke the first command first, and that caused him to commit his other sins ( there were quite a few in that 24 hour period) If it was only the law given to moses which condemned us, Adam never would have fallen by doing what he did.

yep

That is why it is given just to lead us to christ. but after that, we have no need of a schoolmaster. We need to graduate to other things.

The law can no longer help us. Because it was not created to help a believer in God to grow in him

It is my opinion that whether in the Garden or after the Law was given, God was disobeyed, meaning either way, man sinned and separated himself from God.

As you have shown, Adan disobeyed God just as those under Law.

That is true, but does not exempt us from not stealing, killing, etc. These Laws are still in effect and can only be kept in the sight of God by faith.

Yes,

So we must look to what is Gods true standard (perfection, and whatever that is)

and not just the law. Because if we just look to the law. We will miss alot of truth of what sin is

That puts us in danger.

Not only do we try hard to keep the law. A burden we can not keep. We focus on the law and miss out on what true sin is.

No, Stealing is still a sin.

But the sin of theft is far deeper than just breaking a command. By the time we steal. we have commited a few sins. not just that one.

I keep in mind that JBF is very zealous for the Lord, this, I think, can be mistaken for pride and arrogance.

But you see it the way you see it and I understand that too!

I don't know how others see it, but I don't look to the Law, that is taken care of by faith in Christ.

What I have been explaining about Law is the root cause and effects of what Christ has done for us.

My faith is in Christ but I also want to understand the legalities of what he has done.

That is what I have been explaining.

there is a difference between being Zealous and being proud.

He is a proud man. And I am not the only one who thinks so.

Just saying.

There are many zealous people in this chat room. They however. do not show pride.. or come across as prideful

Sadly this thread has become intertwined with all the law threads. So maybe we have forgotten the topic because it all seems jumbled together. Since I can not ee your friend anymore. I can not see his threads either. So it has quieted down.

I'm partial to JBF because we share, I think, basically the same ideas and thoughts on major doctrine.

The pride and arrogance some others may see, I see as confidence and a very zealous will for the Lord.

So therefore when you commit a sin then you are not obeying His commandments
and walking in the Spirit of Christ?

True or false?

true. the words (Including The Commandments) of the Bible were given to help us grow more and more into Christ (Grace and Knowledge) .

level upon level, here a little there a little... keep going........ ...... ...... ........ ...... ......

when we do not walk in the Spirit in any way, shape, or form -- we are breaking a command or a combination of the Ten Commandments... and/or other Commandments also.

reading the Bible (Words of Life) and or thinking about many concepts of the Bible help to build us up more and more into Christ... if we believe, and as we follow -- the Words of Life -- at our Current Level.... Milk, Herbs, Meat, Strong Meat....

although if one were perfect enough -- i.e. already had been perfected with the help of The Words of Life --

(or whatever form / source the helps/ The Leading to Christ comes from -- other people, music, Christian programs tv, radio, internet, ect.)

and led completely to Christ and walking as Christ walked -- doing only God's will -- all of the time ---

as He/She hears it from the Spirit each day, "you will hear a voice" -- then there would be no need to be Led to Christ-- Any More. because He/She would've arrived. because They would've become As Christ -- a true follower of God..........................................................................

You need not any book to read to pick up your cross and deny yourself and follow Jesus. True or false?

That is an issue then.

Because his doctrine is dangerous

It is also possible that his doctrine is not being understood in the way he explains it.
I think he explains it quite well.

If anything the issue with how he interprets the word

Charlie24,

Since You have dedicated a Thread, towards the [[Standards]] of God's Righteousness], would a Professing Christian who offers up false propaganda in order to better their position in a Debate, be Reflecting these Standards of God's Righteousness?

What is it specifically that you see wrong in his view of the Law?

Or how he interprets the scripture concerning the Law that Paul discusses?
