Where have I declared that salvation is gained by works.
Sorry, but all are ignorant, including myself, for none know all of the Word as does God Who is the Word. If it bothers you, I am afraid you do not know what is said even printed before your eyes.
No man is saved by works except by the blood of the Lamb of God. However if a man receives Him and then ignores the works He has given us all, he will have no wite garment when it comes to our being raised to His glory. Do not be so thin skined and except the truth of the Word.
Faith without works is DEAD, useless.
amen
“No man is saved by works except by the blood of the Lamb of God. However if a man receives Him and then ignores the works He has given us all, he will have no wite garment when it comes to our being raised to His glory. “
“For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
For
we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV
“This is a
faithful saying, and these things
I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.”
Titus 3:8 KJV
“But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of
the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
but unto them that are
contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
but
glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the
Jew first, and also to the
Gentile:
…..
in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to our gospel.”
Romans 2:5-10, 16 KJV
“For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”
2 Corinthians 5:10-11 KJV
grace teaches these things too is what many can’t understand or acknolwedge aThats why these things are in all the nt epistles and gospels ….
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”
Titus 2:11-15
Gods true grace doesn’t remove all of the teachings of what we need to stop doing and need to start doing our actions or deeds or some might say our “works “ just
what we actually do is the idea. We do have to be judged by those things we actually do based upon what we believe it won’t absolve us from our deeds because we say I believe belief of the gospel is meant to change our hearts and minds and being our deeds into line with Gods Will so we can have our sins remitted in Christ by the gospel before we have to be judged for them .
awe can’t keep sinning and expect we’re already forgiven is the idea that’s absolutely not what grace means if we remove all of the teachings about judgement and repentance and changing our deeds ……we’re falsifying grace into lasciviousness removing what’s meant to change us from sinners to children of god who walk in the spirit
