Ac 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Amen , the word of his grace teaches us this

Ti 2:12 Teaching us that,denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

It says also (of those) that would live godly in Christ, this...

2 Ti 3:12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

But Peter encourages us saying, firstly,

2 Peter 1:2
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

2 Peter 1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2 Peter 1:4
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

duh, they were all jewish at pentecost.

try act 10 to see the grace that was given to cornelius (gentile)
Does it have to be Peter and the Gentiles?

Because didnt Paul preached repentance to both?

Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

8 And he said to them, "You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a man who is a Jew to associate with a foreigner or to visit him;(who told the gentile about the law.)
acts 15 asks what law are they to repent of.
70 ad asks how can anyone follow the law fully with out a temple of stone.

29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,30 since God is one---who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faithRomans 3

What does that have to do with what you are looking for in respects to repentance?

You are each doing a pit the scripture thing between each other

act 15 was paul there.
10 Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?11 But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will."

1 Peter 1:10-12
Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 12Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

Im answering someone else who I dont understand why he is posting to me as he is

And I was enjoying the thread from the start until you first accused me of ruining your thread for simply showing the outworking of grace earlier.

Then you changed your mind after rereading your own words to what you expected and then after that you had maliciousness in your heart towrds me, thats not grace at work in you in that doing.

You can have your thread, yanking out a bunch of single verses on grace (which shows nothing further as to the power thereof isnt really enjoyable or enlightening, so you can have your thread back.

Not interested in that any further

Revelation 12:10-11
[SUP]10 [/SUP]And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

See God's example of grace in Luke 23:39-43

Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.”

But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.”
Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Note there was absolutely no works of the law that the criminal on the cross had to support his admittance to Paradise. It was by grace that he was saved, and clearly without any deeds of the law.
