Sorry Skinski,

Do you really understand it? Do you have any real idea about what does happen when God gets of someone and saves them. Do you not understand the woman caught in adultery. Do you really understand what happened when Jesus told them "Your sins have been forgiven you go and sin no more" I was there when He found me. I was one who was into drugs,alcohol,hard rock,fornication, and other stuff I won't repeat here. It was both at the same time,He saved me,forgave me and gave me the power to break the sin. It was not me CLEANING MYSELF UP FIRST OR EVEN MAKING MY OWN HEART PURE. He laid me out flat and showed me what I really was and what I really needed. I NEEDED A SAVIOR NOT A SELF HELP BOOK,or cheap and simple platitudes,that do nothing and can change nothing. Do I understand it all? Nope. All I know it was NOT me it was all Him,Jesus came in and saved a broken down wreck of a human being and made me new. The Father is one who gave me a new heart. While I was yet far away from Him He saved me.

i missed an important nuance

John 6:44 -- God must "draw" people to Christ (presumably by some application of Holy Spirit)
John 12:32 -- Jesus the man said, before the Crucifixion & Resurrection, that if he was Ascended to heaven (Greek hypsoo), then He would "draw" people to Himself

so, there's a nuance there -- as a man on earth, Jesus, not knowing whether God in heaven would Ascend him, stated that if God did actually Ascend Jesus as Christ, to God's right-hand in His Throne-Room...

which Ascension (hypsoo) did later occur (Acts 2:33, 5:31)...

then, obviously, Jesus the man would have become Jesus the Christ, who from heaven, in God's Throne-Room, would direct the sending of Holy Spirit, to Christian Churches on earth (Rev 1,3,4,5).

So, since, ultimately, Jesus was the "incarnation" of God in heaven, so Jesus Christ is Divinely Authorized to "draw" people to Himself (although, ultimately, God is the originator of that "drawing" Holy Spirit)

But, the basic bottom line is, since the Ascension (John 12 = Acts 2,5), since Jesus was exalted to heaven as Christ, circa 30 AD, everybody on earth has been "drawn" to the Church, by "spirits of God" delegated to the direction of Christ. So, since circa 30 AD, everybody has been bathed in Holy Spirit from heaven, whereby everybody is empowered to potentially "take" Christ; and all who do earnestly "take" Christ are, thereafter, sent even more Holy Spirit, to super-animate them, to help built up the Church

1. Does God want us to be as perfect as He is? YES!!!! MAt 5:48.

2. Can God make a person, even the biggest sinner a perfect man? YES!!!! Eph 4:11 to 13. 2 Cor 5:17, 1 John 3:9. Mat 19:26.

3. Does God make sinners perfect? YES!!!! 1 Thes 5:23. John 17:23. Ezek 36:26 and 27, Acts 4:31... God made 5000 men perfect in an instant! To be perfectly ONE WITH HIM.

4. Does God still make people perfect today? YES!!!! As long as GOD's Word is there it will not return void unto God! Isaiah 55:11. John 8:32. John 8:36. John 14:21. John 17, the whole chapter.

Kerry, they were! They had to be, or God is a lier? God says... He appointed them to perfect the Saints? How can an imperfect person perfect a non-sinner? Eph 4:11... For HE gave some, APOSTLES, etc..... FOR THE PERFECTING OF THE SAINTS....

And did God do this for HIS MEN?.... Hebrews 13:20... Make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working (doing) in you which is wellpleasing in HIS sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be the glory for ever and ever....

Please note who is doing the good in whom... GOD DID IT IN HIS MEN, AS HE DOES IT TODAY.... Look here in Ezekiel GOD WILL MAKE THEM BE PERFECT, AND ONLY DO HIS WILL... Ezekiel 36:26 and 27... A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Do you think if GOD cause a person to walk in HIS STATUTES (His will) that person will be imperfect? I do not believe that. If GOD CAUSE a person to walk as GOD wants..... that person will be PERFECT AS GOD IS PERFECT! Matthew 5:48.

The question is... whose stony hearts does God take away? Do you think you are one that God will take away? I hope HE will remove my stony heart, and give me HIS FLESH HEART AND HIS SPIRIT, and HE will CAUSE me to walk in HIS STATUTES...

If you look at Ezekiel 36 and Hebrews 13.... they BOTH says it is God's will to have these people walk PERFECTLY in HIS WILL. Nobody has a chance of remaining a sinner if God wants to make him a CHILD OF GOD, that GOD WILL CAUSE TO BE PERFECT!

See if they were declared righteous and blameless BEFORE they did the things they did,how does that fit in with your thinking? Why did the writers lay it out that way? What is God trying to tell us? It's there for a reason and you can't leave that out. Both are in there whether you like it or not so how do they BOTH fit together?

Sarah, thank you for asking. Peter and Paul had to have that difference, so God can show us that we should not venture PAST what He sent us. Just as Paul was Peter's teacher, so God is ours on this matter. Peter went with the Jews to the Gentiles, and Ananias KNEW God selected PAUL for that job. Peter thought is good to go and do more than he should, with the jew-Christians, but they overstepped their boundries for us TO LEARN FROM IT. No sin in that, God taught us something in that, that we will NEVER get had he not allowed this.

Secondly, not ANY Old testament person could be BORN from ABOVE or from God, So they did nt have the BORN AGAIN, lke we have. even though they could be without sin (righteous) they could not obtained the Baptism of the Spirit to the degree AFTER penticost. We read many things about the prophets and Godly men, but they NEVER were saved to a degree that JEsus prayed for in John 17... Jesus asked the Father to make Peter, John and all the others ONE WITH THEM.... Though Jesus KEPT them in His will, they were only made ONE WITH HIM AND HIS LIFE when HE MADE THEM ONE WITH HIM.... That happened in the upper room, when the Spirit of God came OVER, UNDER THROUGH AND IN THEM ALL.

That was the moment God ISSUED them with HIS WILL, POWER, LIFE and SELF. From that moment on they were made PERFECT nd in the image of HIS SON. Peter did not sin to be doubleminded, Paul did not sin for repremanding him, it happened so Sarahm and Cobus, can learn that we should stick to what God has called us for. The proof is in what happened when Paul returned to Jerusalem. Peter and the Jews decided that Paul would be SOLELY responsible for the Gospel to the Gentiles. Exactly what God had planned.

Let me ask you this.... Do you think Adam would have sinned again had God say.... Ok Adam, now that you did die, let me give you life and perfection again, but this time with the knowledge, and also the taste of evil still in your mouth, choose to sin or not to sin AGAIN!...

It is the same with us... Unlike Adam, we were never perfect and had God WALK with us. We know sin way before we know God. We have sin in us way before we have God's righteousness in us. So we are the opposite of Adam. We walk with the sin way FIRST! And then GOD makes us walk the righteous path, and we walk it AS HE WALKS IT.

If God is in me, and I in Him, do you think there is still sin in me? Is there ANY evil in me if I am in God? Even though HE removed it 100%? Then God is the failure. Jesus is the SAMPLE of what ALL saved people are! They are NOT sinners, becasue Jesus was not a sinner. They are perfect, because Jesus IS PERFECT.

They are perfect in HIM, and HE is perfect in them! They are made ONE PERFECT BODY! If God allows ONE sin in HIS BODY, then that whole BODY of CHRIST has to be thrown into HELL!

Just as the body of Adam DIED because of one sin, so will the BODY OF CHRIST die when HE sin ONCE! Not one sin can be allowed in the PERFECT Body of Christ, it will corrupt the WHOLE BODY. And because GOD is the One that adds to this Body, there is no SIN IN HIM...

Let me put it as plain as I can...There was NEVER no sin in GOD! IN GOD IS NO SIN....If God allows a person into HIM with sin, God cannot claim this any-longer. If God allows ONE SIN INTO HIM, God cannot say there is no sin in Him. So Before GOD ALLOWS A PERSON INTO HIM, GOD REMOVES ALL SIN FROM THAT PERSON!!!

Look at it as a PLACE OF PERFECTION.... God is a PLACE OF PERFECTION... A ROOM where no sin can be committed, because GOD SANCTIFIED THAT ROOM OUT OF REACH OF SIN.... And what keeps the sin (darkness) out... THE LIGHT OF GOD..

So we walk in the streets of a city and ALL lights are out. It is pitch black dark.... And in this ONE ROOM BUILDING, there is the brightest of light and in this room is NO (0) ZERO darkness...

Now there is a MAN standing in the darkness where we are, and we CANNOT see HIM, but HE says.... HEY YOU! COBUS, LOST IN THIS DARKNESS, GO THEE AND JOIN THE OTHERS IN THE LIGHT, I (who are able) WILL REMOVE ALL DARKNESS FROM THEE and THEE FROM ALL DARKNESS.... And as I walk closer I am walking OUT OF THE DARKNESS INTO LIGHT, and AS I walk closer I also FIND that THE DARKNESS IN ME ALSO ARE REMOVED...

Then when I reach the DOOR, there is a PORTER at the DOOR. And it seem that the DOOR is even brighter than the light inside.... Many people that are at this door want to enter into the light but they CANNOT... I stand there and walk closer to enter, and I see the people trying to enter but they CANNOT, they do not want to let GO OF THE DARKNESS IN THEM. The PORTER is the CONSCIENCE of EVERY PERSON.... Then I see a lady with NO DARKNESS in her pass through the door, and she went in and was part of the light inside the room.

Then I walk up to enter, and I hear my heart say.... Forgive D for what he has done to you, and I knew I still have to forgive ONE MORE WHO SINNED AGAINST ME... I stand there and I forgive him. I can see how my conscience is now SPOTLESS and my heart has NOTHING to convict me of... And I know, I am as free as the lady that just entered, I also now can walk in, and I do, to NEVER return to the cold, dark, ugly, dead darkness. NEVER! I am in God and God in me, and there is NO communion with the darkness or the people of the darkness.... I am now TULY SET FREE FROM DARKNESS!!! God saved me!!!

That's a really nice analogy Cobus. Do remember, though, that the sheep go in and out of the sheepfold. They must venture out of the sheepfold into the world in order to find pasture. In the world they can and do become defiled with the stain of sin just by mere contact with the world. This requires ongoing cleansing. This condition is analogous to the former priests attending the altar who had to continually cleanse their hands and feet with water in the brass laver by the altar from the defilement of sin received by handling the sacrifices and walking on the earth. They were already holy, but if they didn't continually cleanse themselves from the defilement of sin, they would have died. That was a shadow of the reality of GOD dwelling in corrupted, sinful vessels, that are made holy and cleansed by the continual washing of water of the word in spirit.

So don't be tempted to think you're perfect yet. Paul described being perfect as letting go of the past, and pressing forward to the goal of securing a permanent place in the sheepfold. GOD will perfect if you remain holy.

He tells them that over and over again. It is unbelief that is at the heart of rebellion. One can say that Jesus saves but in reality it is the Father who saves through faith in Jesus. Jesus is so clear that He is the good shepherd,the gate,the bread of life,the light of the world,the the resurrection and the life,the vine,THE WAY,THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. It is belief in HIM THAT SAVES,it is through faith in Him that saves and NOTHING ELSE. No one add anything to that or take away.

The evidence that it is true in a believers life is in OBEYING HIM. It is so simple a little child can understand it. It's why Jesus told UNLESS WE BECOME LIKE LITTLE CHILDREN (The basic idea is as a little children TRUSTS their father,we also can trust what the Father says) and the will of the Father is to believe on and in Jesus.

For your own sake Cobus quit complicating it. Believe on Him and obey. The hard part will be to live it out. In fact it is often harder because Satan will come against a believer,we still have our flesh to deal and we have the world to contend with,all of these will most certainly try to trip us up,and at times we will stumble. It is why the examples of believers who were declared righteous and then stumbled are in there.

Sarah we are getting somewhere. If you be patient and let God reveal scripture, we will SEE the FINISHED work of God!

Ok so Nicodemus did not understand even thogh HE KNEW GOD WILL REPLACE THE SINNING HEART WITH THE HOLY ONE... That is the SOUL of the person that would be made holy... Ezekiel prophecied that and Nicodemus KNEW this. That is why Jesus was upset that Nico did not understand... He teach this, but HE BELIEVES THIS NOT. If you do not believe, you do not know.... You just TALK!

So while Jesus talked to Nicodemus, Jesus knew what God will accomplish AFTER God gave REBIRTH to a person. That person will be EXACTLY like Jesus. Jesus knew this! Jesus knew HE IS LIKE THE WIND, and all who are born again will be EXACTLY LIKE HIM. You see EVERY person that went THROUGH HIM WENT INTO GOD'S HOLINESS.... John 3.

Sarah, Herosefromthe dead, here is the mystery you still have to know..... Every one that pass through the NARROW GATE... Jesus Christ is the narrow gate, pass from sin to holiness (perfect holiness). On the one side of the gate is sin and repentance and Holy Spirit teaching, and Holy Spirit leading. On the other side is: God and God's will and God's holiness, the Perfection God has in store for every one that ENTERS INTO HIS KINGDOM.

Every person that goes THROUGH CHRIST, is absolutely CLEAN! HOLY AND WITHOUT SPOT OR WRINKLE... and they ARE KEPT in this PERFECT STATE, by the SPIRIT OF GOD IN THEM. They NEVER had the Spirit of God in them, before they ENTERED INTO GOD THROUGH CHRIST....

The Born of GOD, the Baptism of Holy Spirit, the FILLING of Holy Spirit, The ENTER into the narrow Gate, the THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, ALL this is that moment God gives you a NEW HEART AND A NEW SPIRIT... AT THE END OF THE STONY HEART... The END OF REPENTANCE, THE END OF ENDURE TO THE END OF THE OLD MAN. THE END OF SIN IN YOU AND YOU IN SIN...

True! The sheep does go out again, but they REMAIN HIS SHEEP AND HIM THE SHEPARD. They do not get Satan back as herder. They are God's and NOT PART OF THIS WORLD. They DIED to the World and the World to them. And the NEW LIFE please ONLY GOD! After this BAPTISM of Holy Spirit, there is no more dirt... IT TOUCHETH THEM NOT... 1 John5:18.

We keep going back to the PAST, and the when I were still a sinner.... God knows to DELIVER me from temptation... If i do not even get tempted as a SAVED SHEEP, how can I sin? God says, if I am born f Hom I sinnith not, and I cannot sin because I am BORN OF GOD... To be born of God (God's SEED) is to produce only ONE TYPE OF FRUIT.... GOOD ONES.

A tree of GOD CANNOT produce bad fruit. And a tree of bad fruit, cannot produe good fruit... God's TREES with HIS SEED CANNOT produce bad fruit..... not may not, CANNOT! Jesus says if HE makes me free from sin I am TRULY free, and you imply that is not true... Well I believe Jesus, and I make NO excuse for my sin, I need HIS SALVATION, I AM NOT YET SAVED! I AM NOT REBORN OF GOD! ANd I DO NOT HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT IN ME....

This I can witness..... God did CALL ME, I DID HEAR HIM, I am being cleansed as HE IS CLEAN, and I am led by the Holy Spirit.... LEAD as in HE LEADS ME OUT OF SIN! He leads me in SCRIPTURE to SEE what FEW peple see. And He MULTIPLY TRUTH IN ME.... HE GIVES ME TRUTH AND I AM GETTING TO KNOW IT, and Jesus said... THOU SHALL KNOW TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE THEE FREE... I know WAY more than I used too. THIS IS SHARE AS THE HOLY SPIRIT LEADS. Up to you to believe or not, to accept or not.

All I know is God is me teacher, and I am learning! But one verse is BURNT into my heart.... 1 John 3:9... Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
No matter how hard I try to forsake this verse, God shows me TRUE PERFECTION IN HIS SON..... This we know... And hereby we know we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that saith: I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in him....

Ok so Nicodemus did not understand even thogh HE KNEW GOD WILL REPLACE THE SINNING HEART WITH THE HOLY ONE... That is the SOUL of the person that would be made holy... Ezekiel prophecied that and Nicodemus KNEW this. That is why Jesus was upset that Nico did not understand... He teach this, but HE BELIEVES THIS NOT. If you do not believe, you do not know.... You just TALK!

So while Jesus talked to Nicodemus, Jesus knew what God will accomplish AFTER God gave REBIRTH to a person. That person will be EXACTLY like Jesus. Jesus knew this! Jesus knew HE IS LIKE THE WIND, and all who are born again will be EXACTLY LIKE HIM. You see EVERY person that went THROUGH HIM WENT INTO GOD'S HOLINESS.... John 3.

Sarah, Herosefromthe dead, here is the mystery you still have to know..... Every one that pass through the NARROW GATE... Jesus Christ is the narrow gate, pass from sin to holiness (perfect holiness). On the one side of the gate is sin and repentance and Holy Spirit teaching, and Holy Spirit leading. On the other side is: God and God's will and God's holiness, the Perfection God has in store for every one that ENTERS INTO HIS KINGDOM.

Every person that goes THROUGH CHRIST, is absolutely CLEAN! HOLY AND WITHOUT SPOT OR WRINKLE... and they ARE KEPT in this PERFECT STATE, by the SPIRIT OF GOD IN THEM. They NEVER had the Spirit of God in them, before they ENTERED INTO GOD THROUGH CHRIST....

The Born of GOD, the Baptism of Holy Spirit, the FILLING of Holy Spirit, The ENTER into the narrow Gate, the THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, ALL this is that moment God gives you a NEW HEART AND A NEW SPIRIT... AT THE END OF THE STONY HEART... The END OF REPENTANCE, THE END OF ENDURE TO THE END OF THE OLD MAN. THE END OF SIN IN YOU AND YOU IN SIN...

True! The sheep does go out again, but they REMAIN HIS SHEEP AND HIM THE SHEPARD. They do not get Satan back as herder. They are God's and NOT PART OF THIS WORLD. We keep going back to the PAST, and the when I were still a sinner.... God knows to DELIVER me from temptation... If i do not even get tempted as a SAVED SHEEP, how can I sin? God says, if I am born f Hom I sinnith not, and I cannot sin because I am BORN OF GOD... To be born of God (God's SEED) is to produce only ONE TYPE OF FRUIT.... GOOD ONES.

A tree of GOD CANNOT produce bad fruit. And a tree of bad fruit, cannot produe good fruit... God's TREES with HIS SEED CANNOT produce bad fruit..... not may not, CANNOT! Jesus says if HE makes me free from sin I am TRULY free, and you imply that is not true... Well I believe Jesus, and I make NO excuse for my sin, I need HIS SALVATION, I AM NOT YET SAVED! I AM NOT REBORN OF GOD! ANd I DO NOT HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT IN ME....

This I can witness..... God did CALL ME, I DID HEAR HIM, I am being cleansed as HE IS CLEAN, and I am led by the Holy Spirit.... LEAD as in HE LEADS ME OUT OF SIN! He leads me in SCRIPTURE to SEE what FEW peple see. And He MULTIPLY TRUTH IN ME.... HE GIVES ME TRUTH AND I AM GETTING TO KNOW IT, and Jesus said... THOU SHALL KNOW TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE THEE FREE... I know WAY more than I used too. THIS IS SHARE AS THE HOLY SPIRIT LEADS. Up to you to believe or not, to accept or not.

All I know is God is me teacher, and I am learning! But one verse is BURNT into my heart.... 1 John 3:9... Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
No matter how hard I try to forsake this verse, God shows me TRUE PERFECTION IN HIS SON..... This we know... And hereby we know we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that saith: I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar and the truth is not in him....

How can you begin to teach a born again believer when you aren't even born again begin?

You leave out so much other scripture that it's truly sad. Have you ever read the WHOLE BIBLE front to back or do you cherry pick what you want to hear? We need to understand the scripture in light of the WHOLE scripture, the Bible is filled what appears to be pardoxes,but they aren't if they are taken in light of the whole scriptures. It can not mean sense to the natural man because it is beyond human ability to understand in the natural. It is foolishness to those are perishing,a stumbling block to the Jews and foolishness to the Greeks,but it is GOD'S WISDOM.

Sinners cannot be perfect, but His children is not sinners. If I as a sinner say I am God's Child, it is ANOTHER sin. I try NOT to sin, so I will not lie... I am NOT God's Child! I am a sinner in need of His salvation. May the Lord save me, from my master Satan! If I do sin I have only ONE MASTER.... Satan... I cannot serve God in hliness and Satan in sin.... ONE OF THE TWO!

May the set free God has for ALL His children also be meant for me. I hope God has chosen me too as a CHILD OF GOD! Now! I trust God HE is the one that placed this hunger in me to be RIGHTEOUSS, and because HE gave me the hunger, HE SHALL ALSO FILL ME!....What an awesome God we have in Jesus Christ.... BELIEVE ME ... If He sets you free you are FREE INDEED! not this wimpy sinner still salvatin... HE SETS FREE INDEED!

1Jn 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. (I am still in the DARK!)
1Jn 2:9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. (Sometimes I still do!)
1Jn 2:10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. (I Stumble often and sin against my brothers.)
1Jn 2:11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. (I know not if my eyes will be blinded forever! I hope not!)

Also this is quite convincing of my state with God...
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
I am not righteous as He is righteous....

Sarah, who is the born again child of God that I teach too? And is it my teaching that God makes His people GODLY people? I did not write the Bible, and Sarah I do not know any person that spent more time reading and study the Bible more than I did.

I KNOW the Truth. And the Truth is.... ALL GOD'S CHILDREN STOP SINNING BEFORE THEY GO TO REST. ALL of them! Paul says... THOSE THAT DIED IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST.... When did they die in CHRIST? The day GOD PUT HIS SPIRIT IN THEM, THEY DIED!!!! If God's Spirit is in a person that person does not become schitzophrene because there is more than ONE SPIRIT in him... THERE IS ONLY ONE SPIRIT IN THAT PERSON AND THAT IS GOD'S, not his or hers... GOD'S.
So that person is DEAD and DEAD CAN BE... ONLY CHRIST REMAINS IN THAT PERSON,,,, So where are the people with ONLY CHRIST IN THEM that I want to teach too?

I have tested the doctrine I believe to EVERY VERSE IN THE BIBLE... IT FITS 100%. Not 99%.... 100% It is perfect! Why? becasue it is only perfect people that has the Spirit of God in them....
