these are however made up stories and I see nothing wrong with them.
Narnia has a lot of similarities to Christianity. Not sure if you noticed but C.S.Lewis was a christian man who wrote the series of Narnia.
Northern lights written is written by an author Phillip Pullman who is an atheist. He wrote the series to try and turn people away from god.'i know this we not part of the discussion

Yes, Philip Pullman said he took Satan's side in John Milton's Paradise Lost, so it's no surprise he wrote His Dark Materials as a rant/anti-Christian propaganda piece (especially Book 3 - The Amber Spyglass).

I think in part, that fact that in most movies, the witch is seen as the bad person. The Bible talks about witchcraft been bad.
But, in Harry Potter, it is pretty much glorifying witchcraft and wizardry.
I have read all the books, and seen 4 of the movies. But one time my prayer minister felt lead to pray against a spirit of witchcraft. Kinda strange, the enemy didn't seem to like that, and the following day I saw images of witches everywhere. When that happened, I just started singing praise to God, and the images left.

Good vs Bad is irrelevent they say it is bad because it glorifies witchcraft. they say it is bad because it causes confusion on whether or not witchcraft is really from the devil when you have kids running around trying to do "good" with the magic. If magic could be used for good doesn't it still make using it evil? they aren't telling you not to watch if you really want to watch it. they are telling you to guard yourself against it and not allow it to influence your life.....

All i am going to say is that there is real magic in the world today.... not that hollywood magic of smoke and mirrors but true magic and it comes from the devil and his demons.... as for the movies if you tell your children to love a person that hates them and then with what you watch and do in your life you don't follow the statement what message are you giving them?

According to the religious leaders of Christ's day, what did Christ get accused of? Supernatural is 100% real, no matter what way, one slices, dices and or cubes, it is what it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now what the bottom line is, "Purpose" "Motive", and God knows who are his and who are not his, and God who has received us will cause us in agreement to stand; for God is able to do this, where man is not. man can only plant seeds, and water seeds, and God who knows all motives behind all man, will and does cause his children to stand in the midst of any and all adversities
