If Harry Potter is bad, why isn't "The Chronicles of Narnia"? Or even Cinderella. In Narnia, they have magic and in Fairy Tales they have magic. So does this mean we shouldn't read or watch anything with magic in it? I'm really confused about this because I enjoyed Harry Potter as a kid and now I'm worried that maybe other things are wrong. Please help me out with this. Thanks!
seek to learn from all you experience and think, from God the Father of Christ through Christ, and you will know truth that keeps you free from the traps in this world. I personally have learned much from many things such as the series Charmed. Seek to always have truth separated from error, by God whom lives in you from the very first day of belief
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

If Harry Potter is not bad then it must be good. And if Harry Potter is good, then being a Witch and a Wizard practicing spellcraft must also be good. If Harry Potter is good, then Chronicles of Narnia must also be good, for there is Witchcraft and Wizardry in them as well. Therefore, practicing Witchcraft and Wizardry must be good. And if Chronicles of Narnia is good, then Myths and Fables must also be good, because Chronicles of Narnia is both Myth and Fable.

Therefore, Witchcraft, Wizardry, Myth and Fable are all good.

Right?
There are those that appear good and of God and are not. The Devil comes as an angel of light that he might even fool the very elect of God.
I am physic, I know the future and past, GOD WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly! That's why I'm so confused!
Sister, truthfully, what is in your heart, can you harm your neighbor purposely? Even if you had a reason, could you? You know the answer, and so either Thank God for this, or seek God's Mercy for you provided at the cross of Christ. Then you will know from God for God will tell you that God has accepted you.
Now when you know this, what need do you have for anyone else to accept you?
[h=3]Ephesians 1:6-7[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]6 [/SUP]To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

I don't care for harry potter, narnia, or cinderella. I think these things, can be mined for lessons though.

I am more Puritan in my approach though.
Yes all things can be mined for lessons, and it is God who comes or has come to live in us from the first day of belief that sorts these out to learn truth from error, thanks Jimmy

Therefore, as long as witches, pokemon, Disney, Winnie the poo and Chronicles of Narnia have good endings, they are good.
discernment of truth over Dogma is better, and whole, for I know all things are clean of itself.
What makes it unclean is how I use it. of self or of God to show me God's type of love that all need to see and be alive unto God. Maybe? Hmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know you decide

There is a way that seems right............ smh
therefore it is either taken in and of flesh and one either is destroyed or stays destroyed in and of the flesh.
But by the Spirit of Gods in the born again life from God through the resurrected Christ we love as God loves all

It is no longer today about, good or bad, because no man flesh can be good enough in front of God the only one good.
So what is it about? Whether you believe God to just love you or not? if one does and seeks God's Mercy given by the cross, one receives and just loves without malice, are born again by God through the resurrected Christ. A free gift from God to all that believe, God knows who does and who does not and those receive and know the truth that sets them free in God's type of Love. Mercy you have received Mercy you shall give
Too simple for the flesh mind, and is why we are called to renew our minds
Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Learn to see everything from God's vantage point, not this world's interpretations of good and bad, thanks

That doesn't make them good.

I shall set no evil thing before mine eyes.
So you are not here in this world. I know the believers that are true, are ambassadors, and not of this world, yet are in it, just as Paul was, correct. So evil is all around all the time. Romans 7, how does one serve God? With the Law of sin and death of flesh. Or with the Holy Ghost that has come to live in us those that do believe.
Thanks Jimmy, love you the way God does, perfectly

What does make them good?
Christ and not us good, it is through Christ that we see Good, which is the Father, and thus we learn to be led by Father through the hidden man of the heart, being born of the Spirit of God where no sin can occur today since all sin is:
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Careful:

Lesson our judgement of others. We never see the whole picture. Never.
there are 1,000 reasons a person can behave a particular way. We don't know what is going on in their movie that motivates them to act in that way. I never know how I'd behave if I were in the other shoes. Today little by little, it would be good to learn to be more forgiving. Learn to where we can come from a place of help, rather than Judgement.

Judgments are only based on what one sees, from their owns thoughts. From their own experiences. There is truly only one that knows all. that one would be and is the creator of all.
If one learns to listen to the creator as Jesus Christ revealed to all mankind. (Christ taught us, to do nothing or say nothing w/o Father's instruction first and foremost), we would make the right judgments, with out condemnation. ( coming from the one listening),much less likely
The ones that argued would reveal their true selves, as was done in the day of visitation from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Steer clear from arguments, seek the truth in all things and one shall be free from the world and it's traps.

Don't you wish you could be like Harry Potter and get the Wand, the fame, the money and the girl along with it? Can't all that be yours through witchcraft and wizardry?
if that is ones motive why yes, either we are of the flesh and only see with the flesh or we are of god's Spirit and learn from all things, being in God's Spirit that is.
[h=3]Romans 8[/h]King James Version (KJV)

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
[SUP]4 [/SUP]That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

As long as you have a good, solid Magick Wand and some good encantations.
So are you of the flesh or the Spirit of God? That is how one sees truth, and discerns without condemnation, by the Spirit of God. Let your own conscious condemn you, not Blain or anyone else, for it is God that is able to get us to stand if we are not standing
Romans 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand

Some people are too busy with those things. But then again, the people who are too busy are not really people like Harry Potter. People you like Harry Potter are people are see something of themselves in Harry Potter.

He was abused, he needed liberation. Hogwarts provided that. He was weak, he needed power. Wizardry provided that. He was an orphan, he needed mentors. They were made available. He was alone, he needed a girlfriend. It came through the magickal environment. Harry Potter's life changed from pauper to prince the day he discovered the Wizard within himself and took up the magick craft.

And that is the kind of person Harry Potter is for.
The way you see it is of flesh and the way I see it and Blain sees it is from the Spirit of God and God's awesomeness to count on God through Christ. So be it then.
Sorry Blain if I spoke out of turn for you.

How do you know magic is not real? If I deceive you through sleight of hand, it is magic, yet is it not a real power of real deception? And if the wizards of Egypt could turn Wands into Cobras, then maybe you could too with the right training from the right mentor.
Again that depends on one's mindset, it seems the flesh is your mindset, is that true?

Magic is real, and it does work. That's how it was in the past, and that's how it is today. The thing is, God specifically prohibits it - it is evil, and very dangerous. Those who practice it often give up their priceless, immortal souls, for something worth far less than even the entire world.
Sop how then did Jesus do his magic in healing, was he from Beelzebub as accused of the religious leaders in his day? God knows one's heart and changes one's heart to love compassionately
God leads and man fails

It's magickal, isn't it..

Part of you wants to live in Harry Potter's world.

There is part of him in you now.

You have a Harry Potter Horcrux planted within you.

And you thought Harry Potter was just a children's story.
Blain is not of the flesh, he is today of the Spirit of God, learning through all things from God.
You are as I see continuously promoting flesh into your posts.
And no flesh in God's sight pleases God. The only flesh that ever did was and is Christ Jesus's, born of the Virgin Mary. So no other flesh can ever come close, and why we are to be born again here and now in the Spirit of God. As what Christ came to do was to give us new life
[h=3]John 10:10[/h]King James Version (KJV)

[SUP]10 [/SUP]The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Cinderella seems like a story that appeals to little girls. Narnia is pretty good. As for Harry pothead I never saw the appeal. A goofy looking British kid does magic? Yeah I'll pass.
Cinderella is stereotyping women as to be weak, which should not be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
