You were busted and you know it. What was this about again?
So then you are going to say Paul is busted for using the word “all” in Romans 3:23 when he said all have sinned and come short of the glory of God? We know Jesus is not a part of the “all” in Romans 3:23. I am also aware of Matthew 19:12 and so it’s not like I forgot about it. For example: If I say all of the world admired a certain diplomat, that does not mean everyone on the planet liked the guy. It just means many people liked him on the planet. For example, if I say, “The collective achievements of all of mankind throughout history have shaped the world we live in today." This is not a reference to every single person who has ever lived. There are some achievements or inventions by men that have failed to take hold upon the world. But this sentence is not meant to be read with strict wooden literalism.

ChatGPT (A free online software database program) even confirms this.

My question to ChatGPT:

“If I say all of mankind, does that mean it is always referring to every single person who has ever lived?”

ChatGPT reply:

“The phrase "all of mankind" is a generalization that typically refers to the entire human race, encompassing all individuals who have ever lived, are currently alive, and may be born in the future. However, the exact interpretation can depend on context and the intent of the speaker. In some cases, it may be used more loosely to represent a vast majority or a significant portion of humanity rather than every single person in a strict and literal sense.”

The context of Matthew 19:5 is Matthew 19:12. I was aware of this verse for a very long time.

You said:
You are absolutely right. I was nit picken.
Nitpicking (Definition):

Giving too much attention to details that are not important, especially as a way of criticizing.

You were busted and you know it. What was this about again?
Actually, you are busted because you misunderstood what I was talking about.
You thought I was referring to how the number 6 was to married couples only, when I said no such thing.
You made a joke about how the number of those who are not married was 5 and 1/2.

And honestly, I have looked into the 'numbers' in a few places. Some are very interesting. But I wouldn't build doctrines or call them truths until I meet Him face to face.
This is what you don’t understand. There are no new doctrines formed by the numbers. The meaning is already there in Scripture and the numbers are simply attached to the repeat pattern of meaning that already exists. We are just pointing out the patterns in God’s Word. To see that a number is associated with a particular meaning is merely pointing out truth that is already there. So if I see the number 7 repeatedly tied to God and His perfection and rest, that means the number is not some mindless fact. All Scripture is profitable (2 Timothy 3:16). Man shall live by every word of God (Luke 4:4) (KJV). There is no voice that is without significance (1 Corinthians 14:10). Scripture is God’s voice to us today.

Stop and think. When God told the Israelites to march around Jericho seven times, it was not some random number that God chose. God does not make us do things without a purpose. Seven is related to God. So it was God who took down the walls of Jericho. Without even knowing the number, you can conclude this fact, as well. But the point is that the number simply confirms this truth even more. The numbers are also there to confirm that His Word is indeed divine in origin and it is perfect and entirely trustworthy. Most people do not believe there is a perfect Word of God. That is why most are resistant to biblical numerics.

I thought about 3, but if the number for man is 6 and you are only missing 1/2, you still have 5 and a 1/2.
And for the record, my oldest is a pharmacist and 2nd is in management. Somebody taught them something. And @Magenta is in charge of math around here.
"if man is five,
then the devil is six.
and if the devil is six,
then God is seven!
- this monkey's gone to heaven."

The idea of numbers is attactched to numerology well known for it's cultic beliefs and so many call it just that forgetting thatthe devil copies and corrupts everything God does so by simple logic if there is a culitc version should there not a true version?

As well ass what we call the word of God the literally spoken word of himself not ink on papaer if we revere it as much as we say we do than is not everything in there as much as his voice itself?

That includes numbers and God is well known for hiding the truth hidden in deeper layers so every number in there is just as much his 2word spoken for a specific reason

he has never been one to outright give the answer that is why we strudy if numbers in scripture are like a hidden language then it would make sense that one must seek the truth in it it requires one who understands that his language is seen in everything in nature in the laughter of a small child that sense of warmth you feel remebering your childhood.

Numbers are only one of the many languages he speaks his words are in the rising sunrise the fireflies that dance at night the still cool feeling of the wind on your skin.

In the Bible: Casting lots can be considered pagan or wrong in some instances. Yet, at other times, it was acceptable to God in the right context. Obviously, I am against occult numerology which is leading your life by numbers (like using numbers to get a better job, to improve your relationships, etc.). There was a time when God told the Israelites to number the tribes. Obviously, this involves counting or numbering. We must understand that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). This would include the numbers mentioned in the Bible.

Also, Revelation 13:18 says,

"“Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”

In Revelation 13:18 the word “him” implies us believers or the Christian reader who hath understanding. What is this “understanding” that we believers are to have? I believe this “understanding” is about the knowledge of biblical numerics. You (who hath understanding) are told to count a particular number whereby it gives you an ascribed meaning for that number. The number is 666 which is the number associated with the Beast. The verse presupposes that “him” (you or the believer) is already aware of biblical numerics because Revelation 13:18 also says that his number is the number of a man. If you have the understanding to count, you would already know Man’s number according to the Bible is 6. Yet, the Beast’s number is 666. Meaning, the beast’s number is taking man’s number (Which is 6) and it is tripling it (666). This is why the “him” (you or the believer) who has understanding is told to count man’s number (representing the number 6) three times to get the number of the beast (666).

Primarily, the Bible numbers make me to be in awe of His Word in that it is divine in origin. I am not looking to lead my life by the numbers within the Bible. That would be silly. Most Textual Critics will not give this study the time of day because it would undermine their careers and or they have convinced themselves it is something that it is not to protect their current belief system of Textual Criticism.

Yes numbers leading your life is not from God. people call angel numbers numbers you see all the time but they are messages from angels not God always refered to as spiritual voices and many even coincide angel numbers with the biblical study of number in the word of God but make no mistake they are not the same

angel numbers as a red flag itself speaks of angels not God second angel numbers speak more of a positive messange from your guardian angel never from God himself always positive never anything else lets not forgive a message from God is not always posititve it can come with a warning correction even rebuke

The point of studying numbers as a hidden language is to hear from God and it isn't always positive. The word of God has layers the mere fact the hebrew language uses not just numbers but symbolisim images and acronyms to piant a different message being given should make more than enough edivdence that God doesn't speak just one language and hides the truth hidden within the truth.(and for those got that prhase you are now my best friend)
