Have you ever cried because Jesus died? Did what He suffered bring tears to your eyes? If so, when was the last time? For me it's been many times, including a few minutes ago.

Yes actually...
Gosh I don't know when the last time was...
It was when my church did a service on it

Yes, many times. The last time was when I watched the crucifixion scene in the movie, "The Passion of the Christ."

yes. every time I read about the crucifixion in the gospels.

tears even come to my eyes when I read about how He came to set men free, to heal, to bless, and He saw the hardness of heart of those who opposed Him. It grieved His heart. So sad He had to witness that.

not about his death but I have wept for him. When i was taken to hell I saw the lost children in the lake of fire I felt such sorry for them but even more so that I know that fathers sorrow for losing his children was and is a billion trillion times more than my own.

I cannot even begin to fathom the depth of the sorrow in his heart for every child he lost and will lose I often times would be in tears for him imagining myself being there with him and wiping the tears from his eyes as he did for me when I was sad I just wanted to hold him and to let him know how deeply loved and cared for he is.

He is and was the first parent no one can ever begin to know the depth of the pain of losing a child except those who have and we are only human our love for own children even though it is indeed deep his is far more cast and the deeper the love the deeper the pain when you lose a loved one. He didnt just lose Jesus that one time he lost and is losing and will lose more precious children that he cares for so strongly that he took such great care and time forming in the womb.

This is why I cry for him

Honestly I wish I had....I feel like with all the violence we see every day, that sensitivity is lacking...

That is exactly what I was trying to see- people's honest sensitivity level.

Watch the Passion of the Christ by Mel Gibson. I still haven't watched it completely, I always look away, as it is hard to accept.

Absolutely yes, more than I can remember, yet those moments don't compare with the times I've rejoiced knowing He is at the right hand of the Father in power and glory. Now that's awesome!

I have, not in a form of pity for what He suffered but more in awe of how far He'd gone to save me. So almost every time, they're tears of joy.

Yes when I dwell too long...it's the suffering He went through leading up to it and the pain He must have ultimately felt. It has a joyful ending though and the conclusion - wow!!!

I was listening to our 2015 Pesach series last week and I cried again :)

The Pesach service this year was so awesome and my boy (8 years old) was with us. He never realised how brutal the crucifixion was and when our pastor showed a clip from passion of the Christ he cried like a baby. Afterward he went to the Pastor and asked him to pray for him and he gave his heart to Jesus (again :) ) but it was special to see the light go on in his head.

Oh wow, how awesome is that! God bless your son.

Yes, many times. My most intense cry was at a youth camp after a corporate but silent reflection time. Very powerful. One was at a Christian young adults camp called Chrysalis. Another time was at the cinemas during The Passion of the Christ movie (it also churned my stomach into a mess). Other times, I cried a little during Easter services/dramas. I can't remember the most recent time I cried about Jesus sacrifice. It was probably while singing a praise and worship song at church or whilst reading my Bible.

I did when I was first born again, now I rejoice.

I'm in the same boat. Jesus makes me smile, even in my toughest of challenges, His strength reminds me of my own and to keep charging ahead. The battle's already over, it's been fought and won. It's up to us now to complete the picture of doing God's will for our lives.
