Malachi 3:1- Behold, I send my messenger (angel) to prepare the way before me, and the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says Jehovah of hosts.

John was no one's Lord, alto he and Jesus were BOTH angels (messengers) from God....
There are two messengers here- John prepares the way, Jesus brings us the new covenant. Also you put a comma where there is a period ending the sentence, and it says then the Lord will suddenly come to His temple.

Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? Ecc. 3:21 (KJV)

Animals have souls because they display thoughts and emotions, but they do not have spirits, that part with which we commune with God and worship. No animal worships a tree or animal or a statue of another animal. Animals function mainly on instinct. Therefore they are not spirit beings like God, angels, humans, and demons.
OK - but how do you explain "All Dogs Go to Heaven"? :p:confused:
and the fact that all of the dogs that I have raised throughout my life-time have seemingly worshipped me - at least that is how they have all made me feel with their consistent display of 'unconditional love'. :D

Jehovah referred to Jesus as His angel ("messenger")~

Mal 3:1- “Behold, I send my messenger to prepare the way before me,
and Jehovah whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple;
the ANGEL of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming,
says Jehovah of hosts. 2- But who can endure the day of his coming,
and who can stand when he appears?

Jesus was the very greatest of ALL God's angels, and has now beenb raised ABOVE them, yet
still LEADS them as the Head Messenger- Archangel:

1 Thess 4:16- For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

No chubby winged babies, nor the symbolic creatures seen in the symbolic visions of old.

Denying Jesus Christ is God is a bannable offense. I'm sure there are Jehovah's Witnesses chat sites. This is a Christian site.

Malachi 3:1- Behold, I send my messenger (angel) to prepare the way before me,

John the Baptiser

the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says Jehovah of hosts.

After him comes THE LORD (YHWH), the messenger of the covenant.

John was no one's Lord
On this we agree, but he prepared the way for THE LORD.

alto he and Jesus were BOTH angels (messengers) from God....
messengers not angels. Jesus was THE LORD.

Nephesh- the Hebrew word translated usually, but not always, translated as "soul", literally meaning "breathing creature"....
whereas man was made in the image of the Elohim. He also had a spirit,

I have always considered the soul and spirit to be two separate entities. The soul being the director of the flesh and the spirit being the director of the conscience. The more we allow the spirit or conscience to dominate our lives the better our fleshly lives will be. Unbelievers allow the flesh to dominate the subconscious and will suffer for it. By the way we may not have to suffer eternally according to the Unforgiving Servant parable. He was jailed until he paid back all that he owed. It's possible that we cannot pay back all that is owed, but then God did say that the evil would be burned out of us. If you want verses, let me know, but I won't have time until tomorrow morning to look them up.

I didn't say that they were not for sure in heaven. I only made mention of the fact that they did not have spirits like us. But I think that your dog "worshiped" you because of what you could do for him (feed, walk, pet). We worship God only because He IS. The Holy Spirit living in our spirit draws us into this worship. And always magnifies Jesus as Lord and God. Faith is our foundation, the evidence of things unseen. Not "bones, walks, petting".

The quote from Eccles. is really a question. Not a statement if you read the context.

In Hebrew, both Ruach and Nephesh signify wind or breath.

With respect to mankind,

In Hebrew idiom, Ruach ha-kodesh = Holy Spirit = directed breath= God's will

.......................Nephesh= Soul = undirected breath= man's will

Those who are not still in the physical, as in Christian who are alive on the earth when He returns. Paul is assuring the Christians that he does want them to be 'unimformed' or mislead about those who die. have a read of Chapter 4.
Do you cover your eyes when seeing such scriptures?

I hope my cat, that I had as a small child, Tiger, made it to heaven when he died. But I do not think so. We are a tri-codomy made up of spirit, soul, and body. I live in a body, i have a soul (mind will and emotions, my spirit is born again. And by the Spirit my spirit "controls", for the lack of a better term, my body and soul.

Maybe animals have a soul too, mind, will and emotions, they are living creatures too. My now cat pees on everything, ready to have her put down for it to (but my son loves her and cried when i told him i was going to put her down.) She does not have a spirit like humans. We are made in the image of Messiah, not animals. the Scripture does tell us He even cares about animal like my son does, for He feeds the sparowes....

Yet the inspired word of God clearly shows the truth:

"soul" is the creature- God, man or animal, and
"spirit" is an unseen force- whether God's power, or man's life or mental state.

All else is simply the nonsense of religions.

You are all over the place.

First you do not seem to understand what Church is.

Church is holy body of Christ.

"And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all."

We as believers make that body in Christ stop insulting the body.

Now if some group of believers teach false doctrine i am more than ready to say this is wrong or this is right but do not go around insulting the body it is holy.

So what group of believers is teaching what false doctrine in your opinion ?

He follows a man and man made tabloid views......the JW's are very subtle....

Hey....how many revisions have there been of the Watch Tower Society comic book?

Let's see.....at first only 144,000 would be saved out of the JW's and when the elders started dropping like flies they had to revive that number so as to keep their ranks growing....I mean after all....if only 144,000 of your denomination can possibly be saved and your ranks swell to 144,001.....which poor sucker will not make the grade?

Sorry pay, you missed it by one of our religious works <--said to the 1 that did not make the cut......

Hey.....can you explain the following? Especially the bolded 1st line.....Taken from the following link https://jwfacts.com/watchtower/changed-watchtower-teachings.php

changed teachings Key to jwfacts.com is the concept that God does not direct Watchtower doctrinal interpretation, as proven by the ongoing changes to Watchtower doctrine.
A Witness will retort that the Bible prophesied "Light Gets Brighter" and so changes are indication Watchtower it is directed by Jehovah. This is nothing more than justification for error.
This section helps prove that the concept of getting brighter is not valid. In many cases, Watchtower doctrine has not brightened or been enhanced but changed and then reverted back to the original position; flip-flopped. At other times, Watchtower has introduced doctrine as having come from Jehovah, only to later make a complete reversal to what was said. Following are a number of these doctrine.
Changed Date Doctrine 1800s

This article covers some of the lesser known failed predictions and changed date doctrine of the Watchtower Society. For many decades the Watchtower taught that the last days started in 1799, Jesus' invisible presence commenced in 1874 and the world would end in 1914. This article outlines over 20 dates no longer taught as truth. more ...
1914

One of the most misleading statements in Watchtower publications is that they accurately foretold 1914 to be the "start" of the conclusion of this system of things. In reality, 1914 was predicted to be the "end" of the system of things, the conclusion of Armageddon and the start of the earthly paradise. Here is a comparison of quotes prior to 1914 with how the Watchtower now presents its history. more ...
1925 - "Millions Now Living Will Never Die!"

In 1918, Rutherford announced "The World Has Ended - Millions Now Living May Never Die!", declaring that the earthly resurrection was scheduled for 1925. In March, a booklet was produced with the more compelling title “The World Has Ended — Millions Now Living Will Never Die”. The failure of this prophecy promoted Rutherford to rewrite the majority of Watchtower date doctrine. more ...
1935 & Increasing Memorial Partakers

For many decades it was taught that selection of the 144,000 was completed in 1935. After this announcement the number of memorial partakers steadily declined. This was presented as proof that the end would be soon. In 2007, an admission appeared that there was no basis for saying the choosing of the Anointed closed in 1935. In the years since 2007 the number of partakers has started to rise again. It is interesting that errors in Watchtower doctrine can dictate whether a follower believes they have been Anointed by Jesus. more ...
1975

The Watchtower made the assertion that Adam was created 6000 years prior to 1975 and so this was a likely year for Armageddon. However, most Witnesses deny such false predictions for the end. This article contains a majority of the quotes regarding 1975 so the reader can determine for themselves whether the Watchtower was responsible for excitement that the end would be 1975. more ...
Beth-Sarim

In line with Rutherford's prediction that the earthly resurrection was to begin in 1925 was the purchase of a mansion at Beth-Sarim, for the "ancient worthies" to live in. Whilst waiting for this occurrence, Rutherford conveniently used it as his place of residence for the winter months. more ...
Baptism Questions

There has been an ongoing tightening of the procedure to become a Jehovah's Witness. Most disturbing was the change in 1985, after which a Witness no longer gets baptised in the "name of the ... holy spirit", but rather to God's "spirit directed organization". more ...
Christmas, Birthdays & Flag Salute

Jehovah's Witnesses are strictly forbidden to celebrate birthdays, Christmas and salute the flag, but for many decades were encouraged to engage in these practices. more ...
Da Vinci Code - Freemasonry & Adventist links

Russell was an offshoot of the 1800's Adventist movement, and included many of their teaching, including those with links back to Freemasonry. This includes the use of symbols such as the knights templar. He placed special emphasis on the pyramid of Giza and used it as a basis for his predictions for the world's end in 1914. more ...
Elder arrangement

The changing elders arrangement highlights the way Witnesses are manipulated to fall in line with statements that such changes have come from Jehovah. When these arrangements fail, it shows Jehovah was not involved at all. more ...
Generation

One of the clearest indicators that Jehovah does not direct Watchtower doctrine has been the ongoing, contradictory changes to the generation teaching. The idea that some born prior to 1914 would still be alive to see Armageddon was the basis for many Witnesses faith, until the doctrine had to be adjusted in 1995. The 2010 "overlapping" generation can be seen as a desperate attempt to continue misusing this doctrine to ignite urgency in Watchtower followers. more ...
Medical Advice

The Watchtower has made numerous erroneous claims about medicine, and flip-flopped on whether a person can use blood and organ transplants. This has led, and continues to result in, avoidable death of unsuspecting followers. more ...
Prophecies - Revelation and Daniel

For anyone that thinks the Governing Body are directed to interpret doctrine, the contradictory adjustments to the understanding of Revelation and Daniel prophecies should be enough to prove otherwise. more ...
Resurrection - for whom

The number of times the Governing Body have changed which groups of people are worthy of a resurrection makes mockery of any claims to what they write as being truth. more ...
Superior Authorities

Yet another flip-flop, this time regarding who the Superior Authorities are. Once again we see the Watchtower embellishing its history when discussing this topic. more ...
Worship Jesus

The most important doctrine a religion can hold to regards the God they promote for worship. It is quite shocking that until the 1950's, Witnesses were told Jesus was a god to worship and pray to, along with Jehovah. This made them polytheistic. In 1953 the worship of Jesus became a disfellowshipping offence. more ...
Zionism

Russell was a Zionist and actively promoted that the return of a Jewish state. Rutherford continued in this line for a period of time, before turning on the Jews and claiming Zionist teachings were from Satan.

The Greek word means "congregation".
Are you suggesting all these churches teaching different things are under his guidance, and have his blessing?
