Jon, you can't use the argument that Catholics murdered many people, so did Protestants (for different reasons). All are sinful.

mary was a sinner and the popes not jesus representative. so many good christians have been tortured and murdered by the papacy and i would be proud to be one of them so long as i am able to do some damage to satans trap before then :)

Always trust God and his word. Never trust man. Dont trust me. Pray about it and if you are humble im sure he will help you
We are told that the pope is "a leader among equals." And the other night, after my class at the Church i study at, I came home and got on my knees and spoke to our Good Lord saying to Him, " You know Lord, everything my teachers are saying makes so much sense! What do you want me to do?" AND INSTANTLY, He said to me "listen to them." Guys, the Lord is speaking to me so much and guiding me every day of my life because I ask Him to every day. He would never allow me to be guided by the evil one, especially now that that I live every minute for Him and surround myself with righteousness. This being the case, I have never fallen in love with anything so much in my life as i have done with Christ through the teachings and the guidance He has given me through the Holy Spirit, who guides the Magesterium of Catholic Church.Understand something, brothers and sisters, I have ALOT of friends in other denominations who I join every now and then to praise God through singing in their Churches (only after I have been to my Church to Partake in the sacrament of the Liturgy and Eucharist) and I love having that connection with those brothers and sisters where we all just concentrate on praising Christ. As Christians, we all have so much to worry about (athiesm and islam) which we should be defending CHRISTIANITY against, TOGETHER! AS CHRIST'S FAMILY! instead of trying to attack eachother on our faith which WE ALL hold so valuable! Peace! Love you all!

Let's forget differences, a lot of bad things happened in the past that were not of the Lord, but I feel His spirit moving among his people today. It is not about labels it is about heartfelt love for God and what he has done for us and I hope and pray that God will move among us as we focus on him and HIS word.

Amen. (So be it Lord)

God did NOT choose a sinner to use as a vessel for His Only Son! He chose a vessel worthy of carrying the Devine. A sinless and pure vessel. God bless. And I praise God for bringing you a long way and pray that He continues to work in you. Amen.
Sinless? Why then did Mary call Jesus her Saviour? Saviour from what if not sin?

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
(Luk 1:46-47)

OK guys! i have to correct myself (I think!). I still have some reading to do here, but from what I've read so far, Mary was without "original sin", which is something you guys don't agree with anyway. But I had to tell you this. Wouldn't be fair not to. I'm going fishing now! See you all later. GB

Romans 3:10: "There is none righteous, no, not one;"

Romans 3:23: "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"

God is God. He does not need a sinless vessel to give birth to a sinless Jesus. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Mary was just a vessel. Read the scriptures, for they prove she was a sinner like everyone else, in need of a savior.

To say she was sinless is to put her on the same level as Jesus, because only He was sinless.

Well, I'm not your enemy but I just can't agree with that point of yours. Please show me scriptural verses relating to Mary's sinless nature. Have fun fishing.

It's not whether or not we agree with it but rather does Scripture agree with the sinlessness of Mary?

If you can go off that ALONE and stand AGAINST the Church, then there's something wrong. Like I said to you in pm, everything I have heard the Catholic Church accused of, brother, as a Christian I have researched to see BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY instead of just choosing to listen to the side that sounds appealing to the rest of the world! And I have found an answer from the Church for every accusation which makes sense. Trust me, if I thought the Church went against the Law of God, I wouldn't be a part of it. Does one go against his Father who loves him and died for Him? No I don't. But at the end of the day, we all believe what we do because of what we have learned and what we have been shown. The difference in Catholicism and Protestantism, is that Protestantism works off sola-scriptura, and the Catholic Church works off scripture and tradition, which is why we will never agree on alot of things. BUT! The thing we have in common, is we all depend on Christ for our salvation, which makes us all Christians.

If they have never heard and believed they gospel, how can they be saved?
God is Righteous and the word has gone out tothe ends of the earth andthere will be no excuse for man for will have had their chance to change their mind from unbelief to belief period and stay with belief through the rest of their walk, for their is no further repentance than to change ones mind to belief from unbelief and Father has said that all will know him from the least to the greatest and that Father will be our teacher of truth that sets one free

In Old Testament days it was sufficient to believe in God and live a life that was pleasing to him.
And noone did except those of Faith but never did under Law please Father

This is something I will not agree with you on. The Bible says that the only one without sin was and is Jesus Christ (the one who was/is fully man and fully God). God blessed Mary through the Holy Spirit. Part of the divine miracle is the fact that one without sin grew within the womb of one sinful but blessed human being. Mary wasn't without sin. None of us are.
Blessed are the ones that their sins are covered and today are taken away in the Old Covered after the cross taken away Blessed be God our Father through Christ the propitiation of man's sins forever to all but not all have recieved this nor see it as of yet

Brother Mary believed and had Faith and this faith was counted unto her as righteousness, just as all the other Old Testament Saints byFaith read Hebrews 11 gives a good overlook about the Saints of the Old Teatament
Regardless of any of she was a Virgin and she bore the Savior Jesus christ the righteous one therefor Christ being born of a Virgin came out a life-giving Spirit by the Holy Ghost WOW!!!!!

Keep on brother with only you and for their is only one:

  • 1 Timothy 2:5
    For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; therefore it matters not to which gathering goes if that person is wanting to know Christ and if Christ is being preached then God will lead that person to know him via the Son ans will see that by the bodyof Christ they are dead to law freed to serve Christ by the life (resurrection) Waht one needs to be watchful for in any denomination or non denmoination
    is:
    Matthew 23:15Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
    And please understand nothing is new under the sun, the hypocrites are still here today and for me it is Christ and I connected and I have fellowship with all the Saints in Spirit, I belong to no Church except the one God pitcherd not man
    [h=3]Hebrews 8[/h]King James Version (KJV)

    8 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
    [SUP]2 [/SUP]A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

    And actually all the ones that believe like you 7seven7 belong here as well as a citizen of Heaven period no longer a citizen on earth, but now an ambassador representing the kingdom of Heaven being crucified as Paul was whilehe was still here on earth this is the calling of our beloved Savior Jesus Christ
